The Truth

I woke up in the prison. I was in the midst of the women with the huge noses. They were smirking at me.

"What am i doing here?" Zamiale walked towards us and knelt in front of me.

"Rose...or what are you called?"

"Yes." I answered her.

"Here in this dungeon,we don't sleep all day. We work hard for tiny bread. You'll have to do same." She said with gritted teeth.

"Alright ma'am! If its about work, then I'm an expert!" I noticed some dirty clothes in a corner and took them out for washing. Zamiale saw me sitting in front of the clothes to wash, and pulled me up. I was a bit confused.

"Girl, here we clean with magic." She told me. I was a bit surprised.

"Come here, I'll teach you." She sounded kinda nice. She closed her eyes, chanted some words and suddenly, they were all washed and folded. I was speechless.

"Wow! Amazing!" I yelled.

"It is." Zamiale smiled.

 Suddenly, there was silence in the main room. Zamiale and I ran there, and saw that they were being served.

"Foodies." I rolled my eyes. There was a man serving them, and i could see them smiling in satisfaction. Zamiale sat for her meal to be served, and on seeing the server, I ran to the first corner I saw.

Ethan.

The prince who landed me here.

His face disgusted me as i fumed in anger. Suddenly, he walked towards me.

"Here's your meal, Rose." I stared at him with so much anger.

"I won't eat anything from you, beast."

"Firstly, you killed Louis, now you're calling me the beast." Ethan smirked and i lost my temper. I pushed him away.

"You do this. Take your hideous food, outta my sight!" I half yelled.

"Vivian cooked this specially for you." He said.

"You touched the food and now its tasteless! I don't need anything from you. I'd rather starve." I lied.

"Oh really?"

"YES!" I roared.

"I need one thing from you before I leave; Why did you kill Prince Louis?" He looked into my eyes. I burst into angry tears.

"STOP ACCUSING ME! I DIDN'T KILL PRINCE LOUIS! I...I ONLY TOOK OUT THE KNIFE! THE CULPRIT IS THAT GIRL! THAT NEW GIRL! XIAO LI!" I cried.

"What could Louis do to Li that would make Li even think of that? Rose, stop lying." He said softly and held my shoulders.

"LET ME GO! I DIDN'T KILL ANYONE! I DIDN'T! I DIDN'T! I'M INNOCENT! AHHHHHHHHH!!!" I screamed so loud, kicking and crying. The other prisoners ran towards me and lifted me. The devil's queen snatched me from them.

"GUARDS!!! TAKE HER TO THE ROYAL ASYLUM!" Ethan snarled. I jumped on Ethan and gave him a thunderous slap. I had no idea what came over me at the point. I bit his neck so hard, with him giving ear splitting shrieks.

The prisoners declared me crazy, and even the guards couldn't handle me. I pinned him to the ground angrily.

"Tell me! Tell me this kingdom's biggest secret! Tell me why May and Racalyn are enemies! Tell me how Sapphira's connected to my mum, Queen Jennie! Who's Queen Eun, Who's Queen Kyung? What are the books all about?" I was strangling him while he was muttering apologies, with his scared face.

Queen Leah rushed into the dungeon and finally separated us.

"Roseanne! What are you doing to the Prince?"

"He's not a Prince, he's a beast, and am ready to prove that am a she-devil as well!" I yelled at the queen.

"What led to all these? You guys should go to your rooms!" The Queen yelled at the prisoners.

"He accused me first. Xiao Li killed Prince Louis." I said.

"We saw you with the knife, Rose."

"Xiao Li ran away." I fumed in so much anger.

"I found them in the bedroom discussing and I eavesdropped on their conversation. Prince Louis said he'd rather die than have one night with her!" I said more. Queen Leah thought for awhile, and finally told the guards:

"Have her released."

"WHAT? MOM, SHE KILLED!"

"I trust Rose. And if you still wanna be holding grudges, I'll suggest she leaves our kingdom." Queen Leah said closely.

"You've done more than enough, Ethan. I don't wanna be part of your TLW anymore." Ethan held my hand, but i yanked it off angrily and left the dungeons.

The thing was, I was done.

I was done with this stupid Prince and this revenge game. All that biting and craziness was worth it.

He pleaded for my mercy, and that was all I needed.

But, I wasn't done in Racalyn.

"Bella! Stella!" They ran towards me, crying and hugging me tight.

"We missed you!!" They wept.

"First, you need to freshen up and..."

"Look here girls, I don't have all day in Racalyn...I might have to go." I broke the news.

"WHY?!" They exclaimed.

"I don't wanna answer any questions! Am leaving!" I stormed off to my room. Some maids were cleaning and dusting, I saw Vivian preparing my essential oils.

"VIVIAN! Who told you I'd be coming here?" I was so furious.

"My dear Princess, I prepared some food for you, and when coming for you, Prince Ethan offered to help."

"And you allowed him to come to the dungeon? That's not even the case right now. I'm leaving Racalyn, for good." I told her.

"WHAT?! PRINCESS..."

"No!" I didn't really have clothes there, so i just packed my valuable things and dashed out of the room. I peeped and walked through the passage. I saw Queen Leah approaching and started walking faster.

"ROSE!" She yelled and I stopped.

"You don't need to leave our kingdom because of Ethan. Vivian, Bella, Stella, me and the other contestants, we love you too much to see you go away." She said and I snapped immediately.

"I don't love anybody!" I lowered my voice.

"I wanna know who Queen Jennie is to this kingdom. What's with this bolt?" I opened up my lap and I could see her face turn paper white.

"R...R...Rose...I...I..." Her eyes widened and she slumped. I looked around, and since the coast was clear, I ran out of the passageway.

I reached a doorway which had a light inside it. I walked confidently inside the room. It looked so enchanted, like one I read in fairy tales. It had shelves containing millions of books (well, that's if I began to count). I reached out for one of the books, and as I glanced through,it was the same as what I was reading days before!
