Memory Awakening

Eventually, Julis caught up with the diary's last entry.

She was relieved, relieved that her body was still pure, and no thanks to her counterpart!

According to the dairy she tried to push Alex down multiple times since they were 15…

It would be either their parents who interrupted or her older brother, or some other silly thing…

It's either how the world rearranged for her arrival or something else.

She does not doubt if her counterpart was that in love they would have lost their virginity long ago.

Either way, Julis realised that her counterpart had gone quite far with her boyfriend.

No wonder she feels so close to him…

According to the diary, her counterpart was planning for this move to Japan for a long time.

To escape her parents and be with Alex properly…

'Damn, she was quite serious with all of this…'

Julis felt quite conflicted with this, replacing her counterpart felt wrong to her.

But, then again this only existed because Alex used two cards at the same time.

'Those cards, just how dangerous are they?'

The girl shook her head and decided to focus on now, her counterpart was maybe gone. But, she learned a lot about her…

And many things which she does not want to mention to Alex. But, he needs to know, she was doubtful that he had a diary like her counterpart did.

Still, a smile appeared on her face, now she knew much more about her boyfriend than ever before!

It somewhat evens out the playing field for her! Maybe even more! He only saw her second year in Seidoukan while she has around 8 years of material! To use for reference!

Much more than he does, after all, she already saw his reaction when she showed hand-to-hand combat!

The counterpart Julis was meticulous about her boyfriend just like how she was about fighting…

So, she knows all the small details, now however she needs to find out if they are true or not.

As all this is from Alex from this world, yet she knows the one from before overwrites…

Eventually, Julis got herself together, she put back her diary.

She plans to reread it later for now she needs to see Alex.

The girl walked to the living room where she saw him reading a book, which looked like another Tome of sorts.

The Pinkhead then walked over and got to sit next to him, just like before, she felt like it was something she had been doing for years…

Eventually, she opened her mouth and then closed it, trying to think how to start this most embarrassing conversation she had in her life so far.

"The way it seems you have found some information." He helped her by starting the conversation.

"Y-Yes and it was something I have not expected at all." She sighed before moving even closer to him, the girl took the book from him and closed it.

Then, she ended up sitting on his lap, sideways, while turning around to face him.

This was the first time that Alex saw such an assertive Julis.

"We are going to need to practise quite a lot to make sure our parents are not suspicious," Julis said between sighs and blushes.

Perfectly honest she doesn know if she will be able to copy the previous her, the girl was planning her wedding since she was fifteen…

Her elder brother knows, her mother knows even her father knows.

Most of all, they all knew it was serious and not some joke.

So, it wouldn't work if she is out of nowhere, stopped being touchy with him, or not sitting on his lap at least once per day.

Nope, her parents would be suspicious, and that is something she doesn't want at all.

"Okay… you found quite a bit did you?" He asked with realisation.

"Yes, quite a bit… around 8 years of material…" She clarified which made him raise his eyebrow.

"And it's…"

"While your character is quite similar, apart from that you like to travel a lot, and spend lots of money on weird stuff, everything else is quite similar… while me…" She looked away from him, as rosiness started to manifest from her neck to the cheeks…

"While...I was planning our w-w-wedding since I was fifteen…" she said while not looking at him.

"...wow, thanks whatever Deity there is that allowed you to find that… otherwise I'm sure our parents would do some weird shit to us while trying to figure out what happened." He said with some relief.

While the crass word he used was not necessary, she agreed with him.

He has no intention of asking for help from Devils or other supernatural powers to fix such a thing.

Owning favours with them is much more serious than owning one with regular humans.

Especially if they use contracts, nope! it's better if they act or something similar to that. After all, they will be away from them for the foreseeable future, and people grow up and do change… not a lot. But, still, they do that.

"Yes… and now." She turned back at him seriously, Alex was thinking what in the world is going on in this girl's head?

Animes used to make things simple, especially Shonen and now his Waifu is doing weird stuff!

The next moment Julis leaned forward and kissed him.

Her eyes were closed and she didn't look. But, at that moment something clicked inside of her.

And memories started to flow… foreign ones yet very, very familiar.

Much younger Julis showed a magazine of sorts to Alex, she was grinning from ear to ear.

"Darling~ this magazine here can teach us how to be the perfect couple, from hand-holding and much more." She proudly showed a magazine which only teen girls usually look at.

"Where in the world you got this Julis?" Much younger Alex asked from his side of the couch.

"Does matter! Now let's practise!" The girl wants to test everything there is in that magazine!

The next memory was of slightly older Julis from the previous one.

In this one, she was lying on top of her boyfriend and looking at him with a grin.

"Do you like my new method of waking you up?" The pinkhead asked with a somewhat sultry look.

"You won't hear any complaints from me," Alex answered back, he was enjoying this new method of waking up which was her sneaking into his bed.

"Wonderful, I am glad to hear that you like it~. Now, let me show you the next phase of you waking up…" She said that with a nearly singing voice, as she moved in and started to kiss him.

In another memory Julis, slightly older than the previous one, was sitting on Alex's lap while facing him, they were in quite an intimate position, and their clothes were quite ruffled.

*Ahem*

Both of them snapped out from their hot session and looked at the source.

It was Julis' older brother who didn't know how to react to this situation, as he was slighly conflicted.

On the one hand, he was very happy about how his sister got together with Alex, while on the other hand, Julis was way too much…he never saw someone who was in love with someone...

"Julis… just because you have not seen Alex for a month it doesn't mean you should jump on him like some starved cougar." He said with a sigh.

Julis rolled her eyes at him and huffed.

"Brother, don't you have a meeting to attend?" Julis asked with an annoyed voice, once again she was interrupted! Every time she wants to go all the way, she gets interrupted! As if someone does that on goddam purpose!

"I do, and you realise that Alex is the Heir to Komnenos fortune?" He asked while crossing his hands.

"Well, Of course, I do! Am his future wife!" She said with an annoyed voice, while Alex just looked at this with an amused look.

He was annoyed that their time got interrupted. But, at the same time, he was amused in watching the bickering between these two.

"Yes, I know you told me that for the past 4 years now?"

"Three years and five months to be exact!" Julis clarified.

"Yes, yes, what I am saying right now is that the meeting which I am supposed to be at IS with the Komnenos group right now, and Alex is supposed to be there too, he is taking the group over in the future after all!"

Julis blinked owlishly for a second before connecting the dots very quickly.

"Oh.."

"Oh, indeed little sister. Now, if you excuse me, I need to take Alex with me, you can continue this later date."

The pinkhead finally moved off from Alex, she then helped him to look more presentable, straightening the suit he was wearing.

"I do hope you realise little sister that I am still too young to be an uncle." The redhead brother of hers said with a teasing grin which Julis promptly ignored because she was inspecting Alex's suit.

His eyebrow twitched for a second seeing that his comment was completely ignored!

All these memories and much more slowly started to reveal themselves to Alex and Julis.

The pinkhead was affected the most, as she just experienced a completely different life in such a different world from her old one.

Her eyes slightly turned glazed as she leaned back slightly before touching her lips with her hand.

A soft giggle escaped from her lips, as she lovingly looked at Alex, finally, finally she was alone with him halfway across the world!

"Talking about blowing one's mind with a kiss…" While Alex was in shock too, unlike Julis his shock was slightly different because of the scale of his family fortune now, same with all these memories, all the places he has visited over his life…

Most of the important landmarks he already has visited! Before even turning fifteen!

That's not all! he remembered that he had booked a flight to Athens in just a couple of months!

It's a holiday leave for two weeks, in which Alex and Julis alongside their families will be relaxing and visiting ancient places, one of those rare get-together moments...

'While it sounds awesome and all, I have a feeling there will be more to this…'

"Yes, Darling…" Julis said to him as she leaned forward and laid down on his left side while putting her head on his shoulder.

"So, you going to call me 'darling' now?" Alex asked with a very curious look, while he had all these memories, even remembering a bunch of nonchalant and trivial info, it was not enough to completely change who he was…

"Do you remember our first meeting?" She asked him from her side forgetting about his question for a second.

"The one where I summoned you from the card?"

*Snort*

"Not, that one, the other one." She clarified.

"The one where we got introduced as kids?" He said that with a confused look, why she was asking that?

"Hmm, then you remember, that means I can continue to call you Darling…" She nodded to herself and just continued to relax by leaning on him.

Now, Alex was confused even more, what was happening with his waifu?

After relaxing a bit more, Alex and Julis had to finish their homework, this is where Alex noticed the influence of the memories.

Before this, he cared quite a bit about his homework, now, however…

He had the urge to be the best, to excel and wipe the floor with any competition, he can only accept Julis as someone who stand with him at the top.

And such thoughts quite spooked him, alas he decided just get over it be done with.

After finishing homework they went to the kitchen to cook, this is where Alex noticed a difference in Julis, and some of the memories related to that have surfaced.

His counterpart was a pathetic chef, while Julis' counterpart was an amazing chef…

Now...both of them are amazing.

*Sigh*

'Why my life is so confusing now…'
