~Jack POV~

"Ah…"

Yawning a bit opening my mouth as I wake up from last night training my body and increasing my skills.

Shaking my body as I began to go out in the open stretching my body as I began to hurry up getting a grove with my body feeling the stiffs in my body get unbound.

Ah…

That feels really nice.

"Yo did you sleep well or were you off training in the night mister?"

"Ack…!"

"So you did!"

Hearing the voices from Tai surprised me and I acted out before he smirks at me as he responded to me, "Heh. Sorry kid but I remember some buddies of mine had gone to troubles like you did. Good times. So… what exactly were you doing in the night that you stick out like a night light?"

Flinching a bit at that I never considered I was being watched.

I thought I was being careful but… actually considering who I was living with…

Yeah…

Dumb idea considering who I'm talking to.

With that, I explained to Tai carefully how I was training my body in the night to gain as much strength as possible for Beacon.

As well as explain the reasoning for the failures with some of my training methods as Tai stifles a laugh at me, "Wow. Harsh man. You kept on doing it and still failed huh? At least you are determined. Shows good qualities as a leader."

Shrugging at this I began to follow down the kitchen as I replied to the man I chalked it up to my gamer powers but didn't say it in reality, "I don't know. I'm chalking it up to my soul. I mean it was restarted as storage for more semblances but even with new abilities, I do need to train them. It's like moving a new limb but goes crazy and I have to get them ready for some tough battles ahead."

Tai ponders my words as I help him out with making some breakfast and usual another skill popped up in front of me.

Turning around to Tai I hesitated to give my reply to Tai about the cooking skill and the Foodgasm but I managed to stop myself as I apparently got the wrong ingredients for cooking for breakfast as he caught me on escaping to answer him, "Haha! Man, you really are bad at cooking. Hey if you happen to fail to attend Beacon, I don't mind having a part-time farmer work on my fields."

Snorting at that remark keeping my silent as Tai merely laughs at me behind my back at that.

Well, screw you, man.

Note to self I will max my cooking skill and let's see how you react when your daughters eat it and how they react –

That sounds like I'm courting or inviting Death to come after me in the form of the family fury of a Dad that can kick my ass all week.

Well, there were worse ways to die in the future.

Not going to happen but for the time being, I was busy helping Tai cook some breakfast to help as getting a Homie was out of the question returning to my training will do nicely.

Maybe I should ask Ruby for a kind of firearm for me to have at the side with the Fire Dust swords I got from the Thugs.

"So, you want me to forge Gauntlets like Yang's?"

"Basically since I have no weapon plus I'm more of a punch guy."

"Hmm…"

"What can I say your sister has flare hope it isn't troubling I'll pay even."

When I finished eating breakfast, I immediately got to ask the resident Weapons Expert Ruby about making me a weapon similar to Yangs.

I already gave the idea to her as she knows more about this than I did as I needed a close-range but long-range weapon.

It was at this moment that Ruby began to reply as she thinks out loud for a bit before replying to me, "Well we could reforge from scratch and ask Yang about the blueprints? Although the materials would be different than the original as well as the necessary iron needed. Hmm… it could be done in the next 2 or 3 days but is there any theme you would want it though?"

Placing my hand over my chin I thought about my options I thought with the materials a mech shift into other melee weapons would do as I responded, "Hmm… how about just follow Yang's idea for the time being. At least while it lasts me till the hunter exam at the very least if it's possible Ruby?"

Pondering my idea of my choice she thinks for a bit before she nods her head as she responded to me, "Hmm… could work. Plus, the extra Fire Dust could be smelted down to create the gauntlets along change some gears. Maybe a shield function as well…. But otherwise, it could work could use my time to build it for you."

Smiling and thanking Ruby she certainly agreed to help me create the weapon as I smirked thanking the cookie monster.

Next, I see Yang over to my side playing with Zwei I asked her for a simple task that could help me, "Say Yang can you help me train in hand-to-hand combat? I would need to learn the basics of fighting barehanded if you have the time of course."

Yang merely smiles at me as she lets off Zwei out as she stretches out her arms as replied to me in a happy manner, "Sure thing. I needed to stretch my arms out and do you need me to go hard on you pal? Because I'm doing this with a Yang!"

"Ugh… please don't!"

"Oh come on sis!"

Seeing the interaction between the sisters it seems like they truly have a strong bond that's for sure.

But seeing this chance…

Even if I fail I still get the experience of fighting against people like Yang in the future.
