New kitchen maid

Four years later

"Princess Elizabeth you have to get ready for school" said one of her court ladies. She woke up and looked outside and looked out at the view that beamed in her face as she got up to sit in bed. Elizabeth lived in a giant castle and lived in one of the richest places while those who had almost nothing lived on the other side of town in the poor village.

She got ready and went downstairs. "Breakfast is ready Princess Elizabeth" said one of the chefs, that had waiting for her.

"Where are father and mother?" I asked but I already knew the answer.

"They're out for charity and will not come back until tonight princess" said the chef and I nodded.

I ate my breakfast and got ready for school. In North Bear High School, we have uniformed so no one is really convicted. The girls wore a blue skirt and a t-shirt or a white trouser while the guys got black pants and a white shirt or a white t-shirt.

I finally got to school after a while and got out of my carriage, I just walked into the school and met my "friends". They were not actually my friends, but we were all royals and must not be near servants, slaves or the poor who do not have a special title, so they were the only people I only surrounded myself with.

"Princess Elizabeth" Bowed a girl as a greeting.

"Lady Diana a pleasure" I said, bending back with a little smile back. Lady Diana was actually the only one I only liked of all the other girls, she was different but did not show it often because she was afraid of being judged.

"Have you seen Lord Elton, he looks good enough refreshing today" said Lady Diana and turned completely red in the head. Lady Diana liked Lord Elton and hopes that one day he will take her hand as a bride ... if he ever notices her.

"No, I have not seen Lord Elton today, but it is probably clear if you have discovered his presence" I said, trying my best not to sound awkward. The bell rang and the prayers came. We seriously had a line in the middle, so to the right we had royal people, while the poor had their side. We never had a class with each other and in the canteen, we had our own tables.

"Is Lord William still gone" Diana asked and I nodded quietly.

"I got a letter from him that he will be home soon from his journey" I said.

"What did you say to me?" Shouted a person and everyone's attention in the hallway was directed over there.

"Sorry Lord James, it was not on purpose I hit in you" said a little boy, bowing several times in respect.

"You must be punished," shouts Lord James again. People led him away, but there was one who stopped and shouted back.

"Take me and let the boy be, he is new, he should not be punished the first day of school, especially not by you," the person shouted again.

"Aiden Falk, have you not been punished enough this week, or have I been wrong," said Lord James with a smiling face.

"I do not care about the punishment you know, it does not bother me anymore" said Aiden, and I still do not understand why protect a boy you do not even know, but that he is a kind of person. Since Aiden left the castle I have not spoken to him since and I probably have no plans to do that he was right he is just a servant's son.

"Princess Elizabeth, we have class now come they" Diana asked me, I nodded weakly before going to our rightful class.

The day went by and school was already over and I was driven home with the cart.

"Princess Elizabeth, you must help choose your new kitchen maid," said my servant. I went into the kitchen and already saw 10 women in a row.

"They were the best I could find only from the village, and they each made a dish for you to taste" said the servant.

I tasted the food and none of them caught my interest, no taste no joy over them, I had reached the last one. It was my favorite beautiful homemade prom fritters and sausages cut into cubes, the last time I ate something similar was four years ago. "Princess Elizabeth, you are not fit to eat t-" I held my hand in front of the servant's face to prevent him from speaking anymore.

"Have you worked here before?" I asked as I looked at the food. "Yes Prinssese seven years ago but was fired four years ago" I looked up at her when I heard what she was saying. She knows me.

"She's hired and make sure she has a place to stay at the castle and take the food up to my room," I said, looking further at her. "But Princess Elizabeth, we have no room soon," said the servant.

"So fired one of the old kitchen maid, I already have one now and make sure to find two rooms for her son too" I said and was on my way out.

"Sorry Princess Elizabeth but how did you know she had a son" said the Servant and had a questioning look.

"You fired find me another servant who does not ask personal questions again" I said and had go upstairs to my room.

When I got to my room, I closed the door and slowly slid down. They left, they know me, he knows me but he hurt me, he made me lose all my joy for the world again.

I touched my neck and picked up something that was hidden so you could not just see it. The necklace he gave me. I took the necklace of quickly and walk over to my table where i found a red box and put the necklace inside of it and putting it away.I got up and went to my bed and looked out the window. The people down there lost hope for the King and Queen, and I just did nothing.

I heard a knock on the door and looked towards the door. "Princess your food as you asked for" I recognized the voice.<i> Aiden</i>

The door was opened and there he was. "I thought Miss Falk would come with the food I asked for," I said, watching him put the food on my table.

"I was told that I should live here too, so I help my mother just as well, thank you for letting us live here princess" he said bowing. He looked around a bit before our eyes met. He was still wearing his uniform.

I studied him a little, his honey-brown eyes and dark brown hair, his sharp jaw and trained body, if he was royal, everyone would come after him. I looked more at his face and discovered he had a wound.

I got up and was about to say something, but I immediately regret it. "Princess Elizabeth I think I must go now" He said, I nodded and I sat down on my bed again. "You must have a good evening Princesse," he said, closing the door. I looked at my food and started eating.

After I finished I prayed and put on my nightgown and wrote in my journal and a little about my homework. I heard the door open and there came my court ladies. "Sorry for the inconvenience, we just want to make sure that if you need anything, is their highness," said one of them.

"Get me a glass of water and see if the horses are already fed," I said without looking at them.

"Was there anything else?" They asked.

"Is Miss Falk still awake?" I asked and while writing.

"Yes Miss Falk and her son are still awake, they are cleaning the kitchen right now" they said and I stopped writing in my book and sighed tired.

"Make sure Miss Falk's son heals his wounds before inflammation comes, otherwise we can all get sick," I said, looking at my court ladies to see if they understood the importance.

"Of course Princess Elizabeth, you must have a good evening," they said, bowed and closing the door behind them.

I went to bed after a while and then fell asleep forgot all about my water.
