"Each housing building has 4 bedrooms. There are 5 buildings. There will be two of you per room. " Leo held out a chart with names on it.

I could feel eyes all over me. I was the only female in our squad.

"What about her?" Private douchebag nodded at me. Why did he feel the need to bring me into everything?

I sighed and crossed my arms. Curiosity did begin to pick away at me.

"She will have a solo room. Anymore dumb questions, Privates?" Leo held up the chart and began listing names off for the houses.

About half way down I finally heard my name.

"Riley Earningst, Derek Wilson, Leo Perrish, Avery Thompson, Tyler Blake, Casper Longhorn, and Shelton Harrison. You guys are house 2. Please see Sergeant Davis for the address." Leo continued reading off names.

I was stuck with Derek in my house, great. I was hoping for anyone except the pervert.

"Yo princess, think you can walk around the house in one of those big tshirts?" A short man asked, blonde hair covering his eyes.

"Who are you?" I asked and cocked my head down at him.

"Shelton," He extended his hand outwards and I just stared at it.

Was he really trying to shake my hand after his previous comment?

"I'll tell you what Shelton," I took his hand,"I'll wear one of those big tshirts and thigh high socks, if you get castrated." I winked and shook his hand.

"Can I reverse it afterwards?" Shelton, I'd have to come up with a nickname for him too.

I rolled my eyes and headed over to Sergeant Davis. It was a quick and easy process getting the address and a set of keys to the house.

Which turned out to have absolutely nothing inside.

I walked through the front hallway, which had bare walls and cold hardwood floors. It lead to the kitchen and dining room.

The kitchen had beautiful dark marble countertops and dark oak wood cabinets. There was an island in the middle with a open middle.

It was a gorgeous kitchen. I prayed we had enough free time to actually use it. It'd be a shame for it to go to waste.

"I see she's found her room." Derek made a snarky comment from the beginning of the hallway.

A few of the other men laughed until they noticed the death stare Leo was giving them from the front door.

"I'm going to make this very clear, Earningst is one of you. You will treat her as such or you will be blacklisted." Leo kept his eyes on me as he talked. He seemed to have a habit of doing that.

It was creepy.

"Sir yes sir." Shelton did a half salute and headed up the stairs, probably to checkout the bedrooms.

I prayed I got one with a good view. I didn't care about size.

"Riley," Leo waved me over and nodded down another hallway down here.

"Yes sir?" I asked and looked where he was looking.

Well maybe for a second. Then my eyes somehow moved on their own back up to his face.

"Down that hallway there is a bedroom, bathroom, and a back door. Your room is on the left." Leo looked down at me and my head snapped towards the bedroom.

"Awesome, Thank you, Sir." I nodded and attempted to go see the room but Leo's arm on my waste held me in place.

"Leo. Not sir. Next time, there will be consequences." He whispered and a chill went down my spine.

"Sorry, Leo." My voice was now husky and breathing seemed impossible, was I getting sick?

"Better." Leo released me from his hold and went upstairs with the rest of the guys.

What just happened?
