58th Floor Desert - Ruby Crystal

Ruby walked around, her eyes scanning her surroundings. It's been a few hours since she escaped from the inn, currently she's looking for the Floor Keeper but it's harder than it looks. Around her were sand, lots and lots of sand. Occasionally a Sand Worm would pop out to try and gobble her up but she'll kill them quickly, her stomach grumbled as she frowned.

"I forgot to buy supplies, damn Lucifer and his update. Damn Summer for sending people to get her." Ruby squatted down on her knees and groaned, "Maybe I should find another town or something, I can't do this while hungry." With a flick of her wrist, and a chant of a spell. A giant snake appears with a wag of its tail, "Fang! Can you help me find a town or something, I'm really really hungry right now."

Fang paused before burrowing in front of her, the next thing she knew, a large Sand Prowler was tossed outside of the hole. Ruby was stunned, Sand Prowlers, the apex monsters of the floor. They look like sabertooth tigers with the ability to stay underground for long periods of time, usually they wait until nightfall before striking but sometimes they come out at day when their prey let's down their guards.

Holy Lucifer she was standing on a Sand Prowler with her noticing.

Tower Management Floor - Lucifer

"AHHHHH!!!" Lucifer screamed as he rolled on the floor, "DAMMIT WHO SAID MY NAME WITH A WORD ASSOCIATED WITH THE DIVINE?!" Lucifer paused before erupting in a more angry fit, "RUBYYYY!!!!"

58th floor - Ruby Crystal

She suddenly shivered and looked around, bad vibes. reallyyy really bad vibes, anyways she looked at the dead Sand Prowler at her feet and smiled brightly. Sand Prowler's meat was said to be delicious and the opportunity to prove it was right in front of her, "Fang! I love you so muchh." Ruby hugged the snake with a tight squeeze feeling happy that her friend and familiar grew stronger, Fang closed its eyes with pride.

Taking out a small knife from her duffle bag, she began to skin the beast with practiced ease. Tyrone's lessons once again proved their worth, a smile graced her lips.

Ruby wonders how they're fairing right now, she knows that she sent a lot of people towards their tribe. Hopefully her father was okay with taking them in like how he had done for her.

A few minutes later, she had finally separated the meat into chunks of raw meat. a large amount of it went to her inventory including the skin of the Prowler, the only pieces she had on her person was a large slice which was the same size as her thighs.

A chant of a spell later, a fireplace was made in front of her, she quickly cooked the meat on a stick and ate it while also feeding Fang the leftovers. She let out a contented sigh, she sat down on Fang and rested for a while, her energy was spent and she needed as much energy as she can.

Ruby then took her duffle bag and rummaged through the contents until she grabbed a specific item, she pulled it out and in her hands a worn out book was seen with the words 'Everything you need to know about floors 50 to 60.' She flipped through the pages until she reached the page she was looking for.

"Ymitris, The Sandstorm. The Keeper of the sands, any and all creatures with this name are changed into the original's species and are taken over by the Keeper's soul. Ymitris is a ten foot giant, his species usually stay in hot and dry places and hunt unsuspecting travellers. He has three skills that need to be watched out for. <Oppression> <Flamen> <Struggle>" Ruby hummed as she continued reading.

"<Oppression> this skill makes users feel a certain amount of weight on their bodies usually resulting in slower movement and weaker strikes on the affected individual. This increases with time, so defeat him as quickly as possible." Ruby grimaced, she knew that this was a hard battle.

"<Flamen> a flame/buff spell, the only spell Ymitris knows, this spell makes a large flaming ball in the sky buffing the caster with more strength and makes it so half of the attack he does sets people on fire. Have a spell like <Ice Armor> to counter this." Ruby groaned, a high tier spell. Always a high tier spell, she knew what <Ice Armor> was as she herself had a downgraded version of the spell called <Ice Cloak>.

Hopefully that would be enough to counter this, "<Struggle> A life saving skill Ymitris has, this skill makes it so that for 30 seconds, His skills will be 10x more powerful. It only activates when his life is in danger." Ruby then looked at the very bottom of the page and saw a note written by Annie.

"P.S. This skill has a fatal weakness, it won't activate as long as you are using a ranged weapon. This has been tested many times -Annie" Ruby smiled and thanked her big sis in her head, she looked at Fang who had his eyes on her as soon as he felt Ruby's gaze.

"It's going to be a tough battle Fang, but as long as you're with me. We can make it through this." Fang hissed in happiness when Ruby rubbed his head, Ruby then looks at the horizon, "Well Fang." She put everything she didn't need into her inventory and held her sword's hilt.
