Chapter 24 : The Speaking Tree (I- Peding Nimloth)
Getting Silvanus to look like a girl had taken just fifteen minutes thanks to the Gender Bender charm that Aletheia and Diana had performed. It gave him the outward appearance of a girl, softening the edges of his jawline, elongating his chin length hair and curving the hard lines of his body. Often, the younger elves would cast the Gender Bender spell on their unsuspecting classmates for a laugh but at this point, simply possessing some features of a girl would not help. So the girls set on a makeover for him, made doubly difficult by the fact that he constantly fidgeted and struggled as Diana French braided his bangs while Theia tried to put mascara on his eyelashes.
As they were finishing up, Zula flew in through the window and perched on the side table, observing the girls dashing about putting away make-up essentials. As Silvanus turned around in the chair, Zula let off a great squawk and took off from his perch startling everyone.
