Leah [2]: The Date

"I can't believe you left you kid alone among humans, what if something happens to her?" Ethan heard his mom's voice when they were approaching the garden.

"Relax, she'll be fine besides, they should be here in a few minutes" he heard another voice which he assumed was his mom's guest.

When Ethan and Leah go to the garden, they saw two women sitting there calmly drinking tea, well only one of them was calm, Ethan's mom was looking at the woman opposite her with disbelief. Seeing that the other woman had the same features as Leah only more mature, Ethan guessed this was Leah's mom which was proven correct when Leah let go of his hand and ran up to the woman.

"Mom!" she shouted and hugged the woman.

"See, I told you she'll be fine" Lilian said with a smug look on her face while looking at Rhea.

"*sigh* Ethan, come introduce yourself" Rhea said turning to Ethan who walked up to them and introduced himself.

"Hello ma'am, my name is Ethan Goldsworth and I'm 4 years old" he said.

Lilian looked at Ethan wanting to reply to his greeting but was stunned when she looked at the boy, not because of how handsome he was but because of what she saw around him.

"H-he is your kid?" she asked with surprise.

"Yep, handsome, isn't he?" It was Rhea's turn to show a smug face.

"Yes, but what's with the ridiculous amount of mana surrounding him!" Lilian asked.

"Well, we were hoping you had an idea" Rhea said suddenly looking serious.

 "I've never seen something like this in a human before, I know, why don't you let me adopt this child" Lilian suddenly said looking towards him, Ethan could've sworn he saw her drool.

"What? No way" Rhea quickly replied pulling Ethan towards her.

"C'mon Rhee, he'll be treated well by the dragons since he will be adopted by me, their queen" Lilian said.

"No means no, wait, did you just say queen? You were royalty all along" Rhea was surprised by this reveal.

"That's not important, since I can't adopt him, why don't you give him to me as a son-in-law? I'm pretty proud of my daughter's looks since she took after me" Lilian proposed.

After lots and lots of explanations and convincing, Leah found himself engaged to the boy she just met that day but she didn't hate it.

----------------Present Day-------------------

Leah smiled when that memory came to mind and much to maids' relief, she finally chose a beautiful golden dress. Since the clothes were already selected, she had to do her hair and luckily, she had a lot of time because the date was supposed to happen close to during lunch.

Few hours later it was finally time for the date and outside was Ethan who just arrived, he was wearing a comfortable white shirt coupled with black pants which caused Leah to almost drool when she saw him.

Ethan looked up to see Leah coming towards him, she was wearing a golden dress which were a bit above her knee along which left him stunned especially her swaying tail which shows her current mood, he quickly moved towards her.

"You look amazing Leah" he complimented offering her his hand, which caused her to blush.

"Y-you look good too" she replied taking his hand.

He escorted her to the car and then got into the driver's seat and drove away (yes, he also knows how to drive, since it'll be embarrassing for the creator not to know how to).

"Where are we going?" she curiously asked.

"You'll see" he replied with a smile on his face and continued driving.

He drove close to the market and parked close to a restaurant that was close to an alley. Seeing the location, Leah was surprised because this alley was the place they first met.

"Do you remember this place?" Ethan asked seeing her reaction.

"How could I forget the place I first met you" Leah smiled looking at the alley.

"I remember first meeting a cute dragon-girl who was scared of human kids that weren't even a threat to her" Ethan whispered in her ear causing her to flinch due to his hot breath tickling her ear.

"Hmp! I'll have you know that was my first time among humans and those kids looked scary" she said unwilling to fall prey to his teasing.

"Haha, since it's already lunch, let's eat something" Ethan laughed at her reply and pulled her towards the restaurant.

They went into the restaurant which, by the aroma they smelled when they opened the door, definitely served delicious food. They were then approached by a man who, by the looks of it, was the owner.

"Welcome, master Ethan how may we serve you today" the man asked with a warm smile on his face.

"Wait, he knows you" she whispered to Ethan which the man overheard.

"Haha, mistress Leah, I doubt there's anyone in the entire kingdom who doesn't know of master Ethan and his three awesome fiancés but master Ethan helped me in building this restaurant, that's why he is always considered my number one VIP" the man explained.

"We're just here for a simple date Michael" Ethan said to the man.

"We'll make sure to serve you to the best of our ability" Michael said.

Michael really went out of his way to serve them, because as soon as they sat down, they were given what he called 'the couples' secret menu' which was filled with delicious food. He really blew them away with his dishes especially his experimental dessert called 'ice-cream' which was served to them in a single huge cup with two straws. 

By the time they left the restaurant it was already approaching evening and Leah was completely bloated since she was the one who ate most of the food.

"Come back again" Michael stood by the door while waving to them.

"T-that man is evil" Leah said, since Michael was the one who kept bringing more delicious food.

"Haha, I think he was just excited that I came to visit" Ethan laughed "Let's talk a short walk before going back".

"Hmm" Leah agreed not really wanting to go back.

They walked hand in hand through the market and got to a fountain where they spent few minutes before going back to the car. The ride back home was pretty silent, but in a comfortable way. They reached her mansion in a few minutes.

"I had a great time today" Ethan said while holding her hand.

"M-me too" she said.

Ethan then took something from his pocket and handed it to her.

"What's this?" she asked since the object was wrapped.

"Open it and you'll see" he said keeping the smile on his face. Leah then proceeded to unwrap the gift and a bracelet came into view.

"Try saying 'description'" he told her to which she obliged "description" she said making a status screen pop-up from the bracelet.

"Since you guys complain about missing me, and I'll be leaving for a week for my test, I decided to make a special rune which allows us to communicate, do you lik-" he explained but was interrupted by the soft sensation on his lips, Leah kissed him, her lips tasted like the ice-cream they just had and before he could savor it, she broke he kiss and ran inside the mansion.

"I love it" she stopped by the door and said to the stunned Ethan before running inside.

It took him a few minutes before a wide grin found it's way on his face, he entered the car and drove home (definitely in a good mood).
