7 Completing Sensei’s mission

"Let's take a break for today." Sensei said.

I nodded and put my bokken on my shoulder. Over the year this sword in terms of iron in tons is about 450tons. I can carry it almost without difficulty and that's not all.

Sensei makes me walk around with weights on my legs that weights as much as the sword. If I remember correctly he said "Little monsters shouldn't be walking are so freely." Then I teased him about how that sounded racist to all the monsters and he upped my training.

I walked into the house and sat at the table and poured a small cup of grape juice for me and Miyamoto-Sensei.

"What are we doing today Sensei?" I asked. He drank some sake and hummed.

"Today I'm disowning you."

"..."

I just looked at him funny. He made jokes like this a lot, but they were always jokes. Me and Sensei actually got along great. Even the townspeople thought he had adopted me.

Kyotaki-San even made fun of us, because just a year ago we didn't even want to live together, now we have this, father-son type of relationship.

Well that's what it looked like anyways.

"Well I'm not disowning you, but I am going to put you in grave danger to test your limits." He said taking another sip of sake.

I was stronger than Sensei physically, but he was still a veteran at combat, so I still lost a lot. That's why I was really wondering, what the hell does this demon call grave danger?

"I'm taking you to deaths swamp, but first come with me." He then got up and left the house with me following.

"Little Akihito, it's good to see you again." Said Kyotaki-San as he walked towards us.

"And you." He spoke to Sensei. What I was told is that Kyotaki was like a grandfather to Miyamoto. Well more like a tough love type of grandpa.

"It's good to see you too Kyotaki-San." I said with a nod.

"Where are you headed off to? You going to train again?" He asked, but before I could answer he glared at Miyamoto.

"Give the damn boy a break. He's been training day in and day out for two years straight." He said in a thuggish voice.

"What I do with my disciple is my business. Mind your own." Sensei said as he got in Kyotaki's face with a vein on his forehead.

"Ahem." I cleared my throat. They were always like this with every meet. They did share some sake some times, but they'd end up drunk and pass out while muttered hate at each other.

"We're going to Hanosaki, so I can give him his graduation gift." Miyamoto said as he scratched the back of his head. I looked up at him wide eyed.

"Since when did such a stingy bastard give presents." I muttered, but they heard it. While Kyotaki covered his mouth and laughed. Miyamoto grabbed my collar and picked me up off the ground.

"I'm a what!?!" He said gritting his teeth. I looked away as he started shaking me violently. He then sat me down with a sigh.

"Let's go, he won't wait all day." Sensei said as he walked off. I didn't know who this Hanosaki guy is, but I heard he was a grumpy guy.

I followed along with Miyamoto and Kyotaki as we made our way to Hanosaki's shop. I did hear about him being a blacksmith and a great one at that.

....

"You really made me work to make this shit now pay up." Said an man who looked to be a dwarf.

"I'm the goddamn chief have more respect." Miyamoto said with a tired voice.

'Does this guy have any good relationships in this village?' I asked myself. I couldn't see over the counter, so I couldn't see what he was paying for, but when he took it off the counter my eyes widened again.

The graduation gift was a Katana. Of course I learned his duel wielding sword style while I was with him, but I also learned to fight with one sword or with just my hands. We also went over lots of tactics, though they were mainly if I was in a war, so we couldn't put them all to action.

I looked at his arm that was slightly shaking and had a sudden thought.

'How heavy is that damn sword?' I saw his veins start to pop out of his arm and his hands were sweating. He was also trying to leave quickly.

"Get the hell outta my shop!!" Said the grumpy old guy. Instead of walking out Sensei grabbed Kyotaki and we [Flash Stepped] away to the house.

[Flash Step] just allows us to travel greater distances in one step.

We appeared in the house and Sensei dropped the sword immediately. It smashed into the floor breaking some of the wooden planks.

"Get the sword." He said and walked off into the kitchen. I looked at the sword that was embedded in the floor for a while before walking over to it.

"What exactly was this sword made of?" I asked.

The sword was in a black and red sheath, but the black had a smoke design. I picked up the sword with difficulty. My muscles flexed and my veins protruded out.

I pulled the sword up to my waist and slowly unsheathed the blade. The blade was abysmal black. The handle had a black and red diamond pattern.

I looked at the blade and dropped the sheath breaking more floor boards.

"Oi, stop breaking shit!!!" Sensei said as walked over from the door way.

"This sword looks to be made of mystical magic ore." Muttered Kyotaki. I looked at him in confusion. This wasn't mentioned in the manga.

"It's one of the strongest types of material in the world." Sensei said with a proud smirk.

"Kid, let's go. You'll be out camping alone for a while. This is your graduation test."

"Didn't I already graduate?" I asked bewildered.

"Yeah, but that's because I know you'll pass." He said lowly with a sigh.

"Kyotaki get the hell out, kid you follow me." He said and left the house. I looked at Kyotaki and he had the same thuggish look on his face as he marched outside.

'Here we go.' I thought with a sigh. I then sheathed my blade and carried it outside. They were doing the usual going back and fourth with each other.

Kyotaki left us shortly after their argument, and Sensei continued to our destination.

"Sensei, where are we going!" I asked.

"I'm taking you to snakes Valley. There you'll spend a month to kill the boss snake. If you can't beat the snake within that month, you'll return that sword and never utter my name again." He said seriously.

I gulped a bit, but kept my composure. We continued to the northeast in a deadly silence.

<Snakes Valley>

We arrived in snakes valley and I could already hear all the hissing and slithering of snakes.

"You'll be staying here for a month. I'm that timeframe you're to kill the boss of snake valley…don't die, kid." He said and [Flash Stepped] away.

I looked at the so called valley and sighed. This place looked more like the Grand Canyons than any valley.

I then used my X-Ray vision and saw that this place was actually overrun with emperor Vestas. There was thousands of them from what I saw. I pulled up my sword closer to my waist and I actually didn't have much of a problem this time.

'I guess the walk in the sun was good after all.' I thought as I hopped into the cannon. I land and looked around. There were huge holes in the walls and I could see yellow eyes staring right at me from everywhere.

"What a pain in the ass." I muttered while scratching my head.

"Wait who said I would just have to use the sword?" I thought with a slightly smug smile on my face. I then raised my right hand up as high as it could. Right above it was a ball of fire mixed with thunder.

It slowly grew in size till it was the size of a huge boulder. At this point the snakes are moving away because of the extreme heat being produced from the fireball. I opened up my "inventory" and then slammed my right hand down.

The massive ball of destruction was rushing the the ground and I jumped into my inventory just in time to escape a massive heat wave.

….

<Inside the Inventory>

I'm currently in an endless sea or darkness as I float around. When I jumped in here I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this.

All of the stuff I put in here was just floating around. It looked like it was frozen in time though. I had lots of animal meat and animals material to make clothes out of.

It was just so boring waiting in here for the explosion to be over. I opened a small pocket in the space that I'm in and looked at the outside world. There was just total destruction. The explosion was over and the result was that the snakes valley now looked like deserted flatland.

Well everything was flattened besides the huge crater in the ground. I slowly stepped out and looked at the scene with satisfaction.

'Yup, mission complete.' I thought with a nod. I turned around to leave, but I looked ahead in pure disbelief.

"Well I'll be damned one did survive. At least I found my target, but shit he's huge." I muttered as I took a step back from this gigantic pure white snake. It's body looked like it could wrap around a small mountain.

I was only 4'3. I took a step back and looked at this thing in front of me.

I was about to attack when I saw blue veins that seemed to be fluxing with light run down his body. Then he opened his mouth and a beam of blue light shit at me. I barely dodged it by rolling to the right. I got up and clutched the sword. I [Flash Stepped] and appeared next to it. I then used another skill I got from Miyamoto-Sensei.

[Super Sonic Drawing] It was basically a drawing technique that allows you to unsheathe your blade with enough speed and strength that it's almost impossible to see.

I cut a deep wound on its side as it shrieked in pain. It then circled around me. I immediately started flying into the air as I dodged another beam. I looked down at the snake only to see the wound was already healed.

'Well shit.' I thought.
