4 re:Rumia

[5 years later, Rumia's tenth birthday.]

"Happy birthday Rumia!" Vesper and Astoria said in unison and Rumia smiled.

"Thank you, Mom and Dad." Rumia said and Vesper almost bursted into tears.

"It seems like it was just yesterday when she was calling me Papa!" Vesper exclaimed and Astoria agreed.

"Our little girl is growing up right before our eyes." Astoria said with a smile and Rumia had a slight blush. A ding rang throughout the cave and Vesper ran into the kitchen.

"Your birthday dinner being ready by the same time you actually turn 10. 12 AM." Vesper said and the world stopped. Rumia was confused at her parents suddenly freezing and thought it was some sort of prank.

"I know it's my birthday but this isn't funny." Rumia said but she got no answer.

"Fine then. Disintegrate!" Rumia tried using a spell but she couldn't feel her Ethernano.

"What the hell is going on?!" Rumia exclaimed and a white door opened.

"Greetings traveler." A white mass of energy with black spiraling eyes said. When Rumia looked at the being of energy she felt a soul quivering amount of fear.

"My apologies, I forgot to turn down my aura." The being said and Rumia didn't feel so much fear anymore.

"W-Who are you?! What did you do to my parents?!" Rumia spewed out questions and the white being stood there.

"You don't remember? Ah, it slipped my mind." The white being said as they put their hand out. A flow of black energy flew out of their hand and made its way into Rumia's head. Rumia's eyes rolled back and she collapsed on the ground.

"This should take a while." The white being said as they began doing whatever ROB's do.

[Meanwhile, in ?]

"Where am I? Was I captured by that white energy thing?" Rumia looked around and she was in a one-way corridor. Rumia looked behind her and saw the same one-way path.

"Guess there's no way out." Rumia said as she finally realized the gravity of her situation and began crying. Rumia cried for two hours before she decided to girl-up and walk.

"Guess I'll walk north, or what I hope is north." Rumia began walking and she walked and walked. Rumia walked for six hours straight without feeling any fatigue, thirst, or hunger.

"How long is this corridor!? Am I really fated to walk this corridor for eternity?!" Rumia yelled as she began to break down again.

"I didn't even get to say goodbye to my parents. What did I do to deserve this!?" Rumia screamed as she banged her hand on the floor and began crying again.

"To think a relative of mine would be so weak, but what can I expect from a ten-year-old?" A feminine voice said from god knows where. Rumia's tear-ridden face looked up and tried to find the voice.

"Who are you? I wanna go home!" Rumia said as tears began flowing once again.

"I suck with children," the voice said under her breath, "Who am I? You'll have to find out, but I'll give you a way to find me and the reason why 'He' sent you here."

Rumia looked up and saw a trail of lights along the ceiling.

"Sniff, okay!" Rumia got up with a renewed determination and ran along the trail of lights. As Rumia ran along the trail of lights, the ending of the corridor came into sight. Rumia ran faster and ended up in a large marble hall with Greek architecture.

"You've finally made it, Rumia." A beautiful woman said from a giant golden throne. She had long flowing brown hair, beautiful grey eyes with a blue ring surrounding them, and her hourglass figure was dressed in a long flowing white robe covered in golden armor. On her shoulders was a huge white owl with white glowing eyes.

"Are you the voice from earlier?" Rumia asked as she looked at the woman with awe.

"Indeed I am," the woman said as she began to get up, "My name is Ility, Goddess of Life, Destruction, Wisdom, and War."

"Goddess? You mean you're a god?!" Rumia yelled and immediately began to bow.

"Get up child, I don't care for formalities especially in the predicament I'm in." Ility said and Rumia rose to her feet.

"Now before we start, I need to return what was taken from you by 'Him'," Ility said as her eyes began to turn blue and her hands were enveloped by a green light, "I command you, return all that has been taken from Rumia, Reconstruct Memory!" A wave of green light shrouded Rumia's figure and minutes later it broke like glass.

"What the fuck?" Rumia's ten-year-old mouth cursed. Rumia looked at her body and then at Ility.

"I assume you unlocked my memories with magic?" Rumia asked and Ility nodded.

"Why are you so calm? Shouldn't you be panicking considering your last memory was your death?" Ility asked and Rumia shook her head.

"No, I never had a last memory. What I can sum it up to is my physical body died but my conscience never did. I think that white being of light transported my conscience into this version of Rumia. Considering I was just a conscience life felt like I was in a cage. For the first year or so, I denied everything but I eventually accepted the fact that I was a prisoner in someone else's body. That is until you unlocked that cage, allowing me and other Rumia to merge. This is my true reincarnation." Rumia explained sounding a lot older than she looked.

"That's sick, I knew 'He' was an asshole but not to this level." Ility said and Rumia shrugged.

"I don't care anymore, now onto more pressing matters. You said 'My relative' does that mean I am related to you in some way?" Rumia asked and Ility put a hand on her chin.

"I guess kinda? I mean you were my daughter on Earth but we don't have any blood relation, yet." Ility said and Rumia almost broke into tears.

"You mean to tell me you were my mother on Earth? Does that mean I was technically a demigod in my past life?" Rumia asked and Ility shook her head.

"No, I sealed my divinity when I was on Earth. I wanted a break from being a goddess so I decided to marry a mortal and have a mortal daughter." Ility said and Rumia looked slightly disappointed.

"Damn, I could have been a demigoddess," Rumia said under her breath, "You said we are not blood relatives yet. What do you mean by that?"

"Well, I want to make you related to me again. I still think of you as my daughter. Only if you're willing though, I won't make you related to me forcefully." Ility said and Rumia thought about it.

"Doesn't that mean I'll become a demigod? If I was sent back to the Fairy Tail world, I would be stronger than anyone in that world wouldn't I?" Rumia asked and Ility smiled.

"You already have two of my abilities, my eyes, and my magic albeit a weaker version. Those two would make you incredibly overpowered once you grew up, so it's not that bad and who said you're going back to the Fairy Tail world?" Ility said with a smile and Rumia laughed.

"I'll accept your offer! Though I would prefer that I grow into my demi-goddess powers." Rumia said and Ility shook her head.

"You won't be a demigoddess, you'll be a full Goddess. You'll have to find out what your divinity is on your own though." Ility said and Rumia had a look of confusion.

"Why would I be a full goddess? I'm a mortal gaining the blood of a Goddess wouldn't that make me a demigoddess?" Rumia asked and Ility shook her head.

"If you were a regular mortal totally but you are half Phoenix which is a divine creature. My blood will absorb your human blood and combine with your Phoenix blood." Ility said and Rumia smiled once again.

"Does that make me like a half goddess half Phoenix? That's cool!" Rumia said and Ility laughed.

"Genetically you would be a half goddess half Phoenix but by God standards, you would be a complete Goddess," Ility said as she summoned a yellow spear and cut off her entire arm only for it to heal microseconds later, "Now let's begin the ritual."

"I need you to hold my arm. I know it's weird holding an amputated limb but it's necessary." Ility said and Rumia begrudgingly grabbed the arm.

"I have to warn you that you will feel an immense amount of pain almost like someone is trying to skin you alive while sowing you back together," Ility said and Rumia almost dropped the arm out of fear, "And as per request, I'll let you grow into your Goddess abilities. I've created 7 seals that will break over the span of 35 years, these seals can break for a temporary amount of time if you really need the power. The drawback of breaking a seal before its time is dangerous so I advise you not to do that."

Rumia exhaled and nodded her head.

"Well, then let's begin." Ility's right hand was covered in a red light and her left hand was covered in a green light.

"Με τη θέλησή μου, Θεά της Ζωής και της Καταστροφής, δίνω εντολή σε αυτές τις δυνάμεις να δέσουν το αίμα μου και να ρέουν μέσα από τη Ρουμία, την κόρη μου!" Ility said in Greek and the arm Rumia was holding merged with her and she began to float in the air.

"AHHHHHH!!" Rumia screamed as her body literally began to rebuild itself. Rumia's snow-white hair began to turn navy blue, her brown skin stayed the same but was smooth like jade, her golden eyes turned a shade darker making them orange along with having her pupils turn into small crosses. Rumia's ten-year-old body also began to grow slightly making her look around twelve years old. The wings on her back grew large and burned with gracefulness.

After an hour of excruciating pain, Rumia floated to the ground and panted.

"Congratulations on becoming a Goddess, sorta." Ility said as she clapped her hands and Rumia looked at her new body.

"You upped my age?" Rumia asked and Ility nodded.

"Only by two years, it fits you." Ility said as she summoned a white robe with bits of golden armor along with four large rings.

"This robe and these rings are created by me to help contain and control your magic and Goddess abilities." Ility said and Rumia put on the robe and placed each large ring around her hands and feet.

"Control my magic? What do you mean? I think my magic is pretty controlled." Rumia said and Ility chuckled.

"Before you turned into a Goddess, I'll let you see for yourself." Ility clapped her hands and they were in a mountainous area. Ility snapped and Rumia's rings disappeared. As soon as the rings came off, the entire mountain was reduced to nothing. Rumia's body had a yellow outline and the rocks around her body were either destroyed or reconstructed.

"Oh-" Rumia's sentence was cut off as her body was covered in flames that were hot enough to melt the ground and turn it into lava.

"See? Out of control, those rings help contain your wild magical abilities." Ility said as she put Rumia's rings back on. She snapped her fingers and they were back in the throne room.

"One final gift before you leave." Ility said as she summoned six navy blue boxes with eyes in the middle of them. Rumia watched as the boxes surrounded her.

"These boxes can be summoned with this," Ility summoned a golden metal eye that attached itself to Rumia's forehead, "That metal eye will summon the boxes. Those boxes can store just about anything, even people. Two of those boxes are filled with weapons and divine martial arts and spells."

Rumia's eyes began to water and she hugged Ility as she cried. Ility patted her back until she stopped crying.

"Hehe, sorry about that. It's just that you've been doing so much for me in my past life and even now. I never got to say goodbye last time, but now I have the opportunity to say goodbye now." Rumia said and Ility's smile was full of motherly love.

"You are my first and only child, I don't think I could love another child as much as I do you Rumia." Ility said as a portal began to open.

"I don't know what world you will be transported to but I want you to know that after the second seal breaks, you can visit me in my domain at any time," Ility said as Rumia began to go through the portal, "Goodbye Rumia, I stay safe and I hope to see you again."

"Goodbye, mother." Rumia waved goodbye as the portal took her.
