Chapter 1 - Vol.1: The rise of the brotherhood.

——

Queens, New York. Parker residence. August 31, 2005, 8:00 AM.

There are many strange questions in life.

Some more extravagant than others, but the essence is there. These questions are of course long-ingrained throughout a person's life.

For example.

The theme of superpowers.

Long and long, surely, who didn't think about it once when they were kids. Even David, despite everything, was a child, with normal tastes for his age, so I do consider him.

To be able to fly through the skies.

Or shoot lightning bolts through the eyes.

It is the great dream of every child in the world.

But how many people would not use those powers for their benefit?

Humans as a species have a natural tendency to be evil.

Selfish desires, a face of humanity that no one wants to believe anymore, are nevertheless well present in everyone. It only takes a bit of power for a person to show his true colors.

That's the million-dollar question.

Well, that was happening to David right now, not knowing why he was transmigrated to the world of Marvel and if that's not weird enough already, things got even worse when he realized that he had the skills of a cartoon...

Now, this could have a lot of strange implications.

Why of course it had to be a cartoon. It is to say as if dying in a secret tomb, finding an orb that brought him to a world that was supposed to be a movie, and stealing someone else's body wasn't enough.

To he had to have the skills of a cartoon.

Yes, why not.

The absurd stopped meaning anything to him.

He honestly did not know what the hell was happening, but he knew that he was not going to gain anything by getting upset. He was always a highly adaptable person, which was demonstrated by his family situation in his life.

Or his other life in every pot.

He took the place of Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, he lived in a New York apartment with his aunt May Parker who was still in the first grade of high school. Something curious that David found, is that he somehow was in a strange mix between the movies of spider man.

Peter's aunt is very much like the last actress, who played May Parker. After Spider-Man was integrated into the shared Marvel universe, the inconsistency in this was personally the same.

According to his memories, Peter is currently 14 years old.

If this is just the world where Spider-Man is the only superhero he would be fine.

But whether it's the Marvel Cinematic Universe or even worse the comics, he was sure something was wrong.

David seriously hoped it wasn't comics, crazy people were not lacking in this world, and he didn't want to get into that matter. At least of course he had the power to defend himself.

Something that he immediately realized is that he was, abnormally intelligent, that is to say, the same in the other world of him was not an idiot, but he realized that he could never cope with the one from now.

Peter's mind was certainly outstanding.

And that the incident with the spider that gave her his abilities had not yet occurred.

Perhaps because of his abrupt arrival that would never happen. Not him at least, it was difficult to be sure in this situation.

Another question that crossed David's mind was whether he really would have to be a hero.

At first, it sounded interesting.

But what many do not understand is that everything is fine. While you're out of the equation, you can easily talk about being a hero, but something else entirely is being in the action.

The responsibility is enormous and it is far from easy. Aside from the danger, not only did he have a family to himself now, even though he did not consider May his mother or family, the body he currently stole certainly was for Peter.

David was not one to run from responsibility.

So he needed to think hard before doing anything stupid.

Going into other topics, David was currently standing inside his room. Windows closed and everything hidden from prying eyes.

Crossing his arms over his chest David spoke. "As I remember Danny's abilities are: Human-Phantom Physiology, Fusion by Intangibility, Duplication, Electrokinesis, Disguise, Energy Strikes, Intangibility, Phantasmagoric Lament, Phantom Sense, Reality Manipulation, Shapeshift, Energy Constructs, spectral body manipulation, possession, technopathy."

Honestly speaking, Danny Phantom was not a normal person.

With those abilities, he would be someone to be reckoned with even in a chaotic world like Marvel.

Closing his eyes, David took a seat in the middle of the floor. He cleared his mind of unimportant matters right now and set about the task of just concentrating on his abilities.

His breath caught.

His mind cleared.

The muscles in his body relaxed. The tension that accompanied his shoulders was released from him, throughout his life, he had learned the importance of maintaining a stable mental state. Being an urban hunter only helped him perfect this, after all dealing with the unknown requires nerves of steel, and even with them, it is impossible to remain calm forever.

*Whistle*

The air in the chamber began to move in circles.

While strange electrical sparks were fired from his body. A strange green trail surrounds him, every time he is increasing, it also increases in sync with the air around him.

* Rumbling * * rumbling *

His body began to shudder, little sparkles flashed around him as his body began to disappear by fractions.

Arms, hands, shoulders, one by one of the parts of him disappeared and returned to its place between blinks.

A whining chill echoed through his body.

The temperature inside the chamber dropped dramatically, as a whitish haze billowed from the corners of his lips.

His power had made the interior of the chamber a mess. Books, and clothes flying through the air, drawers next to his bed were forcibly moved by the rush of air.

And then David opened his eyes.

At the same time that a halo of energy manifested around him.

A strange sound resembling yet snapping was present. When the halo split in half, both parts took their bottom-up tour.

The previously brown eyes turned bright green. His clothes took on a ghostly black look, his skin tone turned a bit paler as his brown hair turned metallic white.

Opening his eyes, the strong air suddenly stopped. Leaving the chamber previously filled with still and silent activity. "... This feels ... strange."

Looking at his body David was momentarily static.

Oh, this was not normal.

But with no other option

David was going to make the most of this new opportunity.

——

Queens, New York. Parker residence. September 3, 2005, 7:00 AM

Three days had passed since David was stranded in a fictional world. Not so fictional, being an adaptable person he got used to this reality.

Currently, the body that he stole was on rest for the weekend. He had been absent from school on Friday because he was passed out all day, well honestly David didn't care one bit.

Especially after getting Peter's memories.

This poor guy was a mess.

David had to admit that he had already imagined such a situation, but seeing it in the memories is something else. Peter has nothing to offer socially apart from the incredible brain he is pretty extreme antisocial.

Something different from the movies he had seen. There was no best friend at the moment, even though there was a Harry Osborn in the class he was far from Peter's friend.

In the same way, there was a red-haired Mary Jane very similar to the one in the comics. And well for David it was not difficult to realize that the previous owner of her body was madly in love with her.

Naturally, as was to be expected in any teenage movie, he was barely aware of his existence. If it weren't for the fact that they're neighbors, she probably won't even bother to talk to you.

He also had memory traces of a beautiful, highly intelligent blonde girl.

After another section of meditation, he got up from the ground. He stretched his arms in the air, enjoying the thunder of his joints.

"Why do I have to go back to school?" He asked himself with an annoying voice. Not that he had a problem, with his current intelligence it wouldn't be a problem to jump to college. Even with his previous life as David Echeverría being a smart person, he wouldn't call himself a super genius, but he wasn't that far off either.

Right now David didn't just have the original bait from him. Rather, he had the intelligence of Peter Parker and Danny Phantom, each one a genius in their own right.

Putting the three minds together, David would dare to say that even Tony Stark and Reed Richard together still weren't his equal to him.

"Peter! You're going to be late for school! Hurry up!."

The melodious voice of his aunt brought David back from his narcissistic thoughts.

*Sigh*

Finishing getting ready he adjusted his backpack. "I'm coming Tia May!."

Unfortunately for him in the blink of an eye, the weekend was over. He still couldn't believe that he went from being a famous urban hunter to a teenager with self-esteem and bullying problems. Going down quietly with the backpack on his back. He grabbed one of the toasts his aunt had put on a plate, looked over to where he was moving a spoon into the bowl as she sang a song he had no idea about.

His new aunt was far from looking like a ... well aunt. She was more like a model than anything else, in her previous life the women he met at that age were already more finished.

There was no point in comparison.

David figured this had to be a fantastic effect. Only applicable to fictional worlds, he was sure that in this world most women were very good-looking.

Shaking his head he bit into the freshly applied jam toast and walked to the entrance.

"I'm dating Tia May !."

This she replied with a smile turning around. "Okay, sweetie luck !."

As he left the apartment he took a deep breath, letting the air into his lungs.

He walked around a bit while he admired the city.

The city of Queens was not what he expected. Thanks to his dual ancestry, traveling to the United States was not strange.

He wasn't much of a fan of it but he knew enough about it.

Something good to contribute is the weather.

How cold lover David is naturally appreciative of it.

Wearing a simple black long-sleeved shirt. In blue jeans, he could enjoy the cold air crashing against his body.

As I continued walking not far from his place I could see his first known face of him. A redhead with the body of a goddess was standing on the other side of the street arranging her long hair in a strangely very sexy and charming movement.

"Oh ... It's her."

Taking a moment of appreciation David stared at her.

Not only for her beauty but also for seeing a famous comic book character in the flesh in front of her eyes.

David knew of Peter's feelings for her. But since Peter was gone and his body was now hers.

He had no plans to look like an idiot and be after a woman who to his mind was not worth it.

He didn't feel like going into the tragedy that Peter Parker called life. They leave him, they hate him for doing good, he sacrifices a lot for nothing, or in some other world, his girlfriends die.

He was getting past it.

If he was up to it, they could all go to hell.

David ignored her and kept walking.

With only a few meters to go to the stop, the sun does of an accelerating car stopped near him.

It was a red luxury sports car that had stopped in front of Mary Jane. Between what seemed like a flirtation, in the end, she ended up getting into the car, when she was upstairs, she could see David arriving. With a bit of skepticism, she gave him a weak smile and a cordial greeting.

On the passenger side was a man the same age as Peter blond hair. Chiseled face, and an expression of natural arrogance, he wore the uniform of what looked like a soccer team.

With a glance David or in this case, Peter recognized it immediately.

The favorite idiot in all versions of Peter Parker.

Flash Thompson is kind of a clichéd teenage bully.

As he drove away in the car when Flash saw him, he stuck his middle finger pointing at Peter. "See you, Pito Parker !."

Then he laughed.

"..."

A vein appeared in David's hundred.

Oh ... They were sure to see each other.

David was going to enjoy going to school again.

After boarding the bus and avoiding the classic joke of being tripped over by an idiot sticking his leg in the middle.

This somewhat calmed the sea fumes in David. Instead of falling, he stepped on the idiot's leg, now as he sat quietly you could still hear the cry of pain inside the bus.

Upon arriving at the institute, David was able to realize what he already knew.

Peter was a lonely person he had no friends but that was far from worrying him.

He kept walking until he entered the first class.

Chemistry.

Kind of boring considering all the knowledge of him.

Without needing to pay attention, David let his mind wander.

In these three days after having come to this world by accident.

He had thought about what to do with his situation. It was clear that he couldn't go back, not unless he had something so powerful that he could traverse universes. The infinity gems were a good option, but if they could have such power why had no one done that before.

Throughout the comics, there have been many individuals who managed to obtain the gems, but the most they could achieve was to travel to another world within their universe.

Otherwise, he would have seen travelers in his original world before.

Demon gods, celestials, and all those powerful existences in this universe were in the same situation. This is why he could only wait and see if there would be any chance.

For this reason, he decided to dedicate himself fully to this new life.

He wondered what he wanted to do.

Be a hero?

He honestly doesn't like the idea at all. David doesn't consider himself evil, he was sure of that, but he also didn't like the idea of going around saving everyone dressed in spandex.

The definition of hero and villain crossed a very fine line.

It all depended mainly on personal beliefs. For example, the popular saying is that the hero is always good and the villain will always be bad. In general, this is the case, but there will always be exceptions. David did not feel like going through a whole sociological debate.

He was a simplistic person.

He only cared about his family or those close to him.

The world could go to hell.

As long as his loved ones were fine, nothing else mattered to him.

Of course, it's not like he doesn't help people. He could do it, and he enjoyed it, but David knew that no matter how good his heart was.

He was not a hero.

The only people who deserved help were the truly innocent.

For this, he had intended to simply enjoy this life and help those who deserved it.

Going back to the beginning, for that he would have some ideas. He could join one of the big companies, like Stark Industries or Oscorp. A possible route to take, but quickly denied he didn't know if he could get along with Tony Stark, if it was something similar to the comics there was no way.

If it's like the movies it could work out. But in the end, David discarded it, he was not one of the people who liked to take orders from anyone.

Proud yes, it can be but he knew when, how and with whom to show it.

As for Oscorp good.

There was no need to mention it was automatically ruled out.

Baxter was another home choice for the first Marvel Fantastic 4 family. From what he understood the Baxter building supports young talents to grow, it would be a good idea to start.

Decisions decisions.
