Unpleasant Surprise
I opened my eyes in shock. It was very dark. There were many scary sculptures and cobwebs. Suddenly, two ladies came towards me.
"Where's Minnie? Why am I here?"
"Did you even follow Princess Minnie here or you're lying?" One of them asked.
"Yes!" I told them in frustration.
"Now where is she?"
"You're so gutsy, aren't you?" The voice came from one of the sculptures.
The ladies' grinned, thinking I'd be afraid, but I pretended like I didn't hear.The sculpture broke into tiny little pieces and a familiar lady stepped out.
"Sapphira?!"
"At last! I knew you'd be surprised."
"You asked them to kidnap me, right? You and Minnie are in cahoots? I just knew it! I knew Reagan's wife was evil!" I yelled at her angrily.
"Reagan? Who's Reagan? Minnie, she's a dead fowl, maybe."
"YOU KILLED HER! WHY?!" I burst into tears.
"Like I never did." She laughed.
"But why? Why did you kill Minnie?"
"I never said I killed Minnie. And I never said we were in cahoots." Sapphira folded her arms and sat near me.The two girls untied me.They had made a very big mistake.I pounced on Sapphira and bit her neck like a vampire. She started yelling horribly. The girls took me off her but I yanked them off. I noticed a knife and I just wanted to stab her. Some men came in and took me away.
"No!!! No!" I cried.
"Why are you even back?" I questioned Sapphira.I was tied to their expensive looking chandelier and was staring at her from there.
"Are you asking me that question? First you snatched my mom from me, my princess life, and every other thing I deserved. Did Queen Jennie ever tell you she once came to Racalyn? I'm her real daughter. She used to love me very much, she used to make pancakes together, fish and hunt. Then you came and ruined it all!" She yelled and I was baffled.
"Queen Jennie?? Your mother?"
"Yes. Don't worry, things will get clearer, okay? For now, this is the magic school, where you abide by all our rules. You're a traitor so you should be treated as one." She laughed hysterically and I was under the verge of tears. The rope became weak and I fell to the ground with a loud thud.
"Mom! Mom!" Prince Ethan pushed the guards and barged into his Mom's room.
"What gave you the effrontery to barge into my room like that?" Queen Leah thundered.
"Mom! Rose is missing!"
"What?"
"Yes, my wife." Ethan nodded
"Guards, with armed knights, go and find the Princess." The guards hurried off and went to call knights and others.The palace was a disaster, as cooks, cleaners, butchers and others were on the search. Ethan rode on a horse with the armed knights.
I watched rookies holding magic wands and performing different magic tricks.A girl was transforming her friends' dress from a casual to a fancy one.
"Let me try." I told them.The girls laughed.
"We were told not to let traitors touch our wand. You came with the Princess of All, right? When she leaves, you'll leave with her." They said grinning.
I snatched the wand from their hands and sprang to my feet. They ran after me with full speed, but when I saw that they were close to getting me, I threw their wand at someone's head. It was Minnie.
"THE PRINCESS OF ALL!!" They yelled and looked horrified. I walked close to Minnie.
"Oops. I threw that." I confessed.
"Oh." She chuckled.
"Minnie, why didn't you come to save me when I was kidnapped?" I asked them.
"According to the people of this school, you're a traitor. The princess of all shouldn't have anything to do with traitors." She told me and I was angry.
"Look here, Minnie. I was here to find out who I really am. I'm just a crazy princess who's got no idea how i came about. I really wanna know. I've been deceived to be an ordinary princess, but I know its all a lie." I shared it with her.
"You can't do that here. You'll do it in that river. The river goddess is like a principal to all of us here. Only her, can find the solution to your problem."
Without thinking, I ran to the river and dived. Surprisingly, I was in a cabinet. I pushed it open and was alarmed to find myself in the palace kitchen. Some maids were there cooking.
"The whole palace activities has been disrupted due to the fact that the Queen in waiting and the princess of all are missing" A maid said.
"I'm here! I'm here!" I yelled."Princess Rose?"
"WE FOUND PRINCESS ROSE! WE FOUND HER!!"
"You troubled your husband and his brothers so much? You're a crazy wife." Queen Leah declared and I was shocked.
"I'm not crazy or stupid, I'm here to know why I Have a tattoo that's supposed to be for people of Racalyn. Why are you hiding things from me? I even asked you, but you're also denying." I yelled back at her.
"How dare you yell at the Queen of Racalyn?" Her maid said.
"Yeah. How can a tourist come to find facts and the host just insult the tourist? Do you even know who the tourist is?"
"Who are you?" Ethan walked close to me and my heart pounded. He had a light smirk on his face, that cheeky smirk, the irresistible smirk. I knew he thought I would kiss him,but I declared:
"I'm the Princess of May, The daughter of King Damien and Queen Jennie. You have 0% right to bring the Queen of another kingdom in my presence and brag about her. She has all that authority to kick me out of her palace, or even banish me from Racalyn, but I have the authority to ask my questions. I want her to give them all an answer." I folded my arms as people stared at me.
