Julis and Alex stared at the paper with utter disbelief.
"H-How did I improve this much? It took you around a year or so to reach any of your categories to a hundred!" The girl said to him, disbelieving, she was trying to wrap her head around this development.
"That's your new skill 'Witch's Ambition', it accelerates your growth as long as you continue to pursue your ambition," Alex explained to her.
What she got is a similar type of skill Bell has manifested at the beginning of Danmachi…
'Shonen types… how can they produce this much emotion out of nowhere? From the looks of it, this skill was influenced by DxD, making it even more potent, I thought such growth was only possible with Dragon-type gear…' The teen's expression turned into one of bafflement as he realised that.
"I see. But, why Witch's Ambition of all names!?" She turned at Alex with a pouty look.
"Hey! You are the one who manifested it, this skill's original name is Realis Phase, but you somehow manifested a superior version of it, and subconsciously named it yourself." He pointed that out.
Julis looked away from him, not wanting to continue this embarrassing theme of conversation.
It's embarrassing to her that her wish to prove herself to him manifested in some powerful skill!
"Anyway, the best part of this Julis is that your training will progress much faster now." Alex quite excitedly explained to her.
The girl in question slowly nodded, she wasn't THAT happy about it, because for one she just in a way mocked Alex's one year of hard work with this skill!
"I see…" She just said two words before moving the pillow away and then scooped closer to him and leaned on him.
For the next few minutes, they just sat like this before Alex decided to mention what happened after Julis passed out.
"Our training was observed by the Student Council, Julis."
Julis turned stiff and looked at him seriously.
"And you decided to mention that only now?" She said with an annoyed sigh.
"It is not a big problem, tomorrow we will go to talk with them, I can guess that Sitri will reveal everything about the supernatural because I told her that we know the bare minimum, the less they know about the multiverse for now the better."
"I suppose that's for the best, tell me everything…"
Alex nodded and told everything about the meeting.

"I can't believe she buys that explanation! It's quite a stretch!" Julis said with a baffled look.
"Not really, that's where the status of top my of class and nearly top of the whole school comes into play, plus I mentioned one of the Satans and how Gremory is not hiding her surname at all," Alex said with a smirk, yes all that hard work of doing homework and studying eventually pays off, people like Sona cares about grades a lot and it's easier to sell a doubtful story when it comes from a mouth of a top student.
"That's… I don't know if I should be in awe of the fact that you using your status as a top student to lie like this…" She shook her head but then just sighed.
"As long as it works, it's fine. But, our progress will raise a lot of eyebrows and suspicion." Julis mentioned that as she looked at her stats sheet.
She already has magic above one hundred!
"Hmm, yeah we can still hide our magic. So we still have some wiggling space there."
"Yes, that's true, but we need to join some faction, as the way we progress will attract the wrong type of crowd." Julis reasoned.
"Hmm, true, for now, we should focus on meeting Sona and see what she will say." Alex nodded at her reasoning, which was very sound.
Yet he has no intention of just turning into the Devil, gaining their weaknesses and enemies, especially enemies and stigma of a Devil.
He can guess that most factions don't look favourably at the Biblical Faction and the devils even more.
Their rapid expansion in lands that used to be controlled by Greeks, Gaelic Pantheons…
No wonder Hades quite despises them.
If his guess is right, the Biblical faction was around only for 2,1k+ years.
While others like the Greeks were around twice as long…
For now, Alex just going to wait and see how it develops.
"Yes, I suppose you're right." Julis nodded at him and then looked at what he was holding in his hand.
"Oh! Another book? What is it about!?" The girl quickly forgot about the serious talk and got excited about the book he was holding.
"Basics of Arcane is quite a fascinating read about magic energy, it explains how it reacts to things, how spells work, how interacts with other energies…"
"It's quite the most neutral energy which can work with any other energy, the most adaptable just like humans are," Alex explained to Julis who listened attentively.
"Interesting, you will give it to me to read once you are done okay?" She asked him nicely, for a second Alex imagined her doing a cute expression, which he knew an anime girl could do it.
"Sure…you will have a chance to read it tomorrow." Alex chuckled while saying that.
He will be done by tomorrow, as he will be reading it in his dungeon.
"I haven't finished the previous one, and I don't want to speed-read it, it's far too interesting!" The pinkhead exclaimed.
"Sure take your time, oh another thing, I got a Sacred Gear which allows one to control fire. Something like Pyrokinesis, I think it would vastly improve your power over fire, what do you think?" He asked her while his hand snaked around her waist.
"Sounds interesting, but what about you?" She looked back at him.
"You are the one who got in first place…"
Julis asked this as she is feeling quite conflicted as she is constantly getting things from him while not giving anything back.
"I already have something in mind, only need good timing, while this Sacred Gear is not that useful to me." He said with a shrug, he then pulled his phone out with his other free hand and summoned a green card from it.
"Here, I far as I remember you will be able to use white flames and create weapons from pure fire." He explained what he remembered about the Sacred Gear.
Julis looked at the green card, more exactly at the picture of the card.
It was something between bracelets and gloves surrounded by white flames.
Julis just sighed and moved the card away then looked at Alex.
"You know I can't just keep on receiving things from you like this." The girl said with an exaggerated look.
"Well, I was the one who summoned you into this mess of a place," Alex said with a guilty look.
Julis sighed again hearing that.
"I would not be here if I hadn't agreed to come, I am here because I chose to come, I was not forced or anything of that sort, remember Alex, you used a Legendary card did you not?" While Julis can't tell stuff directly she can work around it.
Julis has no idea how Alex would react if he knew how she ended up here.
"Well, yes, I did. But, still, if you are here of your own volition, then it means something happened in your Earth did it not?" The teen asked the girl, who slightly raised her eyebrow.
'Maybe it's sounded not complete nonsense when he can speak like that, no wonder Sona believed him…'
"Yes, it did. But, your experiences are much more than my ones, I did not get stabbed by truck size boar…" Julis shook her head while saying that.
"Well… in that case, I am happy to hear that you are here of your own free will," Alex said while relaxing more.
Julis felt through her empathic connection that he was relieved to hear that from her.
"Believe me you would be first to know if I was here by force." She raised her eyebrow sharply, implying that there would be a lot of fire and probably dead bodies lying around.
"Yes, thought so, it was odd that you didn't try to burn me the very first moment we met." He said while chuckling with amusement.
Julis instantly pouted at him.
"I don't know where you picked that up, but I don't do that!" She defensively said that.
"You do realise that I saw your second year in Seidoukan?" He tried to tease her but, Julis' eyes bulged out hearing that.
"Y-You saw my second year?" She asked with disbelief.
"Well, yeah…" He did not expect such a reaction from her.
"I see… and how was it? I never had a chance to attend my second year." She said with a regretful sigh.
"Well, you won the Fiesta for one."
Her eyes grew very big this time.
"I see… that good…" She said that while looking away.
She was silent for a few minutes before taking a deep breath.
"I-If you ever get a chance to visit my Earth will you take me with you?" She softly asked without looking at him.
A snort escaped his lips, as she looked at him.
"Why I would not take you with me? That's like going on holiday without taking one's other half?" He said that while shaking his head.
Julis giggled for a second, before leaning completely on him, snuggling similarly to how a cat does.
"That's great then, I think I struck gold with this…" She very quietly said that to herself.
"Hmm, did you say something?" Alex said from his side, that he was very much liking this show of affection by the pink-haired girl.
"Nope. Just enjoy this privilege!" She said that with the cute tsundere-like look, there was no bite in her more like trying to hide her embarrassment, which appeared from nowhere from his perspective.
"Heh, since I got the green light…"
Julis' eyes widened when she realised what was about to happen.
Seconds later she was sitting on his lap…
"Fine… you can do that… no hands wondering though!" She said that while looking back at him.
"That's fine with me… by the way, I finished my homework if you want you can copy it or use it as a reference."
Julis' eyes once again widened, she then jumped out from his lap in a small panic, and her eyes quickly went to the clock on the wall.
"Oh, no!" She realised that it was close to bedtime.
"As I said… I already did mine, and you can copy it if you want." Alex said with a sigh, he should not mention that, but he knew the girl would have panicked even more at a later hour.
She turned around and looked at him, there was quite a bit reluctant to accept his help.
Another sigh escaped his lips.
"Should I use your words on you?" He smirked at her.
"Fine, I accept! But, I will only use them as reference." She caved in with a huff.
And Alex could only grin internally.
'Breaking her Tsun Tsun attitude one day at a time!' He chuckled internally as he showed her his notebooks on the table… he was already prepared.
"Okay, let me get my bookbag!" She was about to walk, but Alex got her attention.
"Julis… your card." He casually gave her the green card which he picked up from the bed.
She looked at it for a moment, before sighing and taking it.
"Good girl."
She pouted at him when he said that.
Once she left the living room, Alex decided to continue reading the new book.
Since he realised that he could directly manipulate his magic, he bypasses a lot of bothersome stuff, but since he developed something similar to Lightning type, he is quite limited to that, as everything else will be harder to use.
Not that he cares about those, his Lightning is two-fold! And if he is lucky enough he will get Booster Gear!
Then his electricity will be even stronger!
