It was quiet and normal not a long time ago.

So how the heck did I get myself in this mess?

*hospital, monitors beeping, family around a girl, seemingly mourning "careful, we're losing her"*

I guess I would have to start at what seems to be the beginning…

I was out and about with my friends. It was a beautiful day. I am in college and the last lecture of the day just finished. Students were pouring out of the building like bees on a warm summer morning. And it was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, no clouds covered the sky. A cold breeze made the usually maddening heat this time of the day bearable. I smiled, threw my arms in the sky, and sighed deeply. "Freedom." I cried out. Suddenly, there was someone behind me, hitting my back and throwing their arm around my shoulder, before laughing as well. "It was only Chemistry, C. No need to get so excited about going home." a familiar voice giggled right next to my ear. I turned and grinned at my best friend, Rosa. "Why not? I can't wait to be done with it. And torture me all over again in university I guess." I sighed again. Major in Chemistry, then Medicine, my family's wish. So generic. I rolled my eyes. "Wanna hang?" Rosa winked at me. Her wide smile was very convincing. And I…honestly didn't want to go home yet. Boring, snobbish old home compared to a great night out with my best friend. That wasn't even a question. I faked hesitation for a bit to tease her. "Right….since it's Friday….I guess…I could make an exception. Just for you." I poked her on the nose. Now it was Rosas turn to roll her eyes. She knew that I would go to any party she came up with before going home on a Friday. Friday dinner. Ugh. Don't remind me. "Hah…alright princess." Her sarcasm out of this world with this one.

"I guess we got lucky then. Coincidently I've got an invitation for some crazy senior party today. Connections are everything you know…" She smirked.

"You call your brother a connection?" I smirked back and nudged her.

Rosa and her brother did get on rather well with her brother. That's why he always got her on the guest list of everything he was invited to. Another reason was, that she was unstoppable at partying like a wild animal. Guess his parents wanted him to keep an eye on her since it was impossible to contain her.

Party. Hm. Unsure I looked down at my school uniform. Then up to meet Rosa's eyes. Uh oh.

"No." She proclaims. Steadfast. "We are not going shopping today. I know how you get. Buying the whole store cause you can't decide on anything." Well, she's not wrong. I hesitate. She sighs.

"Fine. You can get a dress from my dresser if you really don't wanna go home. Just remember not to tell them that you're at my place. Remember the shit show from last time."

Uh nope, definitely not telling my parents. They would come yelling and drag my bag home to have dinner with them and study at that dusty old library all night.

"Yea, I just tell them I am at Tina's." Good old Tina. Someone you could rely on and a nerd. Fortunately, she owed me. I texted her and asked to cover for me and she confirmed a few minutes later. Smooth.

°Party at the villa°

Nice. That was a good house. Not too cheap, not too extravagant to be called arrogant. Real classy. The people who lived here had good taste. Rosa and I stepped out of the limousine, to be greeted by our other friends which were already here.

"Bloody hell, knew it was worth the wait.", K exclaimed.

"You two are absolutely gorgeous.", Z added on and the others nodded.

We were both wearing tight black dressed. Our long legs exposed. High heels. Rosa with her black hair in a straight ponytail. My red hair in curls that everyone had to be jealous of. Both of us a wide smile on our faces. "So, where the hot boys at?", I asked. J grinned. "I tell you. The owner of this house and his friends are OUT OF THIS world. Nothing can compare." "You say that every time." Laughter. "CUZ it's true!" Fair enough. J knew how to pick them. "Alright, ladies. We're all single. Let's get this party started.

----

We went through the front entrance together. Good looking girls always got attention. And we were rich too. All we had to do was stride to the pool and everyone was ours.

BEEEEEEEP.

I stumbled. What the fuck? "Did you hear that?" "What?" "That loud beeping noise. "C, is everything okay?" Irritated, I shook my head. "Yea, sorry. I probably just misheard. Annoying and distracting sounds go fuck yourselves. This was my evening and I wanted to enjoy it. In the meantime: We arrived at the pool behind the mansion. Where the real party had started. "So, where's the host?" I asked nonchalantly. Rosa eyed me knowingly, eyebrow raised. "Not wasting any time today, ay? Wanna drink with us first, to not scare them off or something?" "Fine." I smiled. I should probably do that. Drinking was normal for girls our age. Even though I wasn't particularly fond of it. But I have to admit, was curious, what they mixed together. They were rich. That should be expensive alcohol.

I filled a cup and took a sip. "Ugh. That tastes like water." My friends looked at me as if I was crazy. "This is the best mix I've ever put my lips on," J exclaimed and raised her cup in the air as if to challenge me. I grimaced. "If you think so…" I laughed it off. No need to get into an argument over this. After all, this was not the point of me coming to this party anyway. I slurped another cup of water-mix and let my eyes wander. Everyone here was young and attractive. No doubt. But where was the host? Or maybe he was not here and someone else was… "Hey there ladies. Care for some games?" Before us stood a nice looking guy, probably a senior, black hair and grey eyes. I had seen him around school before. He was popular. Probably with the host. "Sure, let's go." I smiled wide and the guy stumbled forward, flustered. Hmm. He led us to a room in the house where some people sat around a table. All very attractive. But there was one guy with an undeniable aura around him. Blonde, tousled hair, green emerald eyes, a smirk on his lips. I nodded as a greeting. "Uh Simon, you brought some people to complete the game. Awesome." His voice was nice and clear. Booming but not loud enough to be unpleasant.

"We…" BEEEEEEEEP I groaned. Ugh. Again?

"Everything okay?" His voice was appropriately worried. Good. But why was he interested already? I didn't even do anything. "Uh yeah, just had a bit to drink already." "Were gonna go easy on you then, ay?" I nodded. Then turned around to my friends. Why did it seem like only we two were talking? It was a bit awkward. "How do you guys want to split the teams?" ….it turned out to be ladies versus guys. The guys were good shots, but so were we. The host and I were getting closer through joking around. Jake, nice name. He also smelled nice. And even though the alcohol tasted like water, the effect did indeed start to set in. Everything was fuzzy and nice and I eventually nodded off. Rosa woke me up. "Jake wants to talk with you." She whispered in my ear. "What. Why?" I was awake now. What was that? Why would he already want to talk to me? And now?

I followed a smiling and a seemingly bit tipsy Jake out of the room. He took me to his bedroom. Quiet, as to not make anyone follow him. I hesitated, but let him lead me eventually. No harm in that, aye? I could always tell him to stop. Once in the room he pressed me against the wall and kissed me. I saw that coming and didn't recoil. He smelled nice, I give him that. His kissing technique was good as well. "I…wanted to do that all night." "Really?" I snickered. He nodded. Pressed his mouth against mine again. I shoved him away a bit. He was too eager. To aggressive already. "You wanna slow down a bit there, Jake?" Weird. That didn't seem to have any effect on him. I snapped my finger before his eyes. But there was no reaction, as he stared into my eyes with raw hunger. What was that expression? That shouldn't be…he came closer again. STOP. I said firmly. Not listening. Starting to undress my roughly. What the fuck? Why didn't he STOP? I shoved him away. "What the fuck, bro?" No reaction. I sighed and shoved him away, only for him to come back again. This was the worst. I…

"S.T.O.P. Simulation," I said in a clear voice and everything went black before my eyes.
