3 Effective Immediately

Kaleb very much enjoyed his time with Lila for the rest of the day but it was over all too soon and he had to head to Yankee Stadium. He knew he would be getting back late but she didn't care. She still wanted him to come over when he was done so he did. She was dead to the world when he arrived and he smiled seeing her adorable sleeping face and kissed her forehead before climbing in next to her and gathering her up in his arms. 

He woke up later than planned and saw that he had a bunch of missed calls from the team's manager. Oh boy! He hoped he wasn't in trouble. 

Lila was packing things for their trip to the beach and he stepped outside to call the manager back. "…what's up?"

"Kaleb! You're being traded effective immediately."

"Now?! Where to?"
