Hae-won's POV:

It was two in the morning and gosh why the hell am I not getting any sleep?

I'm already frustrated and now I'm not getting any sleep...I need sleeeeeeeeep!!!!!

Suddenly I heard a loud noise from the ground floor.

At the speed of the bolt, I ran from my room in fear. When I reached the ground floor I saw my mum and dad arguing. It's just the same shit over and over again.

Well, long story short, my dad, a businessman who was in some kind of crisis, borrowed a big sum of money, and he is now struggling to pay it back. Well, one can say that he could have taken a loan in the bank but banks don't give money so easily and they make you mad before you get the amount in your hand. So, for people like us the private loan lenders (loan sharks) are the first priority. These people give the money without delay, but they make us pay double and triple the actual interest. We should pay back till we die a natural death or...

SUICIDE!

Even if the person who took the loan dies they catch hold of their sons or daughters or their family members and chase them and insult them till death.

Well, I can't be angry with my father personally either. He had done whatever a normal father should do for his child. And in that way he is perfect.

THIRD PERSONS POV:

Hae-won was standing near the kitchen while her parents were arguing.

Hae-won's mum: I can't take it anymore. Please! don't you know how embarrassing it is when they stand in front of the house and shout so loud that even the neighbors peek outside to see what is happening?

Hae-won's dad: Please can you stop it for some time? I'm already irritated and I don't know what to do.

Hae-won's mum: You always say the same shit. Can't you try and find a solution? You were the one who took the loan and we did not even spend even a single cent of that money for ourselves. I'm serious, they shouted so loudly in the morning that if we don't pay them back within two weeks' time were done for good. Because of your problem, I don't want my daughter to suffer. She just finished her studies.

Hae-won's dad: Hae-won is my daughter too. I won't just let them hurt her in any way. I know that we did not even give her a proper and happy life. And I'm already feeling guilty for that.

Hae-won: Dad please don't say that. Don't worry I already spoke with a company and they are willing to recruit me. I will do my best to help yall out.

Hae-won said while trying to give a genuine smile and hugged both her parents. Little did they know what is going on inside their daughter's mind.

Hae-won's thoughts: There's no other way than to accept Mr. Kim's offer.

She wiped her tears.

2 MONTHS EARLIER________________________________________

Hae-won's POV:

I was in my last year of schooling. Yass!!!! no need to carry these shitty notes and books. No need to stay up late and study.

While thinking all these I suddenly felt two arms over my shoulder. I already knew who they were, the same cologne. One is lavender and the other one is a fresh ocean fragrance, the smell which makes me feel at peace. They are my besties. (Hyunseok aka seokie ; Jungeun aka eun-ah)

Hyunseok: Hello sweet cheeks, good morning, may ur day be as bright as I am.

Seokie said with a bright smile and shaking me up.

Jungeun: Hyung stop it, Hae-won might get dizzy if you do this.

Eun-ah made Seokie stop what he was doing.

Hae-won: Thank you my baby Eun-ah.

I thanked Eun-ah while patting his head, he looked down while blushing which I noticed.

Eun-ah was my childhood friend from kindergarten. Seokie came in between when we were in our middle school at the age of 11-12.

Seokie, Eun-ah, and I became close due to a group assignment and dance practice. We were our class dance representatives more like 'the trio dance group'.

Eun-ah and I were actually rivals on the first day of our kindergarten.

I was made to sit next to Eun-ah and with curiosity, I touched his bunny pouch and that's all I remember before falling from my chair and crying my ass off. The teacher shouted Eun-ah and spoke to his parents. I felt bad for him and pulled my mum to where the teacher was talking with Eun-ah's mum.

My mum fell in love with Eun-ah at first sight, his doe eyes, and chubby cheeks, and his coconut hair cut. Well, who will not tho!

THIRD PERSONS POV:

Teacher: Mrs. Han your son pushed a student on his first day itself. Please do teach him not to be rough with his classmates. He is not even opening his mouth when I talk to him and ask him something.

Jungeun's mom looked at him while the little one just put his head down without uttering a word.
