Chapter-17[Goblin's Den-5, Return]

With the sword in his hand and five fire bullets manifested around him to attack the enemy at any time.

'More than five and I can't concentrate on the fight...' Kyle thought while his eyes completely focus on the hobgoblins coming his way.

In a minute, the hobgoblins reach his position and Hobgoblin A starts to run while making a punch towards Kyle.

The other hobgoblin, Hobgoblin B also starts to run in his direction with a cub in its hand and giving a war cry.

Kyle dodges the punch from Hobgoblin A and shot two fire bullets directly in the chest of hobgoblin A, making a small impact and a little wound but not too much.

Kyle shot the other three bullets at the face of hobgoblin B who dodges two of them but one hit the right cheek, completely ripping it apart. Blood flows from that wound and the hobgoblin B cries in pain, but Kyle wasn't able to see that as the hobgoblin A started attacking Kyle.

After fighting with the Hobgoblins, where both of them had injuries all over their bodies from some sword marks and fire marks from fire bullets.

Kyle after some time sees an opportunity as the speed of both Hobgoblins started to decrease with each attack they get and made one of the fire bullets beside him shoot directly in the mouth of hobgoblin A who opened it wide enough to give a warcry. The fired bullet exploded in the mouth of the hobgoblin, killing it.

'It is way too difficult to kill them while trying to get injured as little as possible.' Kyle thought while his eyes focuses on the other hobgoblin who started to show a scared expression seeing the death of his companion.

Kyle using that as a chance ran straight to the hobgoblin and beheaded its neck, without even giving it a chance to retaliate.

Kyle then without stopping took his dagger out and started to take the finger size magic core from both Hob goblin's bodies and started to run from there.

'Other monsters will definitely make their way towards there from all the noises that happen during the fight and from the blood...my whole body feels sore from the impacts given by those two, I need to get out of this dungeon. I can't fight that many stronger monsters without stronger skills and some more practice with any weapon.' Kyle thought while running.

This fight let him realize his mistake of getting this deep in the dungeon without making proper preparations and not only that, he had no skill in rankings of D-rank or higher, or his own skill is still low level.

After running for a while and coming out of the forest, Kyle stops and rest on the ground.

"Huff...huff...It feels refreshing to fight but it also let me know the dangers more clearly now...I should have worked as a porter to have more knowledge about the monsters." Kyle says while thinking about the fact that he could have worked any other job during the past where he could gain experience seeing others fighting stronger monsters.

Kyle ignores the thing which he just heard as he is still sane and not a fool. With a method to become strong in his hands now, how could he work for others?

Kyle then takes the sword that worked with him to this floor and saw it full of chips and a crack forming on the upper side of the blade which happens during the last fight. The neck of the Hobgoblin was too hard to be sliced by a sword taken from a low-level goblin.

"But, you will become my first moment." Saying that Kyle puts the sword back in the inventory and starts running back to the upper floor, to get out of this dungeon.

'I will clear this dungeon...but I need to make preparations first...' Kyle thought while looking at the floor one last time before walking back through the stairs.

After 3 hours, Kyle claimed out the last floor and reached the First floor.

Upon walking towards the gate, he noticed the two hunter girls that he saved standing beside the gate, and along with them are many other hunters standing there, and there seem to be some high-ranking hunters present there too. He also notices the two other women there sitting on the ground, being covered in blankets while some female hunters stay around the women to make sure they stay safe and to look for any of their needs.

Kyle ignoring them starts to walk towards the portal but stops as a red-haired man gets in his way.

"Mister, can't you see that we have some problem here and help us?" The man says in a righteous tone while puffing his chest with pride.

Kyle observes the man for a moment and saw his eyes dart towards the two women that he saved before...'So, he is trying to hook up...but can't he look for someone else to trouble..?'

"I am busy, and accidents happening are normal in the dungeon so don't block my path," Kyle says in a cold tone.

Others hunters look at Kyle with a frown, 'Can't he show a little sympathy?!'

Kyle ignoring the look he is getting shows an impatient expression, 'I need to hurry. I am already very late and I don't want to make others worried about me.'

The red-haired man hearing Kyle's words frown but it quickly turns into anger as he stepped forward and grabbed Kyle but the collar and looks into Kyle's eyes but not more than a second with how cold they turned and turns his head sideways before looking at Kyle's face but his eyes never looked into the eyes.

"Can't you see that they had gone through an accident!? How could you even say the words like that???!! You are nothing more than a Coward!!" The man screams at Kyle in anger.

'WTF is wrong with this person..?' Kyle thought silently while trying to keep himself calm.

Kyle then put his both hands on the man's wrists and forcibly put them down making the man scream in pain.

*AHHH!!*

Other hunters showed a surprised expression as they only thought of Kyle as a low-ranker with his outfit and the man, James, he just did that is a D-Rank hunter who is about to become a C-Rank one.

Kyle then loosened his grip and then releases it. James crouched down while holding his hands tightly and looks at Kyle with his eyes bloodshot red, but before he could speak, Kyle crouches in front of him, looking directly into his eyes.

"Show your hero act to those who appreciate it. I am not one of those people." Kyle says slowly and coldly sending shivers down James' spine.

The other hunters along with the girls took a step back hearing Kyle's words, except one girl who looks to be around 18 years old, having same red hair as James.

The girl runs to Kyle's right side with a saber in her hand, and her eyes show determination to bisect Kyle into two pieces. The girl's speed is way too fast, that even Kyle would have a problem if he still had his strength sealed and hadn't gone to the dungeon. But having all of his strength along with the experience from the dungeon makes it easier for Kyle to dodge.

Kyle quickly takes a step back, making the saber hit the ground and the girl also slams herself to the ground, but before she could fall, Kyle lightly pushed her to the side, making her fall on top James as to make sure that her body don't fall over the saber which got stuck on the ground.
