Power Leveling

BAM!

Yin's fist smashed into the insectoid boss' hard exoskeleton again, but the damage was negligable. She felt her aura take a hit when she used her hands to block its powerful mandibles from hitting her. Yet even though her body was being pushed back by the might of the boss monster, her grin never left her face.

"I can cast a spell to damage it. I just need blood." The newly named Yue spoke up on Hajime's back.

"You're free to take some of mine but.. Well, I think you'd piss my friend off." Hajime replied a bit helplessly.

CRAAAASH!

"He's damn right..!" Yin yelled as her body was smashed through a couple of stalagtites present in the room.

"I've been facing weak monsters this whole time. I'm not sharing this one..!" They heard her growl as she slammed her knee into the monster's chin and smashed her elbow into its head, making its exoskeleton crack a tiny bit.

Its body responded in kind by blasting Yin with its mana. Not one to let its prey catch its breath, it swung its massive pincers at her as her feet dragged along the ground. Yin leapt away, her body glowing blue as 'Ignition' was activated, bathing her body in ethereal blue flames. Yin was just in time to jump over its body and evade its stingers.

BAM! BAM!

Multiple punches and elbows slammed into its exoskeleton before she used 'Mana hike' to bounce around at different points in the air. The monster lunged at her, which she easily dodged and countered with a Taekwondo flying side kick to its mandible. The force and blue explosion making it quite literally explode out of its face and land near Hajime and Yue.

"She can directly use mana too..?" Yue quietly asked Hajime.

"Heh. Yeah. She's a bit of a monster herself." Hajime muttered a reply, watching Yin fight the boss.

It was proving to be a challenge. Even going as far as to resist her strikes with 'Mana claws' and 'Lightning clad' strikes she was hitting it with. Its body smashed Yin into the ceiling before blasting her down with a rather powerful explosion from its mouth.

"Hajime.." Yue said with a tone of warning.

"Yeah, I know. She might be in over her head. Let's go help-" "DON'T YOU DARE.." A deep growling voice cut him off before he could pull out Donner.

They saw Yin still standing, her aura dimming as she began to deeply inhale. An absurd amount of mana began to swirl around her, taking on the same hue as the blue flames that coated her body. Yue's eyes widened as she noticed the black scales and claws that appeared on her body. Hajime's brows furrowed as he realized what she was doing.

"She's not inhaling air.. Oh shit!" Hajime moved away with Yue as Yin arched her back and unleashed a brilliant flash of blue flames from her mouth.

"RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGHHHHHH"

The room temperature drastically increased as a sea of azure flames shot out of Yin's mouth. The boss monster hissed and screetched in agony as the flames washed over it, boiling it beneath its exoskeleton. It threw its body around, flailing its limbs and rolling as it was burned alive. Soon enough, it stopped moving and Yin closed her mouth, running her hand down her warm throat.

"..Haaah... Phew.." Yin panted, turning back to face the two.

"Mn. I agree. She is kind of a monster." Yue silently agreed.

"Well at least it's cooked.. But when could you breathe fire? Can you breathe anything else?" Hajime asked, seeming a bit excited at the prospect of learning that.

"Darkness, maybe. Whatever that does.. And yeah, I think I can teach you. Since your body utilizes mana like mine." Yin agreed, both walking up to the corpse of the boss.

'These guys are strange.. I don't dislike it though' Yue thought to herself in amusement, watching the two peel off the monster's exoskeleton.

Yin smirked as she glanced at the windows calculating her XP gain. The future bosses they'll face almost made her salivate. But she was determined not to steal all of Hajime's growth. After all, being in his party was practically a sure-fire way to get strong. Yue, Shia, Tio and even Kaori experienced large leaps in strength when he trained them and took them dungeon-diving. All she had to do was teach them a little and tag along for the ride.

-Several days later-

Days passed as they cleared every floor they descended down into. As it turns out, Yue was kind of a badass mage. Something Hajime discovered when she used one spell to kill over forty monsters. She was also quite knowledgeable about the dungeon and had told them both about its speculated origins. Though Yin had already known that much already.

After that, Yin was subjected to something terrible. Hajime and Yue flirting.

"Hajime~" Yue called out as they sat around a camp fire, looking at Hajime 'hungrily'.

"I hope she's just thirsty.." Yin muttered, hearing Yue glomp Hajime, then Hajime's groan.

"Mature taste~" Yue said between muffled groans.

"That better just be Yue drinking blood." Yin called out, hearing the questionable noises stop.

"Urgh.. it is." Hajime groaned out.

As soon as Yin looked over, she saw Yue straddling Hajime, looking over at her with somewhat of a competitive look in her eyes. Yin shook her head ruefully.

"Well if you ever do feel the need to suck more than his blood, at least give me a warning so I don't stick around for it." Yin smirked, seeing both of their faces go bright red.

-Two days later-

BANG!

Yin shot the flower off a Dinosaur monster, making it collapse into a tree. Yin clicked her tongue, looking at the superheated barrel of another failed gun prototype. Even being made of superior metals and the carapace of the insectoid boss, it only really lasted three shots before it was rendered inert.

"Hm... We'll have to make it out of something that's on par with a Dragon." Hajime commented, catching the ruined pistol.

"So.. another Dragon?" Yue asked, both glancing at Yin.

"Another Dragon..?" Yin thought about it.

Images of Tio popped in her mind. Though there was a difference between what Yin feels to be a Dragon and what Tio was. She had the form and impressive power, yes. But there was no hint of any kinship she could feel. Though perhaps, not yet.

"That'd probably feel strange. Wouldn't they be your brothers and sisters?" Hajime asked casually.

Then they were blasted with the full force of something they barely recognized to be bloodlust. Both looked to Yin, who was emitting it. Her face was shadowed over by her hair, but they saw the ominous deep purple eyes staring at them as if they said something unforgiveable. As soon as Hajime appeared ready to fight, the horrifying pressure on their shoulders went away.

"Haaaah..!" Yue took a deep breath and stared at Yin cautiously.

"Sorry about that. Instinct took over there." Yin apologized, easing both Hajime and Yue, who took a deep breath to calm themselves.

Yang had appeared in her mind after Hajime made his comment. It confirmed what Yin had always thought in the back of her mind. Once she returned to Remnant, she had something to do.

-Three days later-

The flower boss turned out to be a dissapointment. Its main ability was to control monsters with its flowers, which would sprout on its head. This time, Hajime was the one who killed it, given it tried to kill him with Yue. After that, they decided to relax on that floor, since it simulated being in a forest above ground. It felt as if they were close to the end, so resting and preparing was a good idea.

Yin was thinking while staring at the prototype rifles and pistols her and Hajime had made. Hajime could use them, but her own mana was far too potent and would destroy the toughest ones in about three shots, even using as little mana as possible. On the bright side, she was learning how to efficiently use her mana, but it was getting frustrating.

Puchi~

Yue poked the side of Yin's breasts, trying to get her attention.

"Yes, Yue? If it's about blood again.." Yue shook her head and looked to Hajime, who was dismantling a monster several meters away.

"Need advice. I.. um.. like Hajime. Very much." Yue admitted with a small blush.

"Oh really? I hadn't noticed.." Yin replied sarcastically.

Yue pouted and crossed her arms, "Used to think you did too. Got competitive. Sorry."

Yin waved it off, "No. I'm not into men. But I suppose if I ever became curious, I'd ask Hajime."

Yue became somewhat defensive after hearing that, until Yin snorted in amusement.

"Muu.. Fine. But only after I do." Yue huffed in annoyance.

"Alright alriiiight.. What advice is it you need? You already know you're in love, so just tell him?" Yin raised her brow, watching as Yue's face turned redder every passing second.

"...Oh... Ohhhhh.. You wanna have sex. Well you were trapped for three hundred years, so I get it.. Hm.. Okay, I got it. What you do is.." Yin grew a devious smile as she began whispering in Yue's ear.

-Several minutes later-

Hajime was finishing his meal of roasted monster dinosaur tail when he felt Yue tug at his sleeve. Something which happened often when she wanted blood, or to talk with him. What was unusual, was the strange look in her eyes. It was like when she became thirsty.

"Er.. yes, Yue?" Hajime asked, idly glancing around for Yin, who was leisurely walking away from their camp.

"I have something to tell you." Yue took a deep breath and stared at Hajime, her aura taking a somehow menacing feeling.

"Now.. I tell you what. I like you, and I want you. Now, we can do this the easy way, or the hard way. The choice is yours." Yue stated, the coat Hajime gave her slipping off to reveal her nude body.

"I.. What? Yue? What are you.." Hajime's lips were sealed by Yue's finger.

"Okay. I can see you choosing the hard way." Yue smiled, licking her lips.

"Eh..? Yue..? YUE!? YUUUUUUEEEEEEE-" Was the last thing Yin heard before she got far enough away from the camp.

-Four hours later-

Yin returned to camp, seeing their items scattered over the area. In the center was Yue and Hajime laid down on a monster hide they used as beds. Hajime was still awake but Yue was soudly asleep while mounted on Hajime.

"...Really..? Booty warrior?" Hajime asked quietly.

"I knew you'd appreciate the reference. You and her were way too horny. Besides, you needed this before we get to the last boss of this dungeon." Yin shrugged, laying down on her monster hide across from them.

"..I guess.." Hajime muttered back.

"Can't wait to hear you explain her appearance back in Japan. 'No, really! She's actually over three hundred years old!'" Yin joked, seeing Hajime's face sour.

-Two days later-

They finally descended down to the final floor of the Orcus Dungeon. Past a teleportation circle, they found themselves in front of the last boss. Something which made even Yin excited, stood before them and the outside. A hydra glared down at them, poised to attack them.

Yin cracked her knuckles and looked at her status screen. The accumulated levels she got from the dungeon made her grin.
