Magical Weirdness

The girls walked out chuckling.

"Thank you so much! I never expected a gift like this!" I cried out tears of joy, not letting him go. He pulled me away from me slowly.

"Its nothing - you asked for it, and its a tradition here." He folded his arms.

"So can you please excuse me, because i need to have my morning bath." He gave a short smile and I was awed.

He gave me a strange look, so I walked out silently, bumping on Minnie.

"Oh! You and your husband are here! Your friends are behind bars now." She smirked and I gasped.

"HOW?! Who put them behind bars?" I pushed Minnie aside and ran towards the dungeons. The main gates were shut when some guards noticed me.

"Ahh!! Open the gates!" Some maids ran towards the guards.

"Open the gates! Its an order from Princess Rose." I was about to burst in when someone held me tight.

"Rose! This is what happens when you bring in visitors without my permission! Especially disrespectful ones!" It was Queen Leah.

"What was their offense? Why did you lock them up?" I didn't know when I was yelling at her.

"How dare Hazel look at me with those evil eyes? How dare Ashley call Minnie a maid? Is this how you are in May? Little wonder Racalyn hates May."

The burn in me began. The urge to take revenge was now lit and I just wanted to strike.

"You are a Racalyn bride now, my dear. You need to stay away from evil friends." She touched my shoulder but I yanked it off and made my way in the gates. Hazel and Ashley were discussing.

"You're not even scared of prison." I laughed.

"Not even Racalyn prison." They chuckled loudly and I covered up their mouths.

"You're both silly!" I sat there.

"Queen Leah is really annoying! I hate her!"

"Racalyn will be mourning their queen in one second from now." Ashley laughed evilly.

"Now what did you do?" I folded my arms.

"Spat in her drink." We all burst into another round of hysterical laughter. We sat there, chitchatting on all the fun and even the bad things that happened when we were away from each other.

After waking up from a very short nap, I noticed it was 7pm already, and the court was supposed to be having a meeting. Luckily, I found only Reagan sitting alone there.

"Where's Minnie?" I asked him.

"Minnie?"

"Your wife. Princess Minnie." I corrected myself.

"She's on her way." He rolled his eyes.

"You're an animal." I muttered and sat near him.

"I heard you. Minnie has fed you so many lies, hasn't she?" He said coldly.

"No, she hasn't. I know how unfairly you've been treating the Princess, if not so, she wouldn't have been cursed." I folded my arms.

"You really think so?" The Queen and the courtiers appeared out of the blue.

"You've spent a whole day with them and forgot your duties as a Princess." Queen Leah stared at me scornfully.

"Back in May, Princesses never had duties. All they did was relax in their bedrooms, smell some flowers, maybe play hide and seek with friends, and see if we'll catch some butterflies before sunset." I chuckled, remembering the good old days.

"That's not how it works here, Rose." She sat on her throne. I sat near her as others walked into the courtroom. Without delay, they proceeded to having some astrologers and stuff. I just sighed and closed my eyes, as they talked political.

The next minute I opened my eyes, I was in a bed of roses with a maid sitting next to me.

"How did I get here? Wasn't I at the court?" I asked the maid who seemed deaf.

"The Queen asked me to bring you here." I sat on the bed snickering.

"Rise and shine, its time to go!!" I opened my eyes to see Minnie in front of me. She was wearing a crystal-like dress, and was holding an unreal magic wand.

I scratched my eyes.

"We're going to the magic school today." She had a smiling face.

"Oh...!" I giggled.

I questioned her all through in the carriage ride.

"Is it fairyland? Is it some enchanted forest? Where is it!"

"We'll get there. Just calm down." Few hours later, we got to a very dense forest. Trees were all bent and the thick bushes looked really scary. After dropping us off, the horse carriage scurried off.

"This is not a school at all." Minnie smiled and took my hand slowly.

"Let's go." We reached a corner and went deeper and deeper into the forest. Soon, it was completely dark.

"That's it! I'm not going anywhere with you anymore! We're friends but not to forget, you're from Racalyn and I'm from May. You might harm me." I folded my arms.

"Oh really?" She stopped to look at me.

"What happened to that brave and strong Rose?" She laughed and I scoffed.

"I'm not a coward. But brave girls also have to look out for themselves."

"I won't harm you. Just follow me." She pulled me. I angrily took out a dagger from my dress and cut her wrist.

"Ouch!" She fell to the ground crying.

"Don't force me to do things I don't want to. I'll be on my way now." I turned around to a shock. The forest was too dark and we were covered by thick bushes.

"Oh no, what do i do now??" My cheeks turned red, and my eyes were forming tears. I've never been this scared in my whole life. Minnie was whimpering silently near me. I squatted in front of her.

"Climb."

"What?"

"You heard me. I caused all this, so I have to bear it." She hopped on my back holding me tight. It wasn't an easy task though. She weighed so much.

She directly me to the school and we got to an enchanted forest few minutes later. I was amazed by all the pretty girls that were sitting on emerald chairs, chitchatting and laughing.

"This is the mag..." She fell off my back suddenly.

"Minnie, i told you to hold me tight!" I turned around to see her head bleeding profusely. I gasped in fear. A beautiful girl turned around and saw me. As she stood up, her wings sprang out of her back magically.

"Who are you? And what are you doing here?" Her breath was cold, and her voice was bringing cold chills to my face. She looked at Minnie and smirked.

"Can you help us in any way? We're from the palace and..."

"I know what you want! This is Minnie, one of the eldest princesses here. You're here to have her powers, since you killed her! Wow!" The girl exclaimed.

"Let me explain...I..." The girl ran to her crew and narrated a fake story. They came after me and seized me.

"Ma'am...Ma'am...I can explain!" They threw me in a huge sack and tied it up.
