With a sigh Harris made the choice of risking his race, he already proved his value enough and if he actually failed the move he could just blame it on the fact that he was still a kid and make harsh decisions.

Without any second thought he would go for it. He also pushed to the limit in turn 8 and 9 to get maximum momentum and to carry more speed in the corner. Maybe because of that decision Harris caught up much earlier than scheduled. Arriving at turn 10 Harris side by side with the forth place and he stick to the racing line and flew past the fort place who could only watch in awe Harris.

Of course in sport no real plan work as it should and there is always variable like here with the third place losing the back end of his kart and slow down a lot. Harris was coming from behind when he saw the mistake and was forced to slow down and move a bit to the outside. Unfortunately for him only that much caused him a trip into the grass.

What was fortunate enough was that he slowed down and could go back on track except much slower than expected. It caused great time loss for him and that foiled his plan.

Still, the third was still in the middle of regaling control of his kart and when he finally did he turned to see behind and saw Harris coming at him. At the end of the straight they were side by side, they carried on until turn 6, the slower part of the track and the third had the inside line.

At this moment everyone thought the race was over and the fight would end, even tough it was a beautiful fight it has come to an end.

Well, they still kept their eyes on the 2 karts.

It was at that time that Harris, who slowed down on purpose came back at full speed at the exit of turn 7 and was at almost side by side, only the kart's nose peeking for a chance.

Maybe he thought about victory too soon, and didn't care about Harris anymore, the third place took turn 8 normally and closed the door for Harris chance. But what he didn't see was Harris kart's nose peeking and braking much later than him which cause a him a great shock and couldn't react in time. Harris nose touched his kart and his span beautifully on the asphalt.

Harris slowed down as much as he can and could still go on, gaining the third place. Still in a daze the ex-third place and now fourth, became fifth and finally sixth, he took so much time to restart that he lost 2 other place.

He race again while thinking 'Damn ! That's his fault here ! He purposely went straight into my kart to make me spin this sh*t ! Let's see after the race if you can smile, there is stewards they saw everything'

The race finished with Harris third from last which is a feat not doable for everyone, a very few could make such a comeback even tough it was still kids category.

In the stand everyone who thought it was the end were keeping their mouth shut. After a while loud cheers could be heard and everyone one had the same thought about the incident. Harris was not at fault, the kart in front should have let some space for Harris which he did not and turned into Harris it was a miracle only one kart was hurt.

Harris drove to the pit lane and parked his kart one the designated third place. He went to his family and friend who congratulated him, some fan and other driver also came to congratulate him on his feat. Alessio's friend was going to talk to Harris but it was interrupted by a loud voice and a person coming their way.

"You !! Get your kart off this place you don't deserve the third place you ran straight into me you should be heavily penalised and even disqualified !"

Harris was looking at him like he was looking at a fool, ran straight into him ? I was freaking slowing like my life was on the line, you're just a very bad loser even those who were behind me know that this is your fault.

Not wanting to bother with a kid he was going to let him cry and go away but he also didn't want to be seen as a pushover who could be accused like that.

"You are saying it's my fault right ? Then come with me, anyway we were called by the stewards to talk about the incident. That will prove everyone, and show everyone that you are nothing but a sore loser who could not even see his fault" said Harris with an irritated voice.

"Alright let's go then ! I'll show you newbie how is it to cheat like that !"

Maybe he was really a fool or a retard but he was nothing but digging his grave and the people surrounding the duo were shaking their head, everyone saw the incident and it was easy to solve it.

At the same moment a few stewards came to do the explanation in front end of everyone where normally it was done in private.

"In the case of driver Harris and driver Hiro the final stance was that it was nothing but a race incident and even a little bit on driver Hiro's fault. At turn 8 driver Hiro did not pay attention to his surroundings and didn't see driver Harris just behind him and his nose peeking. Driver Hiro should have let space to fight but did not, which resulted in the incident above."

Hiro was dumbstruck and realised that he was nothing but making a fool of himself, but still not believing the result and seeing Harris'a smug face he still protested.

Everyone saw that he was making a fool of himself and departed to the award ceremony. As for Hiro he went away with one of his relative holding his ear.

Harris was awarded the third place trophy with loud cheers from the public because of his miracle race and was saw as a fairly skilled driver who had potential but still needed to face the other skilled driver of Japan. In the public he could hear some familiar voice telling "That's my nephew ! Ahhahah" or "Last time I saw him he was still peeing in his pants and now here he is" while crying.

These two were obviously Harris's uncle Leo and Enzo but Harris was clearly intending on ignoring those two and the embarrassment they brought up. We could still see a little hue of red on his ear if observed properly.

After the award ceremony ended Harris was going to see his family and friend but was intercepted by his father and another guy.

The man started talking with a warm smile of his face.

"Hello Harris, my name is Takaya Todoroki can I talk to you ?"
