Several minutes passed before she calmed down and called Wu Gang.

"Xiaogang, wait for me in town after you get off work today, your sister-in-law will treat you to a big meal at Shi Jia Hotel!"

"Why all of a sudden decide to go for a big meal at such a fancy hotel? It's so extravagant," Wu Gang asked, puzzled.

"Hehe…" Zhao Lamei let out a naive laugh, not sure how to reply.

Wu Gang wasn't in a rush; he knew that Zhao Lamei would certainly tell him.

Ten seconds later, Zhao Lamei suppressed the excitement in her heart and tried to sound calm, "Actually, just now your brother Fei called me. He said he's turned over a new leaf and wants to apologize to us in person, so he's set up a table at Shi Jia Hotel and invited us both over!"
