"Ma'am we think we have him" Taylor told her.

"Show me" Adeline ordered and they pulled up an exact photo of John next to his full name and details.

"His name is John Michael Smith" Taylor told her.

"Do you recognize him ma'am?" Pierce asked.

"It's him" Adeline deeply sighed.

"He's married to Elizabeth Smith. He has two children, daughters. Alexis is 15 and Hazel is 7. He is a therapist, mainly a marriage counsellor" Taylor told her.

"His mother, Marie, died when he was 12, she was strangled the police were called by a neighbour, she had been dead for three days. At the time John said that it was one of her male friends and that when he came home one day she was already dead. There was ejaculation on her chest but they didn't know who's it was. They didn't suspect child abuse" Abbot told them.

"Ask Cassandra to pull the coroner's report and test it against the sample that was taken from me" she ordered, using her sisters full name instead of her nickname for her.

"John was moved around a lot as a kid, but none of it was because of him. He did a stint in the army. He doesn't own a car but his wife does. His wife is a dinner lady at their youngest daughters school" Pierce told them.

"We need to find out what he was doing after his mother's death to sustain himself. We also need to get the photo of him out there, see who knows him" Adeline ordered "Let's see what we can pull up" Adeline ordered them sending them all off in different directions.

"Abbot, talk to his wife. Tell her we think that John worked with the latest victim and that we need to speak to him. But don't spook her. Take Pierce with you, she's sweet" Adeline ordered.

"Yes ma'am" he smiled, heading off.

"Ma'am, apparently his daughter was at home watching her little sister when he committed the murders. His wife said that he does the Nightshift for the ChildLine hotline" Abbot explained.

"Should we collect her from school ma'am?" Pierce asked.

"No, call the mother ask her to bring her in. Make it seem routine, don't scare them" Adeline ordered.

"Ma'am we've just finished interviewing the eldest daughter. She said her father was with her for Amber's murder but she said he was at work for the other murders" Abbot told her.

"She lied for him" Adeline said in shock.

"I don't understand, why would she lie for him?" Pierce asked.

"She loves him. He's her father, she doesn't believe that he could do something so horrific to other women, women that she may grow up to be" Adeline explained, drifting off into a world of her own before quickly snapping out of it "Good work" she weakly smiled at them both before heading to her office.

"Ma'am, we've just gotten word that John hasn't shown up to work. He also lied to his wife about working on the hotline at night" Abbot told her.

"He's probably gone into hiding. Good work" Adeline said and Abbot nodded in response before leaving her office.
