Glaring Truth

The rest of the day, Dylan helped Riley settle. Even after the boy had urged the other guy several times to go home, Dylan insisted and stayed to help. He remained and had lunch with Riley. And against Riley's advice still stayed after. 

It was already late in the afternoon when they finally finished everything. Cole went out on his own at lunch and informed Riley that he would not return to the dorm that night.

Dylan's incessant chatter and attempt to engage his quiet roommate in a conversation had eventually paid off. After the struggle, Riley finally started to get to know Cole.

Riley later learned that Cole, like him, was originally from the province but had been staying with his uncle in the nearby city until his senior high. He only brought his things today and will return to his uncle's house tonight. He would not be back until the day after tomorrow.
