1 CHAPTER ONE

[Footsteps approaching]

"I guess lord will be happy now."

"Yes, he will be, he will definitely."

"We will get the sweet fruit of our hard work and our sacrifices."

"Are you certain about this? Yes, I am sure about it, I have it in my gospel, and this is the right way to do it."

They all formed a circle, one of them bend down to his knees and lit a matchstick, and threw it on the ground.

There was a fire between them in a shape of a circle in a snap, which has a star inscribed in it.

They all grabbed each other's hands and started their prayer in their native language; as they started their prayer, a straight line of fire appears from the center of the star in the circle and goes up in the dark sky.

The wind gets disturbed in his behavior, and a suction force creates at the center of the star: all the surrounding things were floating in the air and going in the ground through the center of the star.

One of them, "Lord, is calling us to his realm."

And in a flash, all of them vanished.

[At present]

"Bill, want a drink,"? Jenifer asked me.

"Yeah, why not!" I replied as I was thirsty, "What do you think about the task they give us this time?" I asked Jenifer.

"Yep, surely excited. In fact, a lot excited. I wanted something new in my hands." Jenifer to me.

Jenifer Baker (Jennie), my blood sister, more like a bloodthirsty vampire. Why am I saying that? Because we both have a long history of fighting with each other. Not like all times, but for little things. After all, we are siblings, right? But one thing's for sure, we both make a great team while working as professionals. With a white skin tone, blue eyes, and long brown hair with a "Blondie Bombshell" hairstyle, she is an ideal girl for any guy.

"Torry, what do you think?" Jenifer asked Jack excitedly.

"I don't know Jennie how it will be, but one thing is for sure I m very excited" Jack replied Jenifer.

'Jack Torrington' with big brains, smart looking with brown eyes and face with a triangle shape and black hairs with 'Classic Combed Back' hairstyle and 'Short Boxed' beard.

"And Daniel, what is it from your side?" I asked Daniel.

"Just going to have lots of fun,"….. Daniel replied.

'Daniel Marsh' we knew him for the last two years we met him during the Harappan civilization's archeological excavation. He can sometimes be dense and crazy with a mid-brown skin tone, black hair with a 'Messy French Crop' hairstyle.

"What's so much fun driving? Because from what I recall, you've been driving for like 2 years." Jack to Daniel sarcastically.

Daniel gave an embarrassing look to Jack.

So they allot us all four archeologists to study and analyze the archeological remains in the 'Zanian Civilization,' which is just past 'Roosevelt Town.' We all work in the Freelance Organization of Archaeologists (FOA).

Daniel was driving his car with music on, and others were having a drink….. After 6 hours of traveling, we arrived at 'Roosevelt Town' at night; it poured.

[Car broke down.]

"Hey! Dude, what's wrong with this car"? Jack to Daniel in a threatening tone because the car broke down in the middle of the street at night, which looked creepy.

"I don't know what's wrong with this car. Don't worry, I will check it,". Daniel replied to Jack.

"Torry, you wait in the car, me and Daniel will look into it. Jennie is sleeping. Monitor her,". I spoke to Jack.

Daniel and I went out, opened the car's bonnet, and were trying to fix the problem.

"Bill, will you please see the car is starting or not? I have fixed this,". Daniel requested me.

I gave a starter to the car over five times, but the car could not start.

"Guys, I think the car is dead," Me to everyone

We tried a lot, but the car was not starting, and it was pouring, and the clouds were shouting like hell in the dark sky. Because of the rain, there was no one to help us, and now we all were in agony.

Jenifer woke up because of the loud screaming of clouds, "Torry, why there is so dark, its frightening, dude," Jenifer to Jack in a scared voice.

"It has broken our car down in this heavy rain," Jack replied to Jenifer.

After so many attempts, we gave up, and I called our company.

"Hey!, Alex, it's me, Bill, our car has broken down at 'Roosevelt Street' and we're stuck in heavy rain,". I spoke with the company manager.

"I am sorry, Bill, no vehicle is available now for your help, till the morning we can't help you guys. But don't worry; we will try our best to help you out as soon as we arrange a vehicle. I will let you know, till then you all may stay in the hotel 'Royal-Inn' which is located a few minutes away from your current location," the Manager replied.

"Hey, guys, there is sad news we can't get any help till morning. They told me we can stay in the hotel 'Royal-Inn'" [Me to everyone.]

"Where the hell is this hotel? I can only see a dark room in front of me," [Jack asked me.]

"It's just 5 min away from our current location". Jenifer replied after searching the hotel on the map.

I started pushing the car from the back, and Daniel from the driver's door and handling the car's steering at the same time. After a few minutes, we took a left turn to the main street and reached the hotel 'Royal-Inn.' The hotel was similar with its name enormous and beautiful hotel….. from outside, we taught that it's all about only one structure, but from inside it is more than a township. The rain had done his job, the clouds flew away after some time at a slow pace, clear black sky was visible to us, and we started exploring the hotel.

Ancient statues were present and decorated with lights, two big pools, and people enjoying it. Most of them were kids. There were over four buildings around us with a lawn ground and a small pathway-like street just having a beautiful feeling.

[While walking inside the hotel].

"I think I am in a dream, such a beautiful place like heaven on earth." [Jenifer to everyone.]

"From when did heaven appear in your dreams? Does evil dream about heaven?" [Jack to Jenifer sarcastically.]

"Ha-ha-ha! Hilarious," [Jenifer to Jack.]

"The blue lighting in the pool makes it look like seawater." [Jack to Daniel.]

"Yes, true," Jenifer replied.

[After a while]

"Hey! Guys, let's get into the room and order our dinner. I am starving," — [me to everyone hungrily.]

Daniel and I were shivering while walking because of the chilly breeze as I soaked us both up and walking behind these two idiots.

Suddenly I felt like someone is holding my shirt and pulling me back with a slight force.

"Hey! You idiot, please stop that. Don't pull my shirt," — [me to Daniel in an irritated tone.]

"Bro, I did nothing." [Daniel to me.]

Then I thought it may have happened because of the wind, then after a few minutes, I realized that my clothes are wet and stuck to my body. Then what was that? Asked me. I was feeling as if someone is holding me from the back and following me.

Then, after exploring the hotel, we checked in and went into our room.

[In our room].

I was lying on the couch and saw Daniel was pulling out his stuff from his bag, and by mistake, a knife slipped from his hand.

"Dude, why the hell are you carrying this knife?" [Jack asked Daniel shockingly.]

"He is on a hit job, Jack." [Me to Jack sarcastically.]

"No, you idiot, it's for safety." [Daniel to Jack and me.]

"Oh! This all traveling and all made me tired and hungry, let's order something to eat," [Jenifer to Jack.]

"Ya, you are always hungry, starving vampire, What you would like to have mam? A liter of blood or tons of meat," [me to Jenifer sarcastically.]

"Bill, what you want to do about my food? I will eat whatever I want, please don't poke your nose in the middle," [Jenifer to me.]

"No, please tell me your order mam…." [me to Jenifer.]

"Yep, I would like to eat raw meat and blood after all I am a vampire," [Jenifer to me in a fed-up tone.]

"Oh! If you want to have blood and meat then please get out of this hotel, there is no place for you." [Me to Jenifer.]

"I think you both keep fighting me and Daniel will have our dinner," [Jack to everyone.]

So we ordered our dinner.

"I think everyone should take shower till our order comes, Jenifer to everyone, I will have a shower and join you guys for dinner."

"No, I will go first, me to Jennie."

"No, Bill, every time you do the same, and please don't start that stupid thing this time, Torry will tell us who take a shower first, Jenifer to me and Torry angrily."

Instead of fighting on this small thing, I will give you guys an idea. So I have an Idea, come here Bill sees there is a swimming pool just below our window so I will push any of you from here. So what do you think guys know you both decide who I will go in the pool and bathroom, Torry replied?

I came one step back and pointed towards the bathroom and spoke to Jenifer. You may go, mam, have fun and please come soon, we don't have an entire day.

[A few minutes later]

Jenifer had a shower. After the shower, she saw something from the small window of the bathroom and screamed loudly….

"Hey, are you alright? What happened? Speak up, Jenifer,". [Me to Jenifer in a scary and worried tone.]

[Sound of something falling down]

We broke the door lock opened it and saw Jenifer was lying down there unconscious...….
