I blink for a few seconds when I see that I sit down in front of a red humanoid creature complete with a flaming horn. The man in front of me is the stereotypical look of a demon. He looks at me and says,

"Ah, you must be our new agent."

"Agent?"

"Have you not filled out a questionnaire before you sleep?"

"Questioner? Do you mean the CYOA? The Waifu Catalog? That one?"

"That is right. That is our job ads for people to click and join our company."

I can only nod slowly and say.

"Doesn't that mean you will have at least a thousand people applying daily?"

"Not really, no. We only accept people that meet our criteria."

"What is the criteria?"

"Sane, that is most important of all."

"Fair enough."

"Not too greedy."

"That is… a bit counterproductive, no? You are a company that tries to capture as many targets as possible."

I have read the catalog and what kind of CYOA it was. It is about enslaving people and letting the company make a clone of the captured/enslaved target for them to sell to other customers.

I can see the demon in front of me nod and say.

"That is true. However, a very greedy agent is bad for business. They did not know when to hold back. We like greedy people; it is good for business, but a very greedy person will cause us problems. Take this, for example, and this happened not too long ago. One of our agents managed to stamp a Tier-11 being somehow. Tier 11 is the highest tier, by the way. The demon smirks at me and says.

"You can say that. However, instead of an explosion, it is a seed that pops a new plant."

"Right."

"Anyway, that is why we did not want an agent that was too greedy. We want a greedy agent but not too much."

"I see. Anything else?"

"Yes. They cannot be too degenerate but also not too righteous."

"Not innocent?"

"Hah! Innocence is our most important target. They are the naive kind of people who think their actions are righteous, but in reality, they are the same as the other agents."

"Perfect. Next is the [Life's A Beach] perk. With how massive your lawn will be, we already put the animal from your Earth."

"What kind of animal?"

"Wild animals like tigers, lions, or giraffes depend on the biome. You can pick what you want."

"Hmmm… Can I get meadow? I want sheep, pigs, cows, and chickens roaming this land. I also want a forest behind that meadow with wolves and other predators. Behind my home, I want an ocean with a beach not too far away from my home."

"I got the picture. Do you want your home on the edge of a cliff? You need to walk to arrive at the beach."

"That is perfect. Yes. I want that."

"Great. That will be all. Are you ready to start your new life?"

I nod and say.
