The village head was minding his own business when he saw a person's legs. He looked up to see a handsome young man in linen clothes

After finally seeing Zhou Li, the village head froze for a while just looking at him with a shocked expression. Then he snapped out of it and showed a respectful expression on his face.

"Young man, it seems that you are an adventurer from another world"

"The goddess must be blessing us to make you arrive at our small village"

"Since you have arrived in this village, mind if you help this old man with a few things"

"There are some rabbits who seemed to be destroying the crop fields"

After accepting the task, Zhou Li went outside the village and sat on a small grassy hill that had a tree. This place was a popular love proposing spot in his past life. He could just go off and kill monsters to gain exp but firstly he had to see his in-game stats. The first mission which was killing rabbits was just near the hill but he wanted to check his in-game stats. Though he knew that it would not be different from his past life, he wanted to see the old status screen of the game.

When players create their characters, they would be given stats ranging from 1~15 according to their physique in real life.

He looked in his inventory and glanced through his equipment. Ordinary linen cloth armor that all players started with that only gave 2 defense and a short broken copper sword which had an attack power of 2.

Zhou Li got up from the ground and dusted himself off.

"Let's start the hunt shall we"

Zhou Li looked towards the green plains and blue sky.

"It's good to be back here"

These plains were filled with cute bunnies which had levels ranging from level 0 to 2.

Zhou Li used inspect on the nearby rabbits to see the levels of the rabbits. Then, he went towards a level 2 rabbit and started his attack on the creature. The rabbit didn't even know that a human had crept upon it till it got struck.

A level 2 rabbit only had 50 hp and no base defense so it got killed very easily. When it died, the rabbit corpse disappeared and left a piece of meat, a rabbit's foot, and some copper coins.

"Sweet, I got one, nine more to go"

Zhou Li grabbed the items from the ground Zhou Li continued hunting the rabbits. Rabbit's feet were not that rare but it is not as common either. A piece of meat has a 100% chance of dropping when a rabbit was killed and a rabbit's foot has a 20% chance of dropping. After 10 minutes of rabbit killing, Zhou Li got enough rabbit's feet and stopped. His level gauge has not even been filled to half yet. Leveling was hard in this game. It would be even harder in the later levels.

Zhou Li also took the chance to inspect each monster he could in order for the level of his inspect skill to increase. Though Zhou Li got the required amount for the first task, he didn't go and submit it to the village head yet but went towards the forest.

The closer he got to the forest, the less he saw of these cute bunnies. Though they may be cute, they are quite deadly as well as once one gets close they would reveal their sharp fangs and attack as well. Many players would be killed by this trick in the future.

When he arrived near the forest, he heard the distant growl of wolves. Wolves had levels ranging from 3 to 5.

Though they were not monsters that are normally challenged by level 0 players, there are some players that could do it. Zhou Li went inside the forest and tried to find a lone wolf, After searching for a minute or two he found one. It was a level 4 wolf. Zhou Li looked around and found no wolves near it so he went towards it. The wolf was not like the rabbit he fought earlier as the wolf sensed him when he was near him and growled at him. It tried to use its paw to strike at Zhou Li but Zhou li dodged it and struck its eye. Then he moved back and took a position where the wolf could not see him easily due to its injury and struck when it was safe to strike and after a minute, he was able to kill it. When it died, it dropped a wolf pelt and a piece of meat but no claws.

Zhou Li killed lone wolves in this function for some time till he got abused by two wolves when he was collecting his seventh claw.

"Did these guys just spawn cause I have just checked the area"

[Yes, master they have just spawned]

"Well I will just deal with them I guess"

Wolf A ran towards him, jumped, and tried to bite him but Zhou Li side-stepped and struck its under-belly but wolf B also struck at that time and tried to bite the leg of Zhou Li but he quickly pierced the mouth of the wolf with the sword. Wolf B died and disappeared into particles. The wolf A that went rolling on the grounds but still managed to stand up with anger in its eyes. Wolf A then made its move by making a motion as it was about to howl.

Zhou Li tried to stop it but he didn't reach the wolf in time and the wolf howled before Zhou Li reached it and killed it. As soon as he killed it, he heard howls of wolves from afar so he quickly took the loot and run for his very life.
