The faint light

CHAPTER 48

'Ooh! No, ' she blush and try to look, as her face was red as tomato.

He slowly approached. He low himself down to her size and his large hand fastened around the chair and hold her chin with his other hand and raised her head.

She felt Mike's lips press heatedly against hers. She widened her eyes as she didn't expect Mike to kiss her, June's eyes start to close slow as the heat start to raise in her body.

He kissed her more intensely, almost as if he could devour her, June's heart was thumping in her chest, and her world spun.

Finally Mike pulled away, June gazed at his slender eyes. She almost felt like her body was completely possessed by his gaze.

'Ooh my pure heart.' She touched her chest, felt like her heart is going to burst.

Inside the Cruz's couples room. June was sitting on the dressing-table stool and applying skin care on her body.

"I thought I will find you sleeping."

She heard deep voice of the person who hold her heart behind her, June's smile happily and put down her skin care as she already finished apply it. " How can I sleep without you by my side. " She said playful and put her hands behind his neck.

He chuckled and put a faint kiss on her forehead and then kissed her lips. His mouth stimulated her in a sweet and gently way, so that June had to lean against him for support due to her weakening body.

He slid his hands beneath her silk nightgown. One hand stroked her hip, while the other one reached up and squeezed her breast. His touch sent shocking jolts throughout her body. His leg had snuck in between hers and was rubbing against her body. With his lips pressed against her neck, he let out a low whisper.

"I love you mate."

..... My heart is going to burst.

Mike held her up and walked to their bed. She smile and kiss his chin which make Mike's eyes burn with heat.

He laid her on the bed and lied down next to her. He embrace her hips and cuddle. His hand gently slid down her back.

A long while passed and June was able to relax and soon she dripped to the dreamland.

He kissed her forehead and closed his eyes with small smile on his face.

In the rough road, were seeing young woman who was running without stopping. Her yellow coat dress flew by the wind that was blowing harsh.

She couldn't sense the sun rising in the sky or the day darkening to night. She was running but she felt like she was floating aimlessly, like the air around her had changed into a space with no gravity.

'Ah..! Where is this place?'

She lamented and abruptly opened her eyes. Her eyes flickered with white light. June's looked down at her trembling hands, it was a terrified dream. She didn't know why she was running to that rough road and don't even knew that road.

There was a faint light lingering around her hands. The change that had shown up on her body felt very mysterious to her, June's closed her hands with fear.

"What's wrong with me?" She yell in fraight.

June's looked at the side of the bed but she didn't saw Mike by her side and that make her sad as she want to be in his arms at this moment the most.

She looked out the window and see sun was shining brightly and warm the room but not her heart.

It's was early in the morning.

The light coming from her hands gradually began to spread all over her body. And the energy streaming from the light gradually began to gush forth and wrapped around her, as if wanting to swallow her.

Crack! She hear the sound of her bones breaking, the white energy quickly traveled from her eyes to her vein, passing through her heart before spreading all over her body and she was soon covered in white light.

It was unbearable pain, she yell in pain but there's no sound that come out off her mouth. Tears felling down from her cheeks but it was like a fire as she felt her tears buried her cheeks.

She didn't know what's happen to her body, but all she knew and feel at that time is pain.

She start to feel cold and her skin turn pale. June's start to search for blanket that was on the floor because of her struggling. She bent down and want to take blanket but she soon lose strength and fell on the floor. She lost consciousness.

When she opened her eyes, she found that she was still on the cold floor. And she sluggishly sat up as the pain she felt early fade away that felt like it didn't happen.

Its still in the morning, that prove she didn't lose conscious for long.

She was powerless as she didn't feel strength, she tried few times to stand up and at the end she managed to get up and seat on the bed.

What wrong with me?

What the hell is that light that I felt and see early in my body?

Aa!... !

Didn't I will turn into monster? But no, no, no, I can't turn to that.

June's shook her head and keep murmed at herself like crazy.

'Maybe it was a dream.' she tried to convince herself and laid down on the bed to get some sleep as she didn't have strength.

Late in the morning, the fragrant snow-white curtain was fluttering with the breeze, through which, one could indistinctly see a beautiful girl laying in bed.

She slow open her eyes and got out off the bed with slow movement, June felt her body regain strength, she do some exercise and went bathroom to take a shower.

"Luna."

June just nodded her head at butler greeting and walked to the training area she found some people training and fighting with their wolf from and other people train in their human from.

The training area was terrified from human like her but she already used to it as always went to the training ground.

The beta, Zach saw his Luna walking to the training ground, he quickly left the people he was train and walked to her, after greeting her he guided her to Mike's location at private training area. The path leading up to the training grounds were lined with a variety of large and small weapons, including spears, swords, daggers and axes. The weapons were not just decorations to look at either; all hand finger marks and signs of use. June looked at each one in detail and admired them.

Swig, swig, swiig..

There was a swishing sound in the air as they neared the training hall, and soon June spotted the source. Inside a spacious private training hall was Mike was training alone with a sword. Shirtless. Judging by the amount of sweat dripping from his strong body, he must have been going for some time.

'Ooh! He's more skilled'

Zach bowed silently and left the training hall.

Eventually, Mike stopped practicing and wiped the sweat off his chin. June's eyes were fixed on his action. Her face flushed. The scene was so breathtakingly sexy that she thought it was almost too indecent to see.

She take a small towel and went to wipe off his sweat and said to him "I don't like to woke up alone everyday, I want to be in your arms till I woke up."
