68 Finding Mates With Fireflies

At first, Riley did not understand what Draco was trying to show him. Then one by one, he saw the little lights fly toward him. His eyes widened.

Fireflies!

There were so many glittering fireflies everywhere he looked; on the trees, the plants near the ground, and around him! They lighted up the mangrove forest, illuminating the trees in the darkness.

"Wow! It's… beautiful!" Riley whispered. His voice was full of wonder. His feet moved on their own to bring him closer to the luminescent bugs. Tilting his face upward, Riley slowly turned, marveling at the beauty of the tiny glows flying around.

Then finally facing Draco, he uttered, "It truly is enchanting!" His emotions were high, and his whole being glowing, literally.

Fireflies surrounded the boy. Their tiny collective lights created a surreal image of Riley standing at the center. His gentle smile and dreamy eyes complemented the vision.

It was truly mesmerizing.
