I was at a party in the woods with my friends. And I was hammered it was tradition to always have a party after the first day of school and we were having fun just being kids drinking underage

When we got there we stopped in the drive way and he got out and so did I before I tripped and almost fell but I caught myself and chuckled and I walked to the front door Jasper following me looking around worried but I shrugged it off and I went to unlock the door but it was already unlocked and I stepped in before I wished I didn't open the door because of what I saw

Jason: Mom!

I stumbled towards my mother's dead body and fell to my knees and looked at her lifeless eyes before looking at the fireplace and saw my little sister's lifeless six-years old body and she had claw marks all over her body and her guts were around her and I looked back at mom and saw she had the same claw mark but across her neck and I started sobbing

Jasper: Jace we have to go now

Jason: Wh-what? No! I'm not going anywhere! Dad! Where are you?!

I looked up the stair when I heard a thud and something smash and I looked at Jasper who shook his head before I got up

Jasper: Look, we need to get you of here before the rest of them get here!

Jason: Who's they? What are you not telling me?! Huh?!

He didn't answer me and I rushed up the stairs before I stopped and right at the entrance of my parents room stood a figure with glowing eyes and sharp fangs with pointy ears and grown out side burns and he looked at me with his glowing silver eyes and roared at me and got on all fours before he started running towards me and tackled me across the hall and through the wall and we went crashing down to the ground

When we landed I screamed out in pain because I felt about two or three of my ribs crack and one of them punctured my lung and I spat out blood coughing and the figure loomed over me smirking sickly before he was blasted away by a green hue and I turned to see dad standing there bleeding from his mouth and a wound on his chest

Ryan: Stay the hell away from my son!

He let out a roar before his eyes glowed a bright green and four fangs replaced his canines and he coughed out blood which stained his weird armor-suit huh I didn't seem to notice that before now

The creature growled lowly getting back up slamming his fist on the ground and glared at dad

Creature: How are you not dead!

It rushed at him with full speed and tackled dad to the ground and brought it's fists up and slammed them down on his head while dad tried covering his head but couldn't and I watched the creature murder my dad

Jason: No!

Jasper came rushing towards the creature and tackled it to the ground holding it there punching it in the face over and over roaring at it's face while I stared at my dead father's body not moving at all before a new anger took over my body and I felt myself heal

And I got up my eyes glowing an electric blue and black mist surrounding me and I walked towards Jasper and pushed him off the creature and took his place and started ramming my fist into its face with Jasper trying to pull me off before I shoved him away and he landed hard into a tree smashing through it and I looked back at creature and flicked my hand out on instinct and claws replaced my nails and I brought down slashing the creature across the face and it screamed out in pain trying to push me off before I slashed it across the throat and it choked on it's own blood and I got up off it and walked to my father's corpse and fell to my knees and sobbed my eye out

I looked at his necklace and took it with me before Jasper picked me up and pulled me along to the car and I got into the passenger seat and he drove away the whole ride we didn't say anything and I just stared up ahead

||| Arc Academy |||

Jasper pulled up in front of the academy where an old man stood he had grey hair and a beard with blue eyes and was dressed like a sophisticated man this was the dean of the school Alfred Arc

He stood smirking as Jasper and Jason got out the car and walked to stand in front of him, Jasper nodded a little

Jasper: Dean

Alfred: Mr. Smith, I see you brought him along.

His eyes glowed as he looked over Jason who looked uncomfortable at the gaze from the glowing purple eyes and Alfred chuckled nodding

Alfred: So, it's true what your father told me.

Jason: Wait you knew my dad?

Alfred: Is he?

Jason nodded sadly and so did Alfred and they walked into the academy and through the halls which had students chatting amongst each other and others were practicing their magic in the common room

Alfred: Of course, I knew your father he was one of my best students back then. That's how he got the nickname "The Ronin" he was a fast learner and a strong magic user. Always calm when in danger and he was also quite the ladies man. That was before he met your mother...

He stopped when he saw Jason's face and sighed as well before they continued along the path towards his office they walked in and Alfred walked over to his desk and sat in the chair while Jason followed suite sitting in the chair in front of him

Alfred: So, did you know about the supernatural before this?

Jason: No, my dad told me about any of this even Jasper didn't. I only knew him,

He looked at his best friend who looked down ashamed he didn't tell him and that he couldn't save his family

Alfred: He couldn't because he swore to never tell anyone about the supernatural world. Besides if he did they would look for any supernatural and kill them or experiment on them.

Jason nodded before he looked at Jasper

Jason: What was that thing last night?

Jasper: That was a werewolf, part of the "Dark ones."

Jason nodded and looked at Alfred who knew what he was going to say and stood up walking over to his book shelf and picked out a book

Alfred: The dark ones are a cult of supernatural beings who sought out the destruction of the world and they want to raise an ancient being who is considered one of the dark ancestors for witches: Azazel the bringer of death.

He walked back to his desk handing Jason a book and he boy looked at it looking over the title

Alfred: To bring this ancient to this world they need a powerful being. It was supposed to be your father but they couldn't get to him because he was to powerful for them to try and contain, so they chose you. The last chimera, your father was the other Chimera but...

Alfred stopped himself from talking feel sad at the death of his former student and friend and cleared his throat and looked back to Jason

Alfred: I'll explain more but for now why don't you get settled in. You'll be staying in the same room as Jasper. I'll call someone to show you around

Jason nodded and Alfred pressed a button.

moments later a blonde wearing the school's uniform walked in and Jason looked at how she held herself before Alfred got up and hugged her and she hugged him back

Alfred: Jason this is my grand-daughter Malia she's going to show you around the school so you can get to know the place better without getting lost

He nodded and got up looking back to Jasper and he walked out the room following Malia out the door

The tour was still happening and they got to the common room where they stopped and Jason looked around at all the kids some of them were chatting while others were seated around in the chairs reading either a book or eating

Malia: And this is the common room. Where everyone gets to relax from all the boring teaching.

Jason chuckled looking at her

Jason: I'm guessing you don't like school that much, huh?

Malia: Yeah, c'mon.

They started walking up the stairs and through the hall and stopped in front of a door before Malia handed Jason a key

Malia: And this is your room key. So, see ya

Jason: All right, see you later I guess.

He unlocked the door and walked in closing it and he saw Jasper sitting on his bed reading a book the boy looked just to see Jason walk towards him and grab him by the hem of his shirt and threw him into the door

Jason: You fuckin' knew they were coming after me?!

He was cut off by Jason holding him against the door

Jason: We fucking swore never to lie to each other but you lied to me in the face. Why?! Huh?!

His eyes started glowing blue again before stepped back breathing heavily trying to calm down and he moved over to the wall and slid down holding his head in his hand and sobbed quietly

Jasper: Look, I wanted to tell you, trust me. but I couldn't tell you because I swore an oath to protect the supernatural world and to never tell human soul about it.

Jason: But I'm not human! *Sniffles* I'm not human, all this time I was living a lie.

He banged his head against the wall and Jasper walked over to seat next to him

Jasper: Trust me. You at least lived a normal life, my dad used beat my mom that's why me and Piper used to stay with you guys all the time.

Jason: I already knew that. Dad used to beat mom and me, too. Did it before Lily was born. *Chuckles* Didn't realize we have one more thing that makes us best friends.

Jasper: What's that?

Jason: Thar we both had shitty dads who used to beat the shit out of us.

Jasper chuckled and shook his head and so did Jason they looked forward before Jasper looked at his best friend and held out his fist and Jason looked at it before looking at him eyebrow raised

Jasper got up and looked out the window the sun going down and looked at Jason smiling

Jasper: C'mon., freshen up and meet me downstairs in the common room

Jasper: We gotta welcome you properly to the academy, my boy.

Jason chuckled taking the towel and soap Jasper handed and also the spare clothes and walked into the shower connected to the room

After I was done dressing up I walked down the stairs and into the common room where Jasper was waiting for me and we walked out the door and towards the woods where we could hear music coming from and I looked at Jasper who was smirking all the way

Jason: What's happening?

Jasper: Just like your old school we have a tradition as well, partying

We walked into a clearing where there was an old barn without the doors and kids were everywhere just laughing and drinking not a care in the world and I chuckled while Jasper walked towards the keg and I followed him he gave me a cup and poured some beer in it and poured one for himself as well

Jasper: Look, I know how it feels to lose your parents. So, we gotta get your mind of it before you turn into a suicidal chimera and try killing yourself.

He raised his cup and I raised mine as well before we downed our beers and I felt a burning sensation in my throat making me want to spit the beer out but I swallowed it

Jasper: Whoo!

Jason: What was that?

Jasper: Beer. Mixed with wolfsbane and vervain.

He chuckled and poured another two and handed me the cup and slung his arm over my shoulder

Jasper: C'mon meet my pack.

I chuckled at his enthusiasm and followed him to where a group of kids were sitting on a bunch of bunch of bean bags either smoking weed or drinking or chatting amongst themselves before they stopped when they saw us

???: Who's the new kid?

Jasper: This fellas is my boy Jason. We grew up together, so treat him with respect as you would me

???2: Alright.

He pointed at a dirty-blonde haired kid who was smoking some weed eyes closed before pointing at another kid who had raven-hair forest green eyes

Thierry nodded at me and I nodded back

He pointed at a redhead who smiled at me and I smiled back before Jasper whispered in my ear

Jasper: Don't try fucking her, she a hoe.

I nodded before he pointed at a girl walking towards us and I knew her since we grew up

She playfully glared at me before smiling and hugged me and I hugged her back

Piper: *Looks at Jasper* I'm not part of your pack, remember?

Jasper: *Sighs* C'mon, Pie. You have to join

She shook her head and I knew already never to get in between these two's arguments and snuck away walking through the party drinking from my cup before I bumped into someone and they turned around

Jonah: Hey! Watch where you're going, bitch!

Jason: Sorry, man won't happen again

He looked at me for a moment and chuckled

Jonah: You're new? Figures.

He stepped to me veins darkening under his eyes and his turning from their brown color to a dark shade of red and he snarl at me showing me his fangs

Jonah:: Next time I won't be so nice!

He shoved me and I fell on to my ass and he laughed

Jonah: Pussy.

I got up and shoved him back hard

Jason: Why don't you keep your hands to yourself.

I glared at him as he looked at me in shock and I heard the music stop and he got up

Jonah: You just made an enemy. Do you even know who I am? I am Jonah Ar--

I cut him off punching him across the jaw breaking it on impact sending him to the ground and I loomed over him

Jason: I don't give two shits who you are. Nobody tries and bitch me

I stomped on his hand just as Jasper came over and pulled me away from him and over to a tree

Jasper: What the fuck are you doing?! That's the dean's grandson!

Jason: So? Do I look like I give a shit?!

He stayed quiet while everyone went back to partying

Jason: Exactly. Now, I need a joint

He chuckled and we walked back to the party and over to the wolves who seemed to have increased maybe the others got here and I sat in a beanbag next to James who handed me the joint he was smoking and said in his British accent

James: New kid got some balls on him, innit? Welcome to the Academy! You're going to fit just right. Now if you'll excuse me I need to take a piss

He got up and almost fell back down and walked away pants down showing us his heart boxers, everyone chuckled and I did as well taking a pull from the joint. Life's gonna be fun here
