Reunion*

Gao Chen took a deep breath as she stared at the wall, refusing to meet my gaze for a few seconds more before growling in anger, her orange eyes flaring with a multitude of emotions when she finally did look my way.

"Li Yichen... Sometimes, I forget how incredibly sheltered and naive you are... You know naught how cruel the world can be, how swiftly it can take away anything it wants from you... You think you do, but you don't. You have only had a sip of the terribleness of people, the things that they are capable of. Some of them make even me look like a Saintess in comparison! Her voice faltered slightly at the end, before she took another deep breath and grit her teeth, glaring at me hard before snarling "Stop being such a spiteful bitch! Accept what's happened and move on!"
