Chapter 29: Visit by the Gang Leader

After logging out of the game, Jiang Ming sat up quickly and heard someone knocking on the door.

"Who is it?"

Jiang Ming yelled as he got off the bed. He walked to the door and unlocked it.

After the door was opened, there was a tall, well-built man standing outside the door.

'This person was a soldier before!' Looking at the muscles of the burly man in front of him and the unique tattoos on his neck that indicated his arm of the service, he made the judgement immediately. After all, he played some CSs before in which certain troops had this kind of tattoos on the body, which was why he deduced that this person had been a soldier.

Not only that, but he also felt an aura of fierce hostility from the man in front of him. This person should have killed someone before, and probably a lot of people at that.

The burly man was very masculine with a scar on the corner of his eye, which added some kind of brutality to his appearance. However, his smile seemed a little uncoordinated in Jiang Ming's eyes.

"Are you Jiang Ming?" The burly man looked at Jiang Ming and asked with a slight smile on his face.

Jiang Ming nodded and looked at him, a little confused. "Yes, but who are you?"

"Nice to meet you." The burly man's eyes lit up and his smile broadened as he stretched out his hand. "My name is Shao Long, I am the leader of the White Dragon Gang."

"White Dragon Gang?" Jiang Ming was taken aback for a moment. What happened last night suddenly struck his mind. 'Weren't the three gangsters I had beaten up from the White Dragon Gang? But why did he come to me, could it be because of what happened yesterday?' Chikage, who was asleep, heard the sounds and slowly opened its eyes. Seeing Shao Long standing in front of Jiang Ming, a slight curve suddenly emerged at the corner of its mouth. It leaped off the bed and landed on Jiang Ming's shoulder. Its pair of cat eyes stared straight at Shao Long.

Shao Long, who was about to speak, retracted his words when he saw Chikage. His body trembled slightly, and a trace of doubt and fear began to show in his eyes. The change in his expression was imperceptible, so Jiang Ming did not notice it.

"Brother Jiang Ming, can we find a place to chat?" Shao Long withdrew his gaze from Chikage and said to Jiang Ming with a smile.

"What is there to talk about between us?" Although Jiang Ming did not see the look in Shao Long's eyes, he could tell that Shao Long was a little uncomfortable upon seeing Chikage. This made him a little puzzled. 'Perhaps it was the sudden appearance of the black cat that surprised him.' He thought to himself.

After hearing Shao Long's words, Jiang Ming looked at him and his two subordinates, and then at the stacks of banknotes in the suitcases that his subordinates held. If anyone saw this, there would really be a misunderstanding. They might even think that the two of them were delivering 'goods'.

Jiang Ming brought Chikage into Shao Long's Land Rover which drove off quickly.

On the other hand, Shao Long looked at Chikage through the rearview mirror as his thoughts rewound to yesterday.
