11 Chapter 10: the trio unites
April 11th
Sunday 6:00
Hiori sleeping on her bed, her body slowly slips slowly at the edge of the bed.
Her phone rang loudly! Then she fell with a loud thud, her face hitting the floor first! She quickly got up her right hand on her face rubbing it gently and her other hand reaching for the ringing phone.
after a few seconds the pain subsided and then she looked at the screen of her phone, Riri-chan.
Hiori wondered why Matsuri would call this early, she stared at the screen then she answered it 'Hello? what's up?' her voice somewhat hoarse as she only woke up.
''hello~~ goodmorning yori my baby~~''
Hiori dumbfounded when she heard this, it's nothing new but... so early in the morning and this is what she hears...
''...''
''hello? yori you still there or are you giving me the silent treatment?~~ How cold~~''
Hiori sighed then she pinched ber nose and finally answered
''Hiori's asleep, call her later''
''ayy don't bother pinching your nose I know it's you! hurry up and come down~ im waiting downstairs!''
''what? why are you here? and why did you bother calling me?!''
''Morning call, im claiming it hehe''
Hiori rolled her eyes as she sighed
''...''
Matsuri said in a teasing tone ''my dear baby hurry up and come~~ im tired of waiting~~''
Hiori ignored Matsuri's joke, she was very tired. She answered her seriously ''alright give me a second.'' then she hang up.
Hiori didn't bother changing her pajamas. A dark green button shirt and a long silky shorts that shines when a light hits it.
she went to the toilet first and brushed her teeth then she went downstairs. Upon entering the living room she saw Matsuri already eating a plate of toast, Matsuri also saw her then she smiled at her then she said ''Good Morning~~''
Hiori nodded and said ''morning'' then she went to the kitchen, toast a bread for herself then she also went to the living room and sat at the sofa next to Matsuri, she took a bite on her toast then she asked, ''Where's mom and dad?''
''Auntie went out with a shopping bag, and Uncle wore a cycling clothes and dragged a bicycle...''
''hmm.. I see''
''yeah...oh and when did uncle learned how to ride a bike?''
''Just recently''
''Really? that's interesting..''
Hiori took another slice and bit a mouthful then she said ''spill it, im sure you didn't come visit just to eat some toast.''
Matsuri's mouth still full she chewed slowly and answered as she swallows the food on her mouth, ''Mhm, I came to exercise with you''
Hiori finished her toast and then she answered ''okay''
''then let's run around the neighborhood, the park's full of people when I walked pass it earlier''
Hiori nodded then she added ''of course. It's weekend.''
the two finished eating, Hiori went upstairs and changed her clothes to outdoor outfit suitable for running then they both grabbed a water bottle then they set off.

the sun was already out and it was kinda hot, after a few laps around the neighborhood the two finished at 9am. They both ran and did some light stretching, Hiori was so out of shape she was gasping for air in just two runs.
even if she started doing light exercises when she came back.. that still didn't help her.
the two stopped by at the convenience store, 7-eleven and brought a 1 liter of ice cream and a plastic worth of duct tapes that they forgot to buy yesterday and went back to Hiori's house.
it was already 9:45 when the two arrived, Mrs. Sakamoto was already done preparing for lunch, then she looked at the two girls full of sweat then she said with a smile
''The two of you go upstairs and take a bath, Mumei is also here she's at the living room. It's only us woman who will eat lunch today.''
Hiori and Matsuri looked at each other, the two talked with their eyes.
did you invite her?
no, but lucky you~ seeing her
bullshit you see you're other half everyday!
hmm.. you're right.
Mrs. Sakamoto interrupted their 'conversation'
''what are you two standing for? hurry up and take a bath~~ shoo shoo.''
the two of them got kicked out at the kitchen, the two of then chuckled then Hiori said to Matsuri that she can a bath first and the latter nodded.
Hiori went to the living room she saw Mumei sipping a cup of tea while watching TV
she coughed and smiled the latter heard her and looked at her direction, Mumei saw Hiori full of sweat she grabbed her handkerchief as she stood up then she went to where she is and wiped her sweat for her.
''exercise?''
Hiori was out of it at first then after a while she grabbed Mumei'd hand then she took the handkerchief then she wiped the rest of her sweat herself.
Hiori nodded ''mhm. wait here for a few minutes, Riri-chan and I will come down together.''
Mumei smiled as she replied ''Okay. Take your time.''
Hiori had a visible blush on her cheeks, She nodded as if she was a chicken pecking worms at the floor. Then she left the living room and went to her room. she grabbed her clothes and another pair for Matsuri.

The four woman at the house finished an early lunch, Mrs. Sakamoto kicked out the 3 lady out of the kitchen. With no other things to do the three of them went upstairs and hang around at Hiori's room.
it's been a while since the three of them hang out so Hiori's mom very happy when they visited her dear daughter so she kicked them out lest they will do the dishes when she did not.
After doing the dishes Mrs. Sakamoto peeled and sliced a few apples and peaches, she put it on the plate and grabbed a cool tea and three glasses then she put it on a tray. She went upstairs as she walk to Hiori's room she noticed the door slightly ajar.
Mrs. Sakamoto just stood there dazedly, as if she was only imagining things.

30 minutes earlier. The three of them decided to watch a film, Matsuri and Mumei sat on the carpeted floor while Hiori search what to watch.
they decided to watch a horror film, almost halfway through Hiori fell asleep while Matsuri's phone rang, she went out of the room to answer it.
Matsuri then went to the bathroom after the call leaving the two lost birds alone at the room.
going out the room after doing her thing she saw Mrs. Sakamoto standing at the front of Hiori's room, she walked to her side then she called put for her in a hushed voice ''Auntie~''
Mrs. Sakamoto looked at her back then she pulled Matsuri over then they went downstairs.
Matsuri doesn't know why Mrs. Sakamoto want with her but she still followed behind.
They went to the living room and sat on the sofa, then Mrs. Sakamoto puts the tray at the coffee table after then she stared at Matsuri in the eyes. The two stared at each other for a few moment.
Matsuri feeling a bit uneasy talked first. ''uhmm... auntie did I do something wrong?''
Mrs. Sakamoto sighed she looked at this girl in front of her who's probably feeling uncomfortable for the sudden 'interrogation' yet despite her feelings she still went and asked
''is my daughter and little meimei....''
Matsuri's eyes widened when she heard it then she quickly fixed her expression.
Mrs. Sakamoto saw the changes in Matsuri, she then thought to herself that what she saw was indeed real.
She didn't keep Matsuri any longer, she gave Matsuri the tray then she let her go.
Hiori and Mumei who was alone at the room at that time was now staring at each other.
10 minutes earlier...
Hiori was seating close at Mumei's left sidethat their shoulder often touch
she can't help but doze of a few times and finally fell asleep in middle, she was truly tired from the run.
Mumei noticed it she looked at her side and saw her head swaying slowly, she let Hiori lean on her shoulder, she gently position her head on her as to not wake her up. but despite it the latter did and Hiori who was out of it, moves her left hand slowly as it reached for Mumei's cheeks then she leaned closer reaching for those thin lips.
two face close to each other as both of their eyes closed, lips touching for a moment then slowly getting apart.
the two stared at each other, Mumei's cheeks went pink to red
Hiori blinked her eyes, if she didn't see Mumei's bright red face she would've thought that it was all just her dream!
Hiori was just about to say something but a loud footsteps were approaching hence she didn't say it.
Matsuri arrived at the room with a tray in both of her hand, as soon as she step foot on the room she notices the weird atmosphere in the air, she thought of possible things that would happen then she kept it to herself. She smiled and said loudly as she put it down at the small table ''Auntie cut us some fruit!~ may my little cuties have a bite~~!''
Mumei and Hiori both looked at the table with a plate of fruit and a cold tea, they silently pour a cup to themselves and took a few slices of fruit to their mouth, munching silently.
Matsuri then sat down and had a bite herself.
