11 Chapter 11

In the meeting...

"Your majesty, people are complaining that the princess is yet to get married..It's about time she got married" One of the chiefs said.

The king had thought about this before and since it was concerning his daughter, he wanted to give her more time whether she had found the person she likes.

He cannot just give out his daughter to the person she did not like. because he cared about her happiness and mostly her feelings.

"Yes, anything else?" he asked them.

"Yes, we are lacking protection in this country and I would personally suggest that we have a barrier that keeps other country from invading us". Ying said.

"Okay let me think about it, anything else?" he asked again.

"No your majesty" they replied in unison.

"You are all dismissed" the king said and they all left.

I was walking around and father saw me, he asked me to come closer.

"Yes father" I bowed to him. "Sit" he ordered me.

I sat down facing him.

"Did you know why I called you here?" he asked me and I shook my head. I did not even have the slightest idea to why he called me.

"Okay, have you found anyone that you are interested in?" he asked me slowly.

"No" I replied shortly, I did not have the time to think about that. I would either be eating or practicing or reading.... I had no time for that.

"You know one of your responsibilities as the princess is to get married" he said and I understood what he meant. If I got married I would be used to get power and create an alliance with the kingdom, the prince I was married to.

"yes father" I said.

"Get ready, tommorow you are going meet your suitors" he said and I nodded. The main reason I agreed to this was that, I would not give my heart to the demon.

The demon would be able to change his mind about what he asked for and I would be able to save myself and the kingdom from any misfortune that would take place in the future.

Nathan was watching the big crystal bead. His eyes widened when he heard their conversation. what!, he must act fast now if he knows he wants to get her. But what should he do?, this was the first time in his life that he did not know what to do. Pacing up and down in his room, Zach entered. The guy doesn't even knock anymore, he just entered like as if the room and the house was his.

"Nathan, seriously I don't know what is going on with you anymore" he said as he sat down on the couch. Nathan wasn't even looking at him as he was busy with his own thought.

"Hey!" Zach yelled at him and Nathan looked at him with creased forehead.

"What?" He snapped back at him.

"Oh really, you have the audacity to shout at me, while I was helping you with the King" he said amused that the demon was furious.. Even though he got angry easily, it wasn't like this.

"Nathan, I am thinking that you are starting to go crazy" he said as he saw the crystal bead Nathan was looking at earlier.

"Oh it's her, no wonder why you are like this, you need to get yourself together, Nathan you can't be with that human" Zach told him.

"I know that you are here for something else, why don't you just mind your business and tell me what you came here for" Nathan demanded. He was losing his shit because of this demon who was pestering him.

"You haven't been coming for meeting for the past few days and the king is worried about you, he kept asking for you and I kept looking for excuses to give him, did you want all the lies to blow out one day?" he asked.

"Don't worry, nothing is going to happen, just keep helping me, I would not come" Nathan said and Zach shook his head. There was something wrong with this guy and he couldn't figure it out.

"Is there anything else?" Nathan asked and Zach shook his head. He got the message even if Nathan did not say it loud, he wanted to be alone. Fine. Zach sighed and left quickly.

Nathan teleported himself to Rose's room and there he saw her on the bed, reading. As if noticing him she raised up her head to look at him.

"Yes, what do you want now?, did you change your mind" I asked him.

"No, I told you already, what I asked for is final" he said, I could see that he was not joking at all.

"Lord Nathan, I really can't give you what you asked for, can you make my life more easier?, ask for something else please?" I begged him.

He turned his back on me "I told you already, what I asked for is final" he said again.

"You don't want to do your part of the deal, you leave me no choice" he said before vanishing.

"Wai..." I wanted to stop him, what did he mean by I left him no choice. What was he planning to do?, I realized that I was not taking this seriously, he is a very dangerous demon, what would he do to me If refused him. I hope he doesn't hurt my family because they have nothing to do with this.

I didn't see Nathan for the rest of the day and it was making me nervous, nervous in a bad way. What if he really wipes out my family. I had taken him for granted, I felt really stupid right now to think he would not do anything to me. I was a nobody to him so why would he spare me?.

Or should I go to look for him?, I waved the thought away from my head quickly, I would not be able to pass that rope and if I fall, what is the possibility that he would show himself to me?.
