19 The boss

"I didn't miss the moment. Now!" he shouted to himself.

CRITICAL HIT!

Many of Volkner's attacks were considered critical. He predicted where The Meowth would try to move and executed his attack right where it went. His year-long training, which required sweat and blood, was paying off.

'The work becomes easier when they are in status conditions' He jotted it down in his mind.

"Yatz! Yatz!"

Rapid battle cries came from his mouth. He was immersed in his own struggle, maintaining eye contact with the foxes and brandishing his sword mercilessly.

Vanessa and Ray laughed at the comical sight of Volkner acting and looking so serious. Suddenly, the Mewoth's paw scratched his chest.

"Volkner!"

Weed's torso glowed red. Then, he noticed that even before noticing the attack, his life gauge dropped.

"…"

'I was careless, I'm not fighting a human'

Volkner called to Seera, who was containing the other mob.

"Sera my friend"

"Yes, Volkner?"

"What is your life?"

"It's 130. Why?"

"Oh nothing. I'm just curious."

A Mewoth could deal a maximum of 30 damage. Helpless, Volkner had to absorb all the damage, but his health was above fifty.

"Are you sure it's okay?"

"Yes. So you keep drawing Mewoth. And Parker, can you shoot Meowth from a distance to lure them here?"

Before long, Volkner assumed the role of party leader. He took all his time watching them and analyzed every attribute of their pokemons and their owners' sense of judgment.

"Sure."

"So Parker, please help Seera bring the Mewoth's here."

Volkner moved wildly. When Seera ran back along with her pokemon, taking damage from a Mewoth that was smarter and was trying to specifically attack Seera, he quickly took care of that.

Those Mewoth drawn to Patker's arrows immediately fell to his sword, only to disappear in a flash of gray. Volkner noted that his pokemon had reached level 11. He decided to invest all the bonus points in agility.

Volkner had released his pokemon on top of a nearby tree. Even if he didn't attack, he would still gain experience points for volkner's contribution.

The higher the agility, the easier it is to dodge an enemy attack and the more likely you are to hit the enemy. It is directly related to evasion and accuracy.

'I have to improve and improve his qualities, as long as he is not hit too easily... IT WILL BE STRONG!' Volkner laughed.

The iron sword in Volkner's possession was wonderful for a novice, providing extra leverage of strength.

The hunt continued. Excited by the fast pace, Ray and Vanessa couldn't believe their luck. They had never experienced such a fantastic hunt.

"Seera, bring more Mewoth here."

"Exactly. Leave it to us. You can focus entirely on the bait."

"Okay, Unnie."

Seera was busy drawing the cats to them. So was Parker.

If Volkner had hunted alone, he would have had to roam in search of easy target monsters and often rest to replenish his stamina when he ran out. Instead, his group provided bait and high damage, as well as stun and blink, trap. which arguably accelerated the pace of the hunt.

It's not like a single piece.

When Volkner played The Continent of Magic, he was always surrounded by monsters.

Volkner used to walk into a dungeon populated by monsters and fight them as he pleased. He had logged days and nights until he ran out of potions and herbs.

The inventory was overloaded with so many items that it interfered with his movement. Monsters surprised him everywhere. Volkner had fought in a circle of monsters.

He had killed so many, and in return he had been killed so many times.

Volkner felt that a group game was far from what he used to play. It was more effective, and he was having more fun. His strategy soon backfired.

"Kyah!"

Seera made a deadly mistake. When she tried to attract a Mewoth, she unintentionally caught the attention of a Persian.

As she tried to run away, Seera yelled, "Run, everyone!"

Growl

The Persian was chasing Seera on all fours. His monstrous snout was dripping with saliva. Anger was written all over his face.

While the rest faltered, Seera was constantly assaulted by the Persian. He was faster than a Mewoth, easily closing in on her. She looked hopeless.

"Ekans, use poison!" Despite his attempt, the feline was not hit and dodged gracefully. Seera was screaming as she ran with her Ekans wrapped around her neck.

"I will rescue her. You should all run away. By the power of arceus, Pigdey use your best Sand Attack!"

Vanessa, the support, rejected the urge to run for her life and cast sand attack repeatedly to block the persian's vision and disrupt their pursuit of Seera.

"Damn it!"

After a moment of indecision, Parker began shooting arrows at the wolf. "Spearow, use Leer and growl"

One, two, three shots. As soon as he loaded an arrow into his bow, he fired. The multiple shots, his signature skill, flew at the wolf, but he barely flinched. Even with your defense reduced.

Now that the wolf had registered the entire pack as his enemy, he would end up attacking Vanessa and Parker after finishing off Seera.

So what would Volkner do? He took hold of the iron sword and took a step forward.

Can I do this? Why not! At first glance, the wolf's teeth and claws looked menacing.

Volkner had bet the Persian would throw its heavy weight on him and, instead of scratching, would bite him in a crazed way.

"You'd better deal with me before anyone else," Volkner said, standing in the Persians way.
