"Are you not unstable?" Roma asked as he supported himself to stand up.

The gray-haired man squeezed hard on the paw he was holding onto. Even though he was only grabbing a small piece of flesh, when he tightened his grip, the woman howled in pain. The human-sized paw shrank and was immediately retracted. The woman also pulled all the way to the very back of her cave, seeming to be afraid.

In the other caves, Roma could hear others squirming as well, trying to stay as far away from the bars as they could. This put his mind at ease.

He was now safe.

I am stable," the demonic beast answered without turning his head.

Roma scoffed. He was too complacent. He saw that the gray-haired man behaved normally, so he assumed the other beasts behaved well, too, that's why he was rather carefree. Now he knew why the other demonic beasts were locked in their own cave.
