Runt Of The Litter

Beowulf was of an abnormal size -- he was way smaller than all his siblings and members of their pack-- at least that was what his father thought. As alpha of the Sandulf Pack, Saku Sandulf, sidelined and ostracized Beowulf and his twin sister Salome, making them lonely souls. How would the iron-fisted Saku Sandulf take it when his children start to mix with the humans that he had warned them strictly against? How would he react when he learns that his son's mate is a mere human? It was something unheard of -- a human as a mate. What would happen to the precious Sandulf Pack when betrayal sprouts from within the giant wolves' midst? What would happen between the werewolves and the humans when the proud and haughty sole heir to the human kingdom falls in love with one of the forbidden creatures?

Unrequited Love

Nurse Serena and Sally got to the princess's chambers and the Serena waited for sally to get in first. Sally had already told her before they came here that the princess had called and it seemed like she wasn't in a good mood. To  Serena, it was none of her concern and she was more than glad to let Sally get the heat of whatever was annoying the proud princess.

Sally stepped into the chambers and greeted the princess who she met pacing. She swallowed her saliva, her throat dancing with the action as she stepped deeper into the room.

"What is the matter, my dear princess?" Sally asked in an endearing voice. She was anxious but at the same time concerned about the princess, especially with the knowledge of her father just leaving her. However, Sally didn't want to ask about the king yet. Before anything else, Sally wanted to know what was annoying the princess.
