46 Rin Tohsaka's Summoning

(A/N: Before we start our fanfic, I'm going on a business trip. I wanted to at least let you all know. I'm an automation engineer, so I'll be spending some time installing and testing machinery. So I'll probably spend about a week on site doing the installations. I won't stop the fics, I'll just be traveling for work. After I get back, we'll return to our regular schedule.)

(From Riser Phenex's perspective,)

Medea looks at me with a calculating gleam in her eyes, as if assessing how much she could trust me with the details of her abilities. "My skills are varied, and as you can see, quite focused on magic and creation. Item construction and territory creation are essential for preparing the battlefield in our favor. And of course, my Noble Phantasm, Rule Breaker, can be a trump card against any magic we face."

She pauses, as if weighing her next words. "But my greatest strength, Riser, isn't listed among these abilities. It lies in my ability to adapt, to think and act beyond the confines set before me. That, I believe, will be our greatest asset."

Her confession makes me reflect on the nature of our alliance. Medea, the sorceress, is not just a collection of skills and powers; she is a strategist, a survivor of countless betrayals and battles. And I, a devil displaced from his own world, find in her not just an ally, but a kind of mirror to my own complexities and challenges.

"I understand," I respond, feeling a newfound respect for her. "So, our first step is to use your abilities to establish a secure base and gather information about our opponents. We need to know who we're dealing with before we can plan our next move."

Medea nods, a sly smile forming on her lips. "Exactly. And with the territory I can create, we'll have an impregnable fortress, a place where we can plan our moves in safety and where I can maximize the use of my magic."

The night progresses as we discuss strategies and plans, each bringing their own perspective and skills to the table. The alliance between a devil and a sorceress, though unlikely, seems to be exactly what we need to navigate the dangers of the Holy Grail War.

As Medea works on her enchantments and I ponder the possibilities our partnership could bring, I can't help but feel we're on the cusp of something grand. Together, perhaps we can not only survive this war but also redefine what it means to win.

The moon shines high in the sky, a silent reminder that, in this world of magic and power, anything is possible. And as I look at Medea, I see not just the sorceress history has painted, but an ally, a partner in our joint quest for the unknown.

"Let's make history, Medea," I say, determined.

She looks at me, her eyes reflecting the same determination. "Yes, let's. Together."

And so, under the cover of night, we begin to weave the threads of our fate, ready to face whatever the future holds. With each plan we make and each strategy we devise, I feel we're not just fighting for our desires but also creating a new narrative, one where we are the masters of our destiny. (A/N: He talked all about the Matous, Tohsakas, the priest, Gilgamesh, as well as Illyasviel, and about a possible noble phantom.)

The Holy Grail War may be ruthless and fraught with danger, but with Medea by my side, I feel a strange confidence that together, we can face any challenge. And who knows? Perhaps, in the end, we might find not just the power we seek but something even more valuable: an understanding of ourselves and our place in this vast and mysterious universe.

With this determination in our hearts, we advance, ready for whatever comes next.

(From Rin Tohsaka's perspective.)

Tonight, I would summon my servant at 2 a.m., right when my Prana reserve peaks. I'll even use my Prana reserve, which I've stored in a crystal for 10 years. Everything was set, just 4 minutes to go, and with my magic circle already drawn, she began to chant.

"For elements silver and iron,

Foundation stone and archduke of pacts,

And for my Great Master Schweinorg.

Close the four gates.

Come forth from the Crown and follow the Forked Road leading to the Kingdom.

Fill,

Fill,

Fill,

Fill,

Fill.

Repeat Five times but when each is filled destroy it.

Set.

Heed my words, my will creates your body, and your sword creates my destiny.

If you heed the Grail Call and obey my will and reason then answer me.

I hereby swear that I shall be all the good in the world.

That I shall defeat all Evil in the world.

Seventh Heaven clad in the Great Words of Power.

From the Binding Circle vow Guardian of the Scales."

As the chant ends, the magic circle glows intensely, and then...

Nothing.

Absolutely nothing.

For a full minute, nothing happens, then...

Boom!

I rush upstairs like a madwoman, heedless of anything else. When I reach the room, it's dusty and in disarray.

"Ah! No! I can't believe it. What a mess," I say aloud to myself, only to be answered.

"Ara. What a troublesome girl, making a mess at the time of summoning. My master is indeed a poor magus," states a male voice coming from a hunk sitting on my furniture.

"You! You're my S-servant, the one I summoned! Hmph! How dare you be so bold!" I retort petulantly, feeling the command seals burning on my hand. My twin tails are shaking.

"Ha! What a troublesome master. You think acting like this with me will earn you any recognition? I am a servant and can do almost anything freely whenever I want," the damned bastard gives me a seductive smile. Damn it, I'm not blushing! No, no.

"Look at the mess you've made in my living room. You will have to clean up this mess thoroughly," I say to him, thinking who does he think he is? This spoil-sport.

"Ha. You speak as if you knew or perceived our connection. You talk as if I would accept any order because you are my master and I the servant. But you forget, I am several times more powerful than you," he retorts. This! This smirking bastard. I'll make him dance to my tune. You'll see!

Feeling the command seal burning on the back of my hand, I use it. "By my command seal, I order you to obey all my commands, no matter what, and never under any circumstances try to harm me by your direct or indirect means," I declare powerfully and victoriously, feeling through our connection the pure indignation coming from the command seal. Almost as if he couldn't believe what I had done.

"You," he whispers incredulously to me while pointing at the back of my hand, where one of the marks had faded.

"Hmph. You know nothing. Now. As soon as we finish our conversation, I want you to clean up this entire room. Then make my dinner! Hmph!" I tell him powerfully and completely full of myself.

"Are you an idiot? You just used a command seal for that?!" he yells, losing his cool for the first time. He seems disappointed in what I did. How dare he intimidate me like this. He will receive punishment tenfold.

Clap!*

"Now. Tell me. Who are you? What is your class? And your abilities?" I ask him seriously for the first time.

"You don't know how to view my Status. Huff. You know what. Forget it. My name doesn't matter. Because I forgot my name. So you can call me Archer. And as for my class, it's already explained. And my abilities, I can make swords." I feel I've done something wrong. I wanted to summon a knight. Maybe King Arthur. But no, I summon this. An archer. I feel an immeasurable disappointment creeping over me. I can see him clearly, seeing my face in disappointment.

"You know. Even though I have few moves, you should be aware of a saying: I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." Still, my indignation creeps over me. Now, don't tell me he'll say people die when they are killed?

"Seriously. If you say so," I walk away with those words, feeling victorious. Now I have a ser... I mean, a servant to follow my orders.

"It's already three ten. Seems my master summoned at a very good time for the devil," he says to me with a smile, again almost as if he knew something. No, wait. It's now three ten, which means.

"Ah! No! I missed the summoning time. Darn it!" I yell to myself, angry. The clock downstairs is wrong. (A/N: I don't remember the exact time of her summoning. But I remember she missed the time because she is very careless. Well, she basically lives alone in a small mansion. So it was to be expected.)

I grind my teeth in frustration. Don't tell me the bastard knew. Then I turn to face him. Yes, he's smiling at me. Bastard! You haven't won. I will have my revenge.

(A/N: What do you think of the interaction between Archer and Rin? She's not in love with him. But he doesn't mind mercilessly teasing her. After all, teasing a Tsundere is one of his pastimes. Now about the poll I did to add to the nobility. Cough Harem. Of the girls from the Fate – Type Moon universe. Medea he kind of already marked with the Binder. So he already has her loyalty. But in the poll, we have Artoria, Rin, Sakura, Nero. Then we have Morgan Le Fay. Nero will have to be added when he gets to FGO. Or should I make the Holy Grail War in Tokyo? Animusphere will be the master of Lancer in the current Fate universe in the fifth Holy Grail War.)
