1 Prologue

"Jun wait!" A tall black-haired male shouted down the hallway of his apartment complex, watching as the love of his life started to leave the building.

"No, Soobin." The blue-haired male spoke clearly, continuing to walk down the corridor.

"Junnie please!" Soobin left his apartment, slamming his door shut behind him.

"Soobin god dammit I said no!" The blue-haired male turned around, stomping his foot onto the stiff carpeted flooring.

"Y-yeonjun please...it was just a mistake! I didn't mean it!" Soobin started pleading, tears starting to spring out of his eyes.

"Soobin I just need some time to think this over..to think us over..." Yeonjun trailed off, crossing his arms over his body in attempts to keep warm.

His thick grey sweater was torn in several spots, which caused his body heat to decline drastically.

"Junnie.." Soobin tried to reach out to the smaller male before him, to which the blue-haired stepped back from.

"Soobin I can't take this anymore..I just need a break from you.." Tears started pouring from Yeonjuns eyes.

"A-are you..?"

"No soobin, I'm not breaking up with you...like I said..I just need some time, okay?" Yeonjun asked, looking towards the ground.

Soobin choked out a sob as he watched Yeonjun spin on his heel and continue walking down the corridor.

Soobin picked himself up and pulled himself together long enough to walk back to his apartment.

It wasn't his fault!

How was he supposed to know Hyerin was going to kiss him while they were studying?

Ah yes..the antagonist of this story.. Ahn Hyerin.

She was the devil incarnated, always doing whatever she could to get her way.

Everyone felt bad for her sister, it blew their minds how such a kindhearted soul could put up with such a bitch.

Soobin stumbled into his apartment, shutting the door and locking it, before collapsing against the kitchen cupboards and sobbing.

His dog, minnie, waddled up to him and set her head in his lap and wagging her tail back and forth slowly, as if asking what's wrong.

"H-hey minnie...I'm okay, Junnie and I just had to talk...he won't be coming over for a bit.." Soobin sniffed out, petting the small dogs somewhat soft fur.

Minnie is a black and white border collie-Corgi mix, she's always had insane amounts of energy ever since she was a puppy.

The dogs tail stopped wagging and her ears flopped against her head, causing the fur to slightly spread apart.

"He said we needed a break because of what the bitch Hyerin did.." Soobin chuckled before crying again.

The dog started to lick his cheeks, as if saying 'Don't cry, Soobin-ah, it'll be okay in the end'.

Soobin slowly calmed down while petting Minnie, but there was still this lingering sadness in his heart.

Maybe this was for the best?

Maybe a break is just what he and Yeonjun needed, yeah.

Their friends were telling them they were spending too much time together and that the honeymoon phase would end eventually.

Soobin stood up from his spot in the kitchen and started walking to his room.

He opened the door to he bedroom and expected to be able to flop onto his bed and pass the fuck out.

But no.

His life just had to fuck him in the ass, again.

"What do you want, Hyerin?" Soobin asked, drying his tear-streaked cheeks.

"Soobinnie oppa...I want you to go out with me!" Hyerin chirped, pulling her skirt up to her waist, causing the entire bottom half of her ass to hang out of the skirt.

"Are you fucking serious?" Soobin asked, clenching his jaw.

"W-why is oppa mad?" Hyerin's confident smile faltered.

"You fucked up my relationship with Yeonjun, that's why! And stop calling me 'oppa' it's fucking annoying.." Soobin snapped, causing his dog to slowly walk out of the room.

"But you didn't love him anyways! You love me, remember?" Hyerin spoke confidently once more.

"What? The fuck? No I don't, if anything I despise you." Soobin leaned against his table.

"Then why did you pick me to be your partner?" She crossed her arms and shifted her weight to her left hip.

"I didn't, the teacher assigned us as partners. Plus you didn't even do any work, so technically, I could claim I worked on this alone." Soobin stood straight walking towards the girl.

She smirked, "oh yeah?"

Hyerin pressed herself against Soobin, causing the male to audibly gag.

"Hyerin, get the fuck out. You're no longer welcomed here." Soobin said, grabbing the girls' stuff and handing it to her.

"B-but-"

"No 'but's Hyerin, you fucked up my relationship, you kissed me without consent, and you have the audacity to flirt with me after Yeonjun said we're taking a break." Soobin started to push the shorter out of his apartment.

"Which- by the way- if I wanted to, I could take you to court for sexual harassment." He said as he finally got the girl out if his home.

She gasped, "you wouldn't dare!"

"I would, bitch." Soobin slammed the door on her fake-tanned ass and returned to his room to flip onto the bed.

He was emotionally and physically drained.
