Roses Multiverse Power Unlocking System

Ruby Rose, the team leader of RWBY got unlucky when she fell. Instead of falling into the Ever-After, she hit some poor sap's soul and got their memories. Oh yeah, also she got nabbed by some God and was given a system to travel the Multiverse with. Armed with a cruddy system that she barely uses, she now travels the Multiverse to get home to her family. (Will have Yuri and will generally be slow-paced as I'm a lazy writer. Also despite system being in the name of the Novel I wont use it often) THIS STORY IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REWRITTEN

Saving Private Rose

*Tracer POV* (A/N: Going to be Tracer for part of this one.)

"Alright so this is going to be more difficult than we all thought..." Torbjorn trailed off as he was gaping at how many enemies were in the factory.

Everyone seemed to frown after hearing that. 'Of course it has to be difficult...' I thought as I too grumbled at the prospects of fighting more enemies.

Looking around I could really see the ware and tare that the team has taken, Reinhardts armor is scratched up and dented, Mercy looks exhausted from running around and healing us, and Torbjorn was scowling more fiercely than I have ever seen before.

"Come on guys, I know we are all tired but we can do this! We just need to sneak in and get Ruby out. Then, we high tail it out of there after rigging the place to blow!" I tried to cheer up the deflated team.

This seemed to do at least something as everyone snapped out of their self induced trance. Torbjorn's scowl lessened ever so slightly while Mercy tried looking more energetic.

"Tracer is right, we can't get held back by such a small impediment." Reinhardt stood taller. "This is our mission, our duty. We failed when we let one of our own get taken, but we can make it right by getting her back."

"Yeah! Let's go save my-our! Our! Damsel in distress." Looking away after correcting myself I began to sweat bullets, hoping no one noticed what I just said. 'Ughh how could I have said that! I have only known Ruby for a few weeks! I don't even like her... Oh who am I kidding? I have the biggest crush I had since middle school...' I thought to myself as I ignored all the side glances from the team.

Getting a knowing glance from Mercy I tried to ignore it as the team came up with a plan to save Ruby.

"The thing is if I know any better is that all of the Nulltroopers shouldn't be active currently. Just a small squadron. It just wouldn't make sense to have them ready to attack us due to not having enough energy to run them all. At most I believe they are in guard mode, where they will be guarding vital points of the factory. At best they will be de-active due to power cost." Torbjorn trailed off.

Reinhardt looked at Torbjorn as the two had a unspoken debate. "Listen Torbjorn, we must attack now, but I don't know if it will be safe. Sure that flying thing of yours helped us, but it only gave a bases. The issue is if we attack willy nilly Ruby will be put in danger. They will either move her or use her as a hostage."

"We need to somehow get her out before we launch a full attack on the factory." Mercy firmly said as everyone nodded in agreement.

After Mercy said that everyone looked towards me. 'Wait wait, why are they looking at me?' I thought as I began to become nervous.

"Uhhh, why are you looking at me?" I questioned the team as everyone else seemed to have an epiphany.

"Yes, Tracer would make the best infiltrator due to her speed and size. Not only that but she can also use one of her pulse bombs on the main reactor in the factory before escaping." Reinhardt boisterously said as I nervously looked around.

'Huh! They want me to go in there? But this is like, my first mission if you ignore that training one!' I waved my hands around nervously and said "Wait a second there love, this is my first mission! What if I mess up?"

Reinhardt laughed out and said "Ohho don't worry Tracer, you will do fine. We will grab the attention of the enemies while you run in and get Ruby out. After that just leave one of those pulse bombs of yours on their reactor and notify us so we can get out."

'Ohh for a second I thought he wanted me to go in facing all of those nasties...' I listened on as Reinhardt's words clarified what he wanted me to do. "Alrighty love, sounds like a plan!" I did a small salute to Reinhardt.

Mercy grabbed my shoulder and put her mouth next to my ear to whisper something causing me to blush. "Please be careful, I know you like Ruby but don't do anything too dumb that will get you hurt." I blushed after hearing Mercy whisper that in my ear.

"Wh-what? I-I uhh. Alright I will be careful, don't worry Mercy." I stammered out as I tried to remove the blush on my face. Coughing slightly I said "Alright so what is the plan? You guys all attack first and I run in while they are distracted? But I still don't know where Ruby is." I announced to the team.

Torbjorn cut off Reinhardt before he answered my question and said "Yeah yeah, I'm working on finding the girl. Give me a secon-ah! Here she is." Torbjorn pointed to the holomap that showed a picture of Ruby tied onto a table while the remaining two bots that kidnapped her were trying to repair themselves.

"Yeah... Thats not good." I said as I saw the partly damaged assassin droid that I attacked. "That skinny one gives me a run for my money with how fast it is, I doubt that I can outrun it while holding Ruby."

Mercy seemed to have a lightbulb go off because she looked right towards me after gasping. "Oh Tracer how about you do that new move you were working on, when you dash in and return right after?"

Hearing what Mercy said I thought back to my earlier practice with that technique to steal objects from people. 'That would work! Only issue is that with people it really sucks up power from my accelerator...' I realized that Mercy's idea would work and I laughed.

"Haha love you are a genius! I can dash in as fast as I can and just return with Ruby!" I exclaimed as I thought of how easy it would be to escape with Ruby.

"Hmm that is a good idea, but you will have to be quick. We will clear a path straight to her and you grab her and retreat. During that time try your best to throw a pulse bomb on the reactor but just remember your main mission is Ruby. If you don't get the pulse bomb on the reactor we will all meet back up and destroy the reactor." Reinhardt said after changing the plan slightly.

'Yes! Don't worry Ruby, the cavalry is coming!' I thought as I stared at the holomap.

*With Ruby*

'Ughh... What what happened? Who's voice was that, was that Masons?' I groggily thought as I tried to move only to feel cold metal on my arms and legs.

Trying to move I felt extreme pain in my face. "Feels like I got hit by Yang without aura..." I muttered as I groggily opened my eyes to stare at my situation.

Suddenly my eyes opened widely as I remembered what happened. 'Holy shoot... Mason just caused me to use my Semblance offensively? And he also took... control.'

I began to hyperventilate slightly as my anxiety began to grow. 'He controlled me... Why can't I move!?' I jerked my arms and legs harshly only to feel more pain coming from all over my body.

The pain seemed to dull my nervousness as I slowly gained control over my emotions again. 'Come on Ruby, I can't freak out that attracts grimm. Don't freak out.' I chanted a mantra inside my head as I began to take deep breaths of air.

Focusing on the air that I breathed in I could almost taste the metal and oil. Finally after a moment of this I calmed down fully and opened my left eye, as it seemed my right one was currently bruised shut.

Trying to look around I first spotted two NullSector bots. 'Is that... I think that's the one that punched me?' I tried remembering what hit me only to remember seeing the purple blur of its fist. 'I guess this was the one that hit me.'

Shaking my head I ignored how the two bots seemed to be repairing themselves only to remember that I too needed repairs. Groaning lightly to myself I tried to see if I had any aura left only to feel it running on empty. 'Guess that's why I hurt so bad... Whatever Mason did sucked up the rest of my aura... I guess getting punched doesn't help either.'

Looking around the room to get any details of where I was I saw a multitude of different things. First I saw the two bots that kidnapped me, one that looked like one of those edgy assassins from my comic books, and the 2nd being the one that punched me in the face. After that I saw that I was in a medium sized room with one door, the room looked to be a workshop of some kind.

'I'm in the factories workshop? I think I remember that being next to the reactor maybe?' I questioned my own thoughts as I tried to remember the blueprints of the factory.

Shrugging my shoulders I lifted my head and looked down at what held me in place. I was on a metal table with 4 cuffs on my legs, 2 holding down my arms, and finally 2 across my torso.

'Looks like I'm in one of those scenes from Blakes smut books... Or a crazy scientists lab. Hopefully the second.' I chuckled lightly at my own joke as I moved around to see how tight they were.

Feeling myself not even budge I sighed out. 'Huh.. Well I guess I'm stuck here until help arrives. Not like my aura will recover fast enough to escape.' I hummed lightly as I just now remembered that I had my new weapon.

'Wait a minute, where did they put it.' I thought as I looked around with difficulty due to only having sight in one eye. Searching for a moment I saw all of my things on a table in the corner such as Gleaming Rose and my pack of mints. But most importantly my AI destroyer. 'Ohhhh shoot. This is bad, I wonder if I can even get to it...'

Groaning once more I ignored my current issues as there wasn't anything I really could do. 'Well best if I try to recover aura while I think back to what happened with Mason.'

Breathing in I began to focus on recovering my aura as I remembered Mason. 'Heh I guess both of us got unlucky huh? A random God decided to grab me and Mason just to merge us. According to Mason's memories I wasn't even dead, I was just knocked out for awhile as I fell with Neopolitan. It's not all bad though...'

'I guess in the end I got to met these new people and I even got a system I guess... Wait! The system! I haven't checked that in a long time, maybe something could help me?' I rapidly thought I ignored my previous thoughts of Mason and shouted System in my mind.

Suddenly a light blue screen appeared in front of my vision that showed 3 different windows. On the first was an image of me currently which had on tattered clothes while looking completely beat up.

The next window was my current Quests which I chose would not be helpful so I read the next, which was the System shop. Mentally willing myself to go to the next Window a small chime sounded out as I opened the point shop for the first time.

The menu went on with a multitude of things that seemed to be locked off to me. 'Ohhh come on uhhh, health! Maybe I can rapidly recover my aura from something?' I rapidly thought of clicking the health part of the shop.

'Hmm alright let's see... Painkillers, Bandages, Medical Scissors, uhh Bacta?' I began listing items as I occasionally questioned what I just scrolled upon in the Health part of the shop menu.

Taking nearly 5 minutes of searching for an Aura Pill or Shot unfruitfully, I noticed something in the top right corner of the screen. Hidden in the top of the screen was not only my very, very limited amount of points, but also a settings icon.

Thinking about clicking it I saw a multitude of things I could change about the shop menu. After searching through it for a minute because curiosity got the better of me, I came across something that angered me greatly.

"What do you mean I had a search bar!" I silently whispered to myself in outrage which caused one of the bots to look at me. Freezing up entirely at its orange eye, I hoped that it would just ignore me. Breathing lightly for a couple of seconds I waited for a moment and watched the bot to look away, causing me to sigh in relief.

'Gah! Turn on this search bar!' I mentally ordered. Not even taking a second glance to make sure the search bar was on, I rapidly went back to the menu and typed in Aura.

Dozens upon dozens of options rapidly popped up on the dazzling blue screen. Books and theories about aura, actual skills for aura techniques, guides, and then finally I came across what I was looking for, Aura Recovery Pills.

Remembering back for a brief second to my original world, I thought of aura recovery pills. They were extremely difficult to make and preserve, but could save any huntsman's life on the field. They acted on a similar principle to the Aura Stimulation Shot, which would stimulate your body into producing more aura.

The pill itself would rapidly recover lost aura by empowering whatever dormant aura you had left. You could even take it with full aura, which would let anyone get a super boost to their aura temporarily. Sadly it's not all good news as these pills were very difficult to make. Furthermore, they would also strain your aura, making your aura recover slower for however long it was in your body.

Snapping myself out of my pointless thoughts I took a look at my points and saw that I had just enough to buy them. Sadly it would leave me with a meager 12 points left, but it was a risk I had to take.

'Well, Uncle Qrow said to only take these as an emergency... Now or never.' I mentally clicked the buy on the Aura Pills as I watched my meager amount of points dwindle to nearly nothing.

A small chime was heard from the system as a small pill bottle was deposited to my shop inventory space. 'Alright... wait how am I going to take these.' I just thought through what I just did and sighed.

'I can't believe I just wasted my points for nothing... I can't even move my hands to take them.' I grumbled to myself as I mentally called myself stupid multiple times.

'Urgh I am over-stressed here, and being so beat up sure hasn't helped my decision making... Lets just get back to focusing on recovering my aura.'

I began to meditate and think of a happy place to recover aura. Time passed quickly as the sound of the robots repairing eased me into a meditative state. Oddly enough thoughts of me being in the Armory at Sanctum appeared which helped me feel at peace as I tried to recover my aura.

Breathing in and then out, I began to also try to think back to any words of advice for the situation I am in. Sadly, I was unable to remember any instance of time where someone gave me advice for being kidnapped by robots. Shaking my head I breathed in again and ignored the pain in my body.

I repeated this for a short period of time until I felt a small spark. This small spark would grow with every breath I took. Smirking I continued to fuel the spark and think back to happy thoughts as I felt my aura at a pace I never seen before.

Sadly I was brought out of my happy thoughts as I first felt and then heard a small explosion, which was quickly followed by alarms and gunfire. Snapping my one good eye open I looked at the two bots to see their orange eyes turn black for a moment, until they radiated a grayish black light through their lenses.

The two bots stopped whatever repairs they were doing to themselves and quickly set up a defensive positioning on the room. The first skinny assassin looking bot jumped up into the rafters and turned invisible, while the second bot walked up to me.

'Oh shoot, oh shoot!' I got extremely nervous at the imposing stature of a massive robot with a gun on it's back standing over me. Surprisingly the robot spoke out to me in a synthesized voice which certainly didn't belong to the bot that stood before me.

The voice itself had a calm and caring quality which deeply unnerved me. It also sounded mother like, and spoke almost like it was talking to her child.

"Don't worry child, once we take care of the intruders we will find out what gives you strength, and then make you one of us. Under the veil of the night you will be safe once more and be made the third sister." The robot spoke out calmly as it grabbed for something under the table that I was strapped to.

Trying to comprehend what it just said I made my own opinion known. "You won't get away with that, my team is coming to save me. And once I'm free me and my friends are going to kick your butt!"

The robot chuckled lightly and said "Oh what an unruly child we have here. Can't you see that I am the good one here? That I'm helping?" The robot then pulled what appeared to be a gag out and waited for my response.

"What do you mean?! You are destroying so many peoples lives! You call killing people and destroy Britain help?" I shouted in disbelief at the audacity of this robot. 'How is she the good one? She has just been murdering people and hacking omnics to get what she wants?'

The robot simply shook his-her? Her head and strapped the gag to my face. Barely having the strength to fight back I glared at the robot which gently locked the gag in place.

The giant purple robot seeing this simply shook her head and pat my head once. "Don't worry, I will show you later. But for now it seems that we have unwanted guests at our front door." And with that the giant purple robot had the gun on it's back flip up into attacking position and left the room.

"Mhm mmmm mhm!" I shouted at the leaving robot which completely ignored my shouts. Sighing I wondered what it meant but then thought about it.

'Wait, turn me into the third sister? What does that even mean? And what's even worse is that I can't warn my team of the assassin droid up there...' For one of the few times I felt an emotion that I never did, and that was hopelessness.

A few tears gathered at my eyes as I took in everything that happened earlier and what will happen when my friends come in to save me. 'Heh... Useless again...' I thought as I let my emotions release just slightly.

Shaking my head at how pitiful I was I felt a strange sense of displeasure and anger in the back of my soul. Focusing on it I felt that it was Mason's soul, and despite not talking, he clearly made his take on what I was doing known.

Feeling oddly inspired and slightly upset at Mason I shook my emotions away and breathed out. 'No, he is right. I shouldn't get so upset over not being able to help. I can still do this!' Hyping myself up I began to try and focus on my aura once again.

'Come on Ruby! I Can't be sad, I need to be happy!' Suddenly I heard another explosion and paused for a second and looked towards the door.

'I hope everyone is okay.' Was the last thing I thought before focusing fully on recovering my aura.

=================================

Authors Note: Hope you all enjoyed the extremely late chapter. Anyways I wanted to put down that thanks to you guys continually supporting this that I got to making this chapter. Honestly I was very unmotivated to write this series. (especially with all the errors I made earlier in the series and that I will probably continue to make.)

I contemplated redoing the series but decided to continue on due to the occasional comment asking for more, so thanks. Anyways chapters were late due to many things, but most prominent was writers block.

I will get back into writing this series, as well as my other series on Fanfic Net for anyway who reads my stuff there. I will try to get chapters out for this whenever I can, so hope you all enjoy.

The system also made one of its rare appearances in this chap, some ask why not more? Well I don't want this to be a OP System fanfic.

Also has anyone guessed who the God Program is? Comment below your guesses :P

Sorry M8's this chapter is going to be meaty because I felt bad for my prolonged absense. Paragraphs will also be slightly thicker, or thats wht I noticed when reading it.
