Friends

Su Xin Yu rolled her eyes once again, which did not go unnoticed by the person still busying himself with the massage.

"So, then, my leader, would you accept it?" he made a fist with his hands and bowed down to her. Su Xin Yu, who was frowning just now because she was really reluctant to help him out, chuckled. This guy really knew how to please people.

Not that she was very happy about the situation.

"Fine. I will need some time to recover from this but I don't see any new groups forming for any expedition as of now. How about next week?" There was a one week vacation coming up and she had already planned to explore the second tunnel that she had discovered this time. But that was something she would do on her own. It looked like a dangerous place to take this newbie to. So, now she had to change plans.

On account of running away from this place, she would take him to one of the dungeons she had been meaning to explore but was not able to till now. It was a cave in the forest that was too easily accessible, and she had been putting it off precisely because of that.

"Are you sure? I would bring the diaries right away then!" Li Ming Hao's eyes sparkled with excitement. She had agreed to take him with her! All he had to do was show her those tattered notebooks filled with his mentor's notes. He himself did not understand half of them. This was easier than he had expected.

"Have you shown them to your dad before?" Su Xin Yu was curious. From the way he talked earlier, it did not seem like they were on best of terms. And she had to definitely take a note of that. Of course, it might all be a lie and this guy in front of her still be a spy for his dad. But her future plans involving this guy would definitely consider that point.

"No, no one knows their existence except you and me. There is no use in showing them to him, he would give them to his greedy friends who would want to decipher and take advantage of them. You, on the other hand, feel like the right person. How about we call them our little secret?" he winked to Su Xin Yu who shuddered at this playboy behavior again. Jeez, could this guy give a rest to spreading his pheromones for the wrong person?

"Okay, I will need to take my leave for now. Do you want me to help with the bandages?" Li Ming Hao asked her once he was done with the massage. Su Xin Yu was feeling pretty relaxed by now. The guy was suddenly leaving, so she felt a bit sad in her heart.

Although she had been exploring the dungeons since she was eight years old, after she came to know that her dad was thrown in here and that she could probably find a trace of him, she never had anyone as enthusiastic about the place as this guy. This, she never had anyone to discuss her theories, her discoveries with.

She was not going to reveal everything to this lad, she had to still see how loyal he was going to be to her. But she could at least share the thrill with someone finally!

The students that she used to take to the dungeons always treated her distant and sometimes outright, just as a guide. All they wanted to do was finish their assignments, rather than really look for anything. The overly enthusiastic students would only be after the treasures and would come out disappointed if they did not find anything. And the treasures belonged to the school, so they were all taken away anyway. A few students had successfully managed to steal and hide a few of things but quite many of them had gotten cursed.

Su Xin Yu had thought long and hard why did that stupid Dean did not get cursed although he was the one who stored everything away from the students? Was he using something or did he know something? She had no idea.

"No thank you!" she refused and blushed once she realized what this guy was asking for. Was seeing not enough, now he wanted to 'help' too? She calmed herself down, this guy would be death of her someday.

"Young Master Li, before I take you anywhere, I also need to know what kind of trainings you have, what kind of weapons you can handle and your medical report," she crossed her arms and informed the guy slowly.

"You mean to say you check that for each and every student before they do to explore?"

Su Xin Yu nodded. Li Ming Hao was impressed. This girl was not only handling Student's Council but also the administrative part of the small expeditions. On the top of that, she was exploring the dungeons on her own. How was she managing everything?

"Also, my name is Li Ming Hao, do you plan to call me young master Li all the time?" he said impatiently. They had gone through life and death situations together, should she not consider them friends already? They should be on full name basis now.

"You mean…"

"Call me by my name!" he said eagerly.

"Li… Ming Hao?" Su Xin Yu was unsure. From his academic status, he should be the same age as her but he could be her senior too. Calling him directly by his name… But then she saw how he beamed as soon as she called his name, she did not dare have any other thoughts in her mind after that. Okay, Li Ming Hao it was.
