The June roses over the porch we're awake bright and early on that morning, rejoicing with all their hearts in the cloudless sunshine, like friendly little neighbors.
I walked the streets of Pittsburgh, dusty and tired. I noticed an attractive sign post"Knoxville refectory ". I walked in an satisfied myself with an empty table, looked around and admired the place.
A food roaster was hung by the side, designed with a suitable ox blood color and it read:
Foods
Bruschetta
Bacon and ham
Sarnie
Pandowdy
Panini
Noodles
Drinks
Lemonade
Ice cream float
Banana split
Fizzies
Treacle pudding
Orange marmalade
A lady walked up to me, her bangs arranged properly, monolid eyes looking wan and freaky. "What do you want, she asked me. Her name was written at the peak of her shirt"Jade burrows". I will have jst a panini and a lemonade, I answered.
She hurried over to the counter and came back with my order. I quickly ate and paid my bills and headed out to the streets. I stood at the curb and waited for my grand aunt to pick me up. "What the hell was keeping her so long"I stood perplexed and tired and sat on a waiting bus seat.
Fifteen minutes later, I was sweating and i took of my cardigan and glanced at the left curb of the road.
A Volkswagen drew close to me and a face popped out, "June get in the car, she yelled. I hadn't met her before in my life so I had a bad glance at her before getting into the car. "I'm Summer Jo Doncaster, your grand auntđi don't need you to know more about me"she quickly started the car and we we're off down the road.
Summer looked a little bit old but had a sense of fashion. Anyways I decided not to have respect for her, also I was a chicapillock.
We arrived Bakersfield at a grey building. It was so big like a furnished estate. I rushed in and summer followed suit. The house was very big with about twenty doors, different colors attached.
"Charlotte"-Summer called out
An old woman scampered out of her room, hair wet and long, wore a greenish kimono uniform. Yes ma'am- she answered.
"Show June room seven", summer instructed.
The room's been taken ma! Charlotte replied. Alright take her to room ten, June get dressed and come down for breakfast am off to work, bye, she said as she ruffed my hair pecked me and left. Charlotte took me to my room, smiled at me and told me to be downstairs quickly so we could have breakfast. I entered my room and laid on my bed for a minute and surveyed the room. It was painted orange with black polka dots. I quickly took a warm shower and wore a short loose yellow dress, combed my hair in a ponytail and two short strings dandled down by my side, put on my flip flops and strolled down the stairs. I sat down at the dining table as Charlotte served food. "Excuse me __I said to her. Yes dear, she replied. Isn't anyone coming for breakfast? I asked her. "Oh no, other kids have gone on a three day picnic at Arizona but I suppose Guy will join you. She said and scampered away before I could even ask her who Guy was. I picked up a pandowdy and set it on my saucer and I took a bite. Wow, delicious -I said to myself, I took two more bites and then.......
