Unknown

"Did you see how he reached there..." The bearded old man uttered. Aghast, but more scared and fearful of his thoughts and conclusions. He could only hope that what he thought of was wrong.

"One... One with the wind...? No, but he dematerialized into dark particles...?" The archer replied in dismay. Her skin turned pale and her blood became cold. But, when they experienced the most fear, Blade's voice resounded as he explained with a calm and kind noble smile.

"It is exactly like what you said... One with the wind... But, it's also one with the Light... One with Darkness... One with... You get the point.

Instead of referring to it as such, I simply named it One with Chaos. Though Martial Sovereigns and higher are the only ones who could become One with the world laws, Chaos is something beyond you people and your feeble comprehension!"

Blade continued with his hair fluttering and his eyes leaving even these Martial Emperors in a daze, which in turn, sent them even more tremors of fear into their hearts.

"Though only after one steps into the Martial Sovereign realm and their soul begins to be reforged layer by layer, can one become one with the laws, the same doesn't apply for a Nine Heavens Martial Emperor like myself."

The farther one cultivates, the more information one naturally claims. This information comes from the laws themselves.

So to slowly learn techniques that involve laws, such a thing isn't necessary either as the experience would be etched into the cultivator's mind. Of course, by continuously using the techniques, the cultivator would become more adept at using them...

Similarly, information about the next realm will also be etched into the mind of a cultivator. And Blade had already understood the next realm of cultivation, and how to reach it. He'd assume that it was the same for these Emperors.

As his gaze fell on these confused and apprehensive Martial Emperors, Blade coldly smirked as his body slowly began to dematerialize. This time, it was much slower than the last as he allowed these Martial Emperors to see it firsthand.

Though he wouldn't call himself arrogant, he was still of utmost confidence that these Martial Emperors couldn't do him anything. Plus, he had already gotten what he wished for... Enough exp for another system upgrade.

Slowly dematerializing in front of their eyes, these Martial Emperors finally dawned on the one conclusion that made their bodies tremble in fear... They were completely outmatched!

These Martial Emperors had unmatched status wherever they went. Over several millenniums passed, and their arrogance slowly rose no matter how much they tried to suppress it, if at all.

Now, in the face of absolute defeat, their inability to do anything whatsoever in Blade's presence, due to his unfair advantage of using techniques only Martial Sovereigns could utilize, some of these Martial Emperors simply broke.

Thousands of years of life, and now death against some unknown youngster... A pitiful fate!

Hua!

But, there were more that couldn't accept such a fate. Even as they remained arrogant for years, a little bit of cautiousness was most definitely instilled in them to the bones! Of the six Martial Emperors still alive, four had been enveloped in a dark light.

Thereafter, ripples in the void took place. Due to his immaculate senses, Blade was able to perceive these ripples as he frowned... Though his body rematerialized behind one of the figures enveloped by the dark lights before he could attack them, this figure had already disappeared..!

"W-What?" Blade shouted in surprise. "A pity, humph! Teleportation Talismans are such a pain!"

His eyes immediately flashed with a light of both enlightenment and disappointment as he then stared at the two Martial Emperors, unable to hide the annoyance from his gaze.

The remaining two Martial Emperors were the bearded old man and a young boy merely sixteen is what he seemed to be.

With beads of sweat running down his cheek, the boy waved his hand, as the sandy surface underneath sent out several sharp beams, and each grain of sand also rushed to Blade's figure, carrying a hint of sharpness with them.

"Stop!" But, with a light shout from Blade, all the attacks made by the martial emperor, stopped in an instant. Waving his hand in the air, each grain of sand then rushed toward the previous entity who controlled them, this time with even more sharpness radiating from them.

"Don't you think it is useless doing this...?" Blade asked. The grains of sand fell on the body of the bearded old man who had lost his will and accepted his face. "You've controlled your body to not age like that old man, hmm... Do you think you can become immortal...?" Blade snickered.

The boy was the only one to remain. The old bearded man had a body filled with small wounds but due to the sheer magnitude, the small wounds stacked upon each other, again and again, and what was left of the old man... merely a pool of blood.

"With such feeble talent, not to mention becoming immortal, merely becoming a Martial Sovereign would be truly difficult for someone like you... Sigh! Hence, you couldn't resist the urge to appear here for the Emperor's Fruit." Blade said to a fear-stricken Emperor.

Rumble!

The sandy surface underneath trembled. Shooting out of the sandy surface was multiple pillars made completely of the earth below. These pillars with sharp heads like spears penetrated the body of the Emperor, completely ripping him apart with utter ease.

Silence...

[Ding!]

[Experience points: 1,250,000/625,000]

"Interesting, so with merely three Emperors, I've doubled the number of exp I previously had. Who knows, maybe I can kill enough Martial Emperors before entering the Sovereign rank, and gain enough exp to upgrade twice..." Reaching here, Blade snickered...

"Who am I fooling? Martial Sovereign realm..." Disappearing, and reappearing tens of meters away, this time, in front of Athena who didn't even sense the battle that had just taken place, Blade sat in a meditative position and closed his eyes, mumbling under his breath.

"Martial Sovereign realm... Let's enter it now!"

Thrum!

As his words fell, inside his heart, the origin core trembled, and the speed that it spun and released streaks of purple flames suddenly shot through the roof. These flames exited Blade's heart and entered his bloodstream.

'I don't understand why my body seems soo compatible with Chaos Qi but, at the very least, with this insane compatibility, I can absorb Chaotic Qi at an equally insane speed.'

If not for the Emperor's Fruit, Blade would have already reached the Pinnacle Martial Emperor realm but after hearing of its effects, he couldn't help but think that it'll be useful for Athena, hence he placed a halt to his cultivation.

But now, jumping straight to the Pinnacle Martial Emperor realm was only a matter of time. Behind Blade, unknowingly an apparition appeared...!

This apparition wasn't seen by anyone, neither Blade nor the beings who spied on him as if watching a show had sensed or seen this apparition.

Standing behind Blade was a young man with long white hair and a pair of burning amber-gold eyes that seemed to be capable of burning everything in creation. His skin was a crimson color that seemed to have been formed from the constant slaughter of flesh and blood lifeforms.

On either side of his head were a pair of dark red and purple horns whilst above his head, specifically, behind his head was a floating crimson-red halo buzzing with an aura of unrestrained wildness.

With his three pairs of black wings on his back, and a wide demonic grin etched onto his face, he seemed nothing less than a true demonic entity but the similarities between him and the current Blade was impeccable that, if not for the visible differences in skin tone, horns, and wings, he'd be considered as Blade's twin...

Snickering, his eyes which were focused on Blade, suddenly turned in a different direction. This direction was seemingly not the location they focused on though as these eyes seemingly peered through the fabrics of space and into another dimension countless space layers apart from Sector 13 of the Forbidden Zone 029 of this world.

In said location, a figure who sat on a couch with a bag of popcorn and a black soda in a glass cup on the armrest suddenly frowned. His purple-colored eyes gleamed with an unknown light as he stood up and waved his hand, as the popcorn and soda disappeared.

"Hmm..." Pure-Heart hummed with his chin resting on his claw-like fingers. "How long has it been since I, Oblivion Saber Pure-Heart, have felt like this?" With an amused smile, he placed his hand on his chest as he continued by saying.

"My heart is throbbing with fear and beads of sweat are trickling down my face... Hehe, not even the Operation Laws had made me feel this way. Boy, oh boy, what interesting thing is taking place at this moment that I'm unable to sense?!"

At the same time, on a pair of thrones that were on either side of an even larger obsidian throne located on the deck of a ship, two figures sat as a kneeling figure faced them.

The large ship made its way through a grey space home to an infinite number of purple glowing orbs floating around with countless star-shaped lights glittering on them...
