Fixing Scars

Alex groggily opened, he had one of the best sleeps of his life!

That moment his eyes snapped open fully, he instantly realised something wrong!

He didn't enter the dungeon last night!

'What the hell happened? Why there was no notification or anything like that!?' He lay in his bed for quite some time trying to get over the fact that he missed a night of grind.

Without even realising his hand wrapped around something soft and warm next to him on the left side.

…

Eventually, it came to him what it was, he remembered that Julis would quite often end up sleeping in his bed, and then sneak out in the morning.

That stuff would happen quite rarely as his parents and other members of his household know her behaviour and tendencies…

So, they would keep looking for her if she was not in her assigned room…

Now, however…

They live alone, and Julis practically decided that her room would be a storage room, while his room was now the bedroom…

The absurd change in personality was quite something else…

Pity that she has no idea about his favourite quotes as many of his favourite shows are not even in making or the authors have not been inspired to make them yet, as it would be perfect!

Even so, her sleeping next to him like this is amazing even with that feeling that it's nothing new, having his waifu like this was the best.

Laying down a few more minutes Alex looked at the clock on the wall, he realised that they needed to wake up otherwise they wouldn't be able to get breakfast.

So, he started the process of waking up the beauty sleeping next to him.

First, he started to stroke her hair, there was some sort of reaction from her, he should not trust much of the memories he received, as Julis from Asterisk is still there.

Slowly she lifted her head and groggily looked at him.

"Morning...Darling…*Yawn* is it time to wake up?" She asked him while not even looking at the clock.

The girl was waiting for him to answer that.

"Yeah, if we hurry we should have enough time to get some breakfast." He explained to her.

She nodded in turn, pity that Julis didn't have that much time she would have made something nice!

After all, she now has years of experience and training in how to cook as she was preparing to become the best wife possible!

'This, this just shows how ridiculous those cards…' Julis internally grimaced, realising that her counterpart was the result of two cards activating at the same time.

Still, the good part is that she has another set of memories and a bunch of skills related to the household.

"So, darling how was the dungeon?" Julis asked him as she got up from the bed.

Alex's eyes went to her, he might have memories of seeing her body. But, seeing her first-hand still beats any sort of memory.

Especially if she is using his t-shirt as sleepwear…

"Well, I could not enter it today." He said with a shrug.

Julis turned towards him when she heard that, she was relieved that nothing had happened, and same time disappointed that he hadn't become even more powerful.

And then concerned too, because the dungeon was Alex's way of getting powerful in case something big came up, as no one knows with this place which has supernatural.

"Still, I believe I have a hunch of what is going on…" Alex said to her as he got up from his bed and went over to the wardrobe to pick up his uniform.

"Yesterday, most of the day I had a migraine, and felt like I was only 50%, today however I feel that I am at 100%..."

Julis hummed in understanding.

"So, it like balancing out? Or more like a recoil perhaps? This poses a question, you've been away around for a year and you only had a migraine… Now, however, the effect was much worse, and you could not enter the dungeon next night…" She said that while walking over to him with narrowed eyes.

"This means you have been away MORE than a year, maybe two…" She was now standing in front of him with both hands on her hips.

"I am not my counterpart, Alex. You won't have a nice time if I am angry at you. So, I am warning you, if this is to happen again I am taking the boyfriend privileges." She said that very seriously.

Alex quickly raised his hands, he was not planning to lose his right! Nope! Not when his lovely waifu was so close to him now.

"I understand! I won't going to get carried away like this again!"

She slowly nodded and her serious expression disappeared, it was replaced with a familiar smile.

"Glad to hear that Darling~" She gave him a peck and started walking to her 'storage' room.

"I am going to take a shower, wanna join?" She asked sultrily.

Alex just rolled his eyes at her.

"We barely have 30 minutes Julis, ask this when we have time in spades." He said with a sigh.

"...I suppose you are right…" She left the room after saying that.

The girl didn't mention her counterpart's original ideas… to 'mark' all the furniture, do it on the couch, in the bathtub or the shower…

Nope, Julis did not want to mention, those ideas, maybe...eventually take some inspiration from them?

Alex was quite annoyed at how his original plan went out of the window.

He wanted to use the dungeon to grind for tickets to fix his scars for the PE class.

Now, however, he will need to use his Uncommon tickets to get the Scar-minator ones…

The exchange store allows one to get lower rank tickets by exchanging the higher ones.

At least the rates are fair, as Alex got 100 common tickets for 1 uncommon one.

After that, he exchanges for Scar-minator one.

He did this twice, which increased the number of tickets he had to fix his scars to 3!

Then he finally used the App…

Alex selected the ugliest scar which was done by the Calydonian Boar.

the scar was extremely big, most of his body looked like it was punched through and then filled up and sewed back, not only that but the colour of this scar was slightly different from the rest of his body, making it look ugly.

Without much thought, he pressed on it and a pop-up appeared.

[YES] [NO]

Alex quickly pressed [YES] and at that moment his body glowed for a second.

'Right, can't do this in public it seems…' He said that while inspecting himself, he felt nothing, there was only a glow.

He then selected another lethal-looking scar on his neck around the artery and pressed on it.

Interestingly enough it's not just a scar that is selected but who has inflicted it.

This means that the entire bite on the back of the neck is selected.

Once more Alex selected [YES] and his body glowed, he then looked at another on his legs area, which looked like quite permanent damaging scars too.

Some people would ask how he can still walk with this kind of scar…

'Oh, yeah… I can already imagine the school faculty office calling my parents, what a shit storm it would be…' He grimaced before pressing on the scars on his legs.

He then pressed on [YES] and his body glowed once more.

Leaving him with only three serious-looking scars.

One on his back, one slash on his chest, and a few bite-like marks on his left hand.

'Hmm…' He inspected his left hand, he might be able to keep this one.

The marks don't look too unrealistic in this world's wolf's marks…

Maybe slightly on bigger size. But, they were not too deep.

After finishing with his scars he walked to the kitchen where he saw humming Julis, which was a sight to see!

"Made some quick sandwiches, you should wake me up earlier you know?" She said that he with a small pout.

"No, can do. I was enjoying it too much." He grinned at her and she only sighed back.

"I suppose I can understand." She said that then she saw him with a shirt which showed off his neck.

"They are gone are they?" Julis walked over and inspected him.

Alex nodded at her.

"Yeah, wasted two Uncommon tickets for that."

Julis could hear the annoyance in his voice, something she could understand too.

"Well, at least you can now show off more skin and those muscles of yours." She said that while trying not to lick her lips.

Her boyfriend could only shake his head at his girlfriend, for one he knows what will happen once he shows off his muscles, Julis will get all touchy and possessive… showing her Yandere tendencies which Alex is surprised to learn she developed.

'All thanks to the two cards I used at the same time…'

"We will see, there is PE today…" He shrugged casually, and the pinkhead nodded at him.

"Try not to reveal too much of your power…" She warned while returning to her seat.

"It depends on circumstances we end up." He smiled back at her.

*Sigh*

The girl sighed back at him in turn as she started to eat her sandwich.

Sona Sitri once again was baffled at what she saw.

Her hand went to her temples and started massaging them, this was getting too much for her.

Can these two be normal for once!?

Is it too hard to ask to behave in a single pattern like normal individuals do?

While she is happy that Alex's progress in power is somewhat halted or maybe just learned to hide it better…

Hopefully, it's the ladder, and not his some sort of new hiding ability.

Powers aside Sona noticed that both of their disposition somewhat changed, while Alex tried to behave humble there was some pride in him which Sitri Heiress used before, now she can see some hidden arrogance too, same with his girlfriend.

She expected this on their first day of transfer. But, not now… it's like they are two different people.

"Morning Shitori Kaichou." Alex still uses the Devil Heiress's fake name since she is hiding it with reason, unlike certain red-haired devil families.

"Morning Komnenos-san…" Sona noticed that there was no flinch from Alex this time.

This made the Devil Girl slightly narrow her eyes at him, sometimes small details can hide big things.

"Morning Shitori Kaichou." Julis greeted the Devil Heiress too, Sona noticed a smile on her face, it wasn't a regular one.

No, it was something like a lion showing its teeth, it can be translated into something like 'If you try anything funny I will show you despair.'

Julis was marking her territory, and broadcasting that.

Once more it confused The Sitri, as she was expecting that on the first day, but why now?

The girl changed too like she was a new person, she was much more natural around her boyfriend…

'This two… what is going on with them!?'

"Morning Riessfeld-san, I have not decided yet what your roles are in the Student Council, I hope we can discuss this over the breaks or if you two wish after the classes." She greeted Julis and then addressed the two of them.

Julis narrowed her eyes for a second, she had expected this, the Heiress already started to add them into the mix…

Not that she cares much any more, she is years ahead of these Devils.
