Obito panted heavily, his gaze fixed on Kaito standing defiantly across from him. In just two minutes, he had already been killed five times by Kaito's relentless attacks.

It was a brutal test of Kaito's newfound techniques, but it also underscored the stark reality that Kaito's strength now surpassed his own.

The battlefield around them was fraught with tension. Uchiha Tekka and others, having just repelled the root invasion, were now rushing towards their location.

Itachi, his sword hesitantly raised in a standoff with Fugaku, sensed the impending clash between Obito and Kaito.

Obito's mind raced as he assessed his remaining options. He still had about four minutes left of 'Izanagi,' a technique that allowed him to cheat death by altering reality, but each resurrection exacted a heavy toll on his chakra reserves.

Even with his intermediate-level immortal body, he couldn't afford to keep expending it recklessly; it would severely diminish his combat power for future engagements.

"Why the hesitation, Obito? Have you finally found a way to counter me?" Kaito taunted, his time and space abilities giving him a distinct advantage in the battle. "Or are you planning to flee?"

Obito smirked, refusing to show weakness. "Your time-space techniques are indeed formidable, but our battle has only just begun."

Kaito shrugged nonchalantly, his eyes scanning the battlefield. He noticed Danzo's hidden position, realizing they had been discovered upon their arrival. Calculating silently, Kaito decided to prolong the confrontation. "We still have 15 minutes. I'll entertain you a while longer."

With a cold smile, Kaito vanished and reappeared behind Obito, his sword aimed for Obito's neck. But Obito, having anticipated the attack, swiftly evaded and countered with a strike of his own. Their clash intensified, each move calculated and precise, a dance of lethal blows and evasions.

Danzo observed the battle intently, assessing the strengths and weaknesses of both combatants. As Kaito used 'God's Presence' to reappear once more, Danzo signalled the roots into action.

The group of roots realizing Danzo's order, unleashed various ninjutsu towards the centre of the battlefield!

"Earth Release? Earth Dragon Bomb!"

"Earth Release? Yellow Spring Marsh!"

"Fire Release? Fire Dragon Bomb!"

"Wind Release? Great Breakthrough!"

Hundreds of ninjutsu erupted across the battlefield, covering the Uchiha clan compound in a storm of earth, fire, and wind techniques. The resulting explosions engulfed the surroundings in chaos, turning night into day.

As the dust settled, the roots retreated to a safe distance, convinced that their attacks had ended the battle. But amidst the smoke and debris, the question lingered: had Kaito finally managed to defeat Obito?
