~Third POV~

Watching from the stands, Ruby Rose sees them start to walk away and excitedly gets up from her seat with the rest of her team to meet them at one of the exits.

Ruby catches up and spreads her arms as she calls out to her friend, "Penny!"

Penny lifting up her own arms, she tackles her friend into a hug that leaves them both of them on the ground, "Ruby!"

Ruby grunts, then groan weakly questioning her life choices, "Why... Why do I do the things I do…"

Penny gets up energetically and gestures to the other teammate, "Ruby, this is my teammate."

Ciel bows formally to Ruby in an empty tone, "Ciel Soleil."

Ruby raises her hand in greeting introducing herself to Ciel politely, "Hi! I'm Ru-"

Before Ruby could continue, she was immediately interrupted by Ciel going into unnecessary details about her, "Ruby Rose. 15. Hails from Patch. Leader of Team RWBY. Apart from the Heroes of Remnant and their relationship with Jack Nights… along with others… Status: Questionable?"

Ruby went silent for a second with her eyebrow twitching before ignoring Ciel turning back to her friend, "Sooo... Penny! You two were incredible out there. How do you keep control of all those swords? It's so cool!"

Ciel looks at her watch and gestures at it to Penny to hurry along away, "Penny? I believe it is best if we move on to our next location."

Penny exchanges a look with Ruby before asking Ciel in an annoyed tone, "Could we have some alone time Ciel? Don't worry I'll be there soon."

In response, Ciel sighs at this but reluctantly accepts and leaves Penny alone with Ruby making Ruby ask Penny in confusion, "So is she... your friend or..."

Penny shakes her head and smiles at Ruby responding to who Ciel is to her in an annoyed tone in her voice, "Well, in a way she's my handler per se. Ironwood thought she could convince me to stay at Atlas with a mind like Blake, but if Blake was ordered to spend time with you."

Ruby had an oh expression on her face slamming her fist to her hand in understanding, "Oh. So, like Weiss basically. But somehow stricter."

Penny smiles happily at this nodding in understanding for Ruby to understand, "Precisely. Although she does treat me like an object than a person. So, talking with my friends is refreshing Ruby."

Ruby lowering her voice moves her body abruptly as if imitating a robot, leaving her arm to hang with a noticeable squeaking sound, "Does she know about... y'know... beep boop bop, does not compute?"

Penny sighs at this nodding her head in agreement since her secret of being an android is out in the open, "Sigh… yup. General Ironwood doesn't really want anyone to know but when fighting an Alien God is left with no choice of that. Trust me being an android isn't what's cracked up to be. There was an incident with a magnet, but I was able to play it off."

Penny began to talk to Ruby about the incident on the Vytal Festival grounds with Ciel and her, who was wearing a large sun hat. The wind picks up and lifts the hat from her hair, revealing the aforementioned magnet on her skull, and Penny quickly shoves the headgear back on before Ciel turns back around.

The story causes Ruby and Penny to laugh about it in the present for several seconds before Penny still smiling, finally talks about the news, "Ruby, there's something I've been wanting to talk to you or Jack about. I want to stay at Beacon for the next semester!"

Ruby's eyes widen in surprise hearing the news grasping Penny's hand in joy, "Wow! That means all of our friends will finally meet each other! This is great news!"

Penny chuckles at this agreeing with Penny's words nodding in acceptance thanking her next, "I agree. I wouldn't have dreamed to have great friends such as you, you're team, and Team JNPR being my first. You have my real thanks for them."

Ruby agrees but soon frowns a bit when Penny mentioned Team JNPR because she received the news of who's fighting next.

Penny's eyes blink for a bit before her eyes shined in understanding patting Ruby's shoulder and realizing who they are up against, "Oh… it seems like Team RWBY and Team JNPR are against each other in the double rounds after me and Team CFVY. Yang Xiao Long and Weiss Schnee Vs. Jack Nights and Pyrrha Nikos. This will surely be an interesting development…"

Penny comments on her thoughts with Ruby shaking her head recovering from her unlucky chances of facing Team JNPR, "You're right! Whoever wins or loses I'm supporting both of them all the way. No matter what happens."

Penny smiles hearing Ruby's optimism about the outcome of the fight agreeing with her, "Of course Ruby. No matter what happens everyone will remain friends in the end."

*Beep*

Suddenly the intercom system spoke out Port's voice came back over the stadium speakers to announce, "Our next match will begin in 15 minutes! And for everyone, it would be one I wouldn't want to miss! Team RWBY Vs. Team JNPR each respective teams that saved Remnant shall show off who's truly the best among heroes!"

The two listening to this Ruby and Penny looked at each other before smiling and hurrying along to seats of the stadium to get front row seats of what was going to go down.

~Weiss POV~

Fuck.

Just god damn it…

Why god?

Just why?

Why do we have to face them?!!

When we got the news of who we were facing against the doubles rounds it had to be Team JNPR.

Jack Nights as the people gave him the title of 'Jack of All Trades' because of the numerous Semblances he can use.

Pyrrha Nikos former champion of 'Champion of Mistral' won multiple tournaments in a row.

Those are our opponents at the moment and reaching the finals now seems like a fleeting dream right now but then again…

"Hey Ice Queen you ok?"

Ah!

Yelping in surprise Yang sneaking up on me suddenly asked me out of nowhere as she spoke to me, "Whoa! Take a chill pill there Weiss or else you will be too worried about our next round."

Glaring at my friend I took in a deep breath and relief while I discuss with Yang my worries about the next fight, "Sigh… Yes, I'm worried Yang. We're up against who are probably the best-known fighters in our generation. Honestly, I'm overwhelmed fighting them also don't call me Ice Queen again."

Speaking the last part to Yang getting the point she merely laughs it off while pulling her arm around my neck and speaking out, "Sure Ice Princess. But I know exactly how feel you going into this against our boyfriend or I guess enemy of the day."

Sighing at Yang's usual attitude at this I guess I envy her calm joking self right now considering of who were up against very soon.

But fortunately enough we managed to get notified ahead of time since the Organizers wanted us to be prepared ahead of time and get ready for who we faced.

It just so happened we had to fight Team JNPR two powerhouses.

Still, though that didn't mean we were out of any plans to see against them Pyrrha we can ring out if we rush but the real threat is Jack and his multiple Semblances that we know of and others we don't.

Merely touching him could have our aura drain like what he did to Sun and fire manipulation attacking Neptune's own water attack with fire to erupt steam.

Water, fire, draining, aura amp, magnetism, super speed, glyphs, shadow clones, aura manipulation to a fair degree, telekinesis, aura balls, aura constructs, and not only that he doesn't really rely on them that much but his own prowess of his fighting styles with the blade and fist.

This is truly a very difficult pair of opponents to be faced with the odds of victory being close to none.

Argh…

That's really going to be frustrating but not only that…

Narrowing my eyes thinking about it I can't help but feel nervous against them after so long.

Pyrrha did not do much considering if we fought it was no problem and in all honestly, it makes me really pity the enemies, we all faced Jack as an ally.

I would never have thought about him as an enemy before.

As an ally his someone we can rely on when the going gets tough but here as an enemy with an unknown amount of skills under his belt along with a variety of unknown items of his inside his <Deep Pockets> skill.

I can actually genuinely sympathize with our past enemies facing Jack now.

How we win this I have no idea where to begin against them.

Really it baffles me just now I realize this face having Jack as an ally is reassuring but as an enemy, it causes me to go into fear thinking about what he can or will do given the chance.

Shh…

I think I felt a shiver run down my spine thinking of such a possibility happening today.

*Beep*

Suddenly hearing the sound from my Scroll, I looked it up to see a text from that brute trying to reassure me and everyone it seems about our coming fight while I read the text, I received from him.

Sender: Jack Nights

Hey, Weiss and every one of Team RWBY I hope you guys give us your best in the double rounds and give it you're all. Whatever happens, just happens. So, don't go giving in to pure pressure otherwise you will cause some mistakes.

And just for this round only I will fight only martial arts and 5 Semblances of your guys choosing. I want this to be fair if at all possible, with you guys of Team RWBY. Besides I want to challenge myself.

P.S. From your loving boyfriend with the mouth Nights.

My eyes twitched at this but soon smiled kindly at how his letting us choose what semblances to use in this round with Yang gesturing at this to my eyes, "Hey Weiss you are thinking what I'm thinking?"

Nodding in understanding there is no way we're letting any opportunity like this escape us.

Although I'm curious as to why Jack did this in a weird way it could be that his Semblance <Fusion> needed to copy Yang's semblance could be possible that this is one of the conditions needed.

I mean I only saw him use Blake's, Ruby, and my own Semblances being used yet never Yang's at the time.

Guess it just means it was Yang's time to be added to the list of his ridiculous arsenal of superpowers.

Still giving us a handy cap like this does hurt my pride that knowing my enemy is allowing this just because of some reason should I feel hurt by this?

Fuck no.

We're up against the greatest of our generation.

Fuck honor against them and will abuse any chance we can get to win against those two.

Regardless this could be our chance to win.

A sliver of a chance that we desperately need to win no matter what.
