16 Chapter 16:- Freya, Goddess of love

Selene understanding what Freya was going to do, she shouted to stop Freya. "Hey wait!!!" However, Freya did not stop. Freya opened her arms and was about to hug Aditya but he stopped her there.

"Even though I appreciate a beautiful goddess like yourself coming to hug me, I think you should respect yourself." First of all, Aditya did not even know who this woman was. Seeing this woman's interaction with Selene, it was clear that this woman named Freya was a goddess. But goddess or not, it felt kind of strange to be hugged by a woman you just met.

"What" Both Freya and Selene felt like they were hit by lightning hearing Aditya's words. Both goddesses looked at with their eyes wide open. It was as if they were seeing something out of this world.

"No! Why can charm can't affect you?" Freya took a few steps back while looking at Aditya like she was looking at some monster. There wasn't any fear in her eyes, her eyes were rather filled with absolute shock and disbelief.

"Aditya, do you really not want to hug Freya?" Selene's question made Aditya frown.

"What are you saying?" Instead of replying to Aditya, both goddesses exchanged gazes. After an entire minute of silence, Freya and Selene finally regained their calmness.

Freya slightly smiled while staring at Aditya. "It seems this mortal's soul is very special. Not only that, it seems the Moon Goddess has also blessed this mortal. Even more special than the soul of the Gods. Interesting." Freya's stare made Aditya feel as if his entire body was naked. Even though he was wearing clothes, he felt as if Freya was able to through his clothes.

"Fu! Fu! Selene, dear do you mind telling me from where you found this mortal? To think a mortal could resist my charm, I guess, you're a rare gem after all." Even though Freya has lost her powers, as the Goddess every human that sees her will be naturally charmed. Although the power of charm won't be as frightening as it was when Freya had her full power, her charm is still powerful enough to influence the mind of beings that does not hold any hostility toward her.

Both Freya and Aditya thought that Aditya would let Freya hug him and wouldn't do anything. Freya's charm is totally passive. Only the people who are stronger and are at a higher level than Freya can ignore the effect of the passive charm. And Freya's current level is 15.

Aditya took a good look at Freya's appearance. Freya had long silver-white hair that reached down her waist. She had purple gem-like eyes that seems to have the ability to see through anything. Unlike Selene who was wearing a Kimono, Freya was wearing a black shirt and black skirt with black leggings that covered her legs.

The rain had drenched her body wet. Her shirt and skirt were tightly sticking to her body; highlighting her curves. Freya's breasts looked slightly bigger than Selene's while she had a narrow waist and wide hip. She is the kind of beauty that had the power to lit the fire of lust in any man.

"What are you doing here? Why haven't you died yet?" Selene asked while glaring at Freya. The Moon Goddess was not happy when Freya tried to hug the mortal that she blessed. When Freya approached Aditya, Selene felt as if she was about to lose something that was her.

"My...my!! Selene Dear, there is no need to be this angry. I am not going to steal the mortal that you have personally blessed." As a goddess, Freya could sense if a mortal is blessed by any God or Goddess.

Seeing Selene still glaring at her, Freya pretended to be hurt. She put her hand above the heart and looked at Selene with a painful look as if Selene had bulled her many times in the past. "Your angry stare is hurting my feelings."

"Hmph! Stop pretending you Sl*t and answer my damn questions." This was the first time Aditya was seeing Selene looking so triggered.

"I am not sure. When I woke up, I found myself in a high school. It seems while our bodies were sealed, our bodies were floating around the world. As for why I haven't died, Selene dear you and I had the same amount of power. If you're alive, it's natural that I will also be alive. Though sadly I have lost all of my powers."

"Hold on. I have doubt."

"What is it?" Selene asked before Freya could take this chance to speak with Aditya.

"How exactly were the two of your bodies floating?"

"Every one of us sealed ourselves in a coffin. These coffins were really special. These coffins would remain invisible and also untouchable. Not only that, these coffins had the power to protect us even from a 7th-tier being. While we were in a deep sleep, these coffins were floating around the planet."

"When mana invaded earth, these coffins opened up. While I found myself on an unfamiliar road with thousand of zombies, Freya found herself on the roof of a school. It was my fortune that I was able to meet you as soon as I managed to wake up."

"Unfortunately I wasn't that lucky. All the students had been turned into a zombie. It is because of my charming ability that I somehow managed to get out of school at night times and escape." In fact, it wouldn't be wrong to say that Aditya was the first human and mortal Freya has met in one billion years.

"I was hiding inside these strange-looking houses when I heard a loud explosion sound. When I came here, I found you."

"I see. No wonder why you reached level 15 this quickly. I bet you used your charming power to control the zombies and then killed them." Freya nodded her head with a smile.

"Currently I can only charm up to level 5 beings without needing to use mana. While using mana, I can temporarily charm even a level 10 zombie. It is also possible for me to charm even a level 15 being but the effect of charm will remain only for a few seconds."

"I don't think it's a good idea to let someone who you just met know about your abilities. There is no telling when I might backstab you." Aditya tested Freya by warning her in a cold and threatening tone.

Most humans will either bow before me or worship, but you're different." While saying these words Freya started walking up to Aditya. Freya instead of replying to Aditya's question, dodged the question.

"To think that other than Hades, I will see a human of all races possessing undead ability. It seems your soul is truly special. It makes me wonder what kind of secret your soul is hiding." Freya stood right in front of Aditya. There was only 10 inches gap between them. As Freya had the same height as Selene, Aditya had to look down to look at her face.

"I will give you an offer. Why don't you become mine?" Freya playfully smiled and asked.

"Excuse me?"

"There is no need to shy mortal. I will give you my blessing. All you will have to do is just follow me and protect me. In this life, you will have anything that you wish. If you want to become handsome, my blessing can do it. If you want a harem, my blessing can do it. If you want strength, my blessing can do it. I assure you that following me will ensure you endless wealth, woman, and power. You can become the king or the Emperor."

"All you need to do is take my hand. You will have everything that you desire in life. Not only that if you manage to please me I might even give you my first time." Which man can remain cold and unmoved even after hearing these words from the Goddess of Love herself? The answer is no one. Aditya was very tempted to take the offer but after looking at Freya for a few seconds in silence, he simply glanced at Selene.

Looking at Selene, Aditya for some reason saw the goddess standing there under the rain with a lonely and sad look on her face. Seeing her like that, Aditya felt his heart aching. He was sure that he hasn't developed any romantic feelings for Selene or anything. But he wasn't the type of man who was going to abandon everything that helped him survive. Aditya may be a cold, ruthless person but he never was an ungrateful person. Even if Selene loses as status as the Moon Goddess along with her powers, Aditya would still stay by her side and keep protecting her.

Looking at Selene, Aditya already knew the answer in his heart. After looking at Selene for 5 seconds, Aditya looked at Freya and simply said. "Thank you for such a tempting offer but I am happy with what I currently have. I will take care of this useless goddess. I have promised her that I will protect her. I intend to carry out my promise."

"Hmph! Who are you calling useless?" Selene snorted and then looked away in anger. But deep down, she was really glad that Aditya did not choose Freya over her. Now she was sure that no matter what happens, this mortal will never abandon her.

Meanwhile, Freya took a few steps back with a playful smile. "Aditya, I am curious what made you choose Selene over me?" This time Freya called Aditya by his name. There was respect and admiration in Freya's voice. In front of the Goddess of love, no man, no matter how loyal that man is, could never remain calm. Every male that has looked at Freya had been charmed by her. But this mortal not only managed to remain unaffected but was also able to overcome the temptation of taking her first time and refusing her.

"As I told you before, I had given my promise to this tsundere Goddess." Aditya pretended as if he was forced to protect Selene.

"Tsundere Goddess? Hahaha!!!! I guess this is a good nickname for Selene." Seeing the Goddess of love laughing at her, Selene felt very angry. She glared at Aditya this time for calling her Tsundere Goddess.

"Don't look at me like that. I mean I know that I am handsome but if you keep staring at me like that you will end up falling for me." Selene and Freya both rolled their eyes at the same time.

"Hmph! You're shameless." Julia snorted before starting to walk back into the building. She wanted to take some rest and recover her mana before they started fighting again.

"You have convinced me?" Both Selene and Aditya looked at Freya.

"Of what?"

"I will be joining your group. I hope the two of you will take care of me from now on." Freya politely bowed her head in Aditya's direction.

"Hell no. I don't welcome you here at all." Selene acted fiercely as if afraid her territory will be taken by her rival.

"I don't need you welcome. I was just letting you know. As long as you, Aditya welcome me it will be more than enough."

"You..."

"Aditya, we're not going to let Freya enter our group." Aditya looked at the two goddesses, one was the goddess of love and the other was the goddess of Moon cat fighting. He was stuck in the middle.

Sigh!
