5 - Prospective

In his previous life Harris had many disappointments from small race incident which cause him to lose the race, mechanical failure but also the disappointments from not taking chance in front of him, he could have entered a team driver academy but since he would have to leave Japan he denied to stay with his foster grandparents.

Since he reincarnated with his parents still alive, he will prevent their death by any means. With their support he could race without worrying about money issues. And when he goes to higher ranked championship with faster car he should have the support of a team and even pay him to win. He also started to draw a plan about investment.

In 2007 the economical crisis started in the US and in September 2008 in the rest of the world. He was not in the era where he could simply buy stocks and wait until his stocks cost more than 1000% the initial price. He would have to convince his father to buy the right stocks at the right time, which should be easy with his futur knowledge. He already knew that his parents were wealthy, and by wealthy it really mean a lot like their house was not outrageous but it was a 2-story house still and the main thing was the location. It was in one of the most expensive district of Tokyo, how does he know that ? He simply searched on different support like Internet or even estate agency about the price, he nearly passed out from shocked when he saw that. He even started to believe that his plan wasn't needed. Which is true when he asked his dad in which company he worked. His father started laughing like crazy and told him that he does not work, he lead. He thought that his father was a CEO from a company but then again he was shocked and finally passed out. His father was a shareholder from a really big group and it was an automobile group.

Even if he was happy and sad because his plan was trashed and went to the bin, money was no longer a problem. But it also brought a problem. In his previous life, he was never told that he just lived his life like any teenager would but, with the death of his parents, wasn't all that belong to them transferred to him ? then why the only thing he had was, yes a certain amount of money and his old house but it should be much more. Thinking about it more deeply he never met his biological grandparents from his mother side. The one from his dad side died a year before his dad did. He should visit them too. He also never knew his mother origin, to be honest his mother was a mystery to him. She always got to work but it was 3 day only and she never told him in what she worked.

He was brought of his thought by his mother

"Honey what are you doing ? get out the car we arrived"

"Oh ? yes coming mom"

Today was a "shopping" day, well it was initially for only him and his father to go buy his racing gear but it went the other way when his mother heard them told them she would come since "It was a long time since our last family outing" well Harris was happy hearing that until he heard her murmuring "I also need a lot of clothes they will help me" and told his dad who went pale earring that.

Contrary from his expectation, the day went rather easily for the family and they enjoyed it...well only if the family consist of mother and son since the dad was crying every time his wife told him to buy her this clothe or the other one. She has the same amount of money as him ! he was all the way mumbling something about "slavery" and that he was the "man of the house" but seeing his wife smile he just cowardly went behind his son.

The little game was over when Harris asked his mother

"Mom, can I ask why I didn't meet my grandparents from your side ? They are still alive ?" The atmosphere was a little tense and his mother still had a smile but it was more a forced one then a genuine.

"It's a little complicated honey there are little issues but if you want I will bring you to them"

She didn't really want her son to enter her family which consisted of plot and more plot, even though she was protected by her parent since they had a large amount of power but the issue came from the child of the relative of her parents.

"Alright let's go we still need to order your race suit" His mother said changed the conversation subject while her husband said nothing, aware of her dilemma.

They already brought his helmet, glove, socks and boots and other things but not the suit since his father had a contact to make him a custom-made race suit with his name written and he could choose the design of it.

They went to his friend and took Harris's measurements, as for the design since he was always a fan of the Red/white/black association he went and choose one where all the suit was white with red on his shoulder and arm on the outside and black on the inside, the black went all the way down on the outside of the suit. On the middle was written his name and surname with the Japanese flag even though he said he wanted it to be the Italian one to represent his father origins since he didn't know his mother's but they said that it will be more easier with a Japanese flag to enter the national tournament, he could change it when competing in international championships. He already had the Italian nationality and European passport.

It will take 1 week to make the suit so they would need to wait. In the meantime his father taught him the tournament regulation he will enter in 10 days and which type of kart he will drive. He also told him that it was okay if he lose since it will be his first time driving this type. He didn't have enough time to train with school at the same time. Harris thought that it will be a difficult race and went sleeping/training but was also surprised when he saw that the 100 cm³ kart was added. It was added because he knew enough information about the structure of the vehicle with his father's teaching. he thanked his father in his mind and launched a training program.
