13 CHAPTER 12
Gideon stroked the small head of his new companion, Lisk who closed it's eyes seemingly enjoying the treatment.
[Would host like to see the stats of 'Lisk'?] The system's cold voice asked.
"Yes." Immediately after, a system screen similar to his own appeared in his vision.

Gideon saw the stats and was stunned for a moment.
'Why are it's stats so much higher than mine when I just got the system? No more importantly, draconic bloodline!?' Gideon was shocked. Forget the adult, even the child would have been able to kill him when he just received the system.
"System, what's up with the draconic bloodline?." Gideon asked aloud.
[Answering host, because host formed a contract with 'Lisk' some of his power seeped into its body causing it to silently awaken the powerful bloodline of the Poison Dragon. So as it gets stronger, not only will the bloodline start to manifest more and more, but it will also gain poison magic in addition with it's already powerful earth magic]
When the system finished Gideon stood rooted on the spot and looked at the small snake in his hands.
"Well, it seems like we're going to have a lot of fun together little guy."

"No." A deep voice said without room to argue.
"But-" A smaller voice tried to rebuke but was cut off violently.
"I SAID NO!" The other side was stunned and the owner of the deep voice sighed.
"I know you are eager to get real fighting experience but a beast tide is simply to dangerous. I can't put you at risk, now go back to your room and meditate." Seeing that she wouldn't get any approval, the female nodded solemnly before leaving the room.
"I'm sorry Victoria." The man, or rather, Gideon's father said as Victoria was about to close the door.
She paused briefly before closing the door and walking to her room.
Victoria, who was now 10 years old could still be described as a beauty despite her young face.
Her yellow hair had grown to reach her waist and streaks of orange also formed signifying her fire element.
Her skin was white and smooth with no blemishes which was further accentuated by her pink lips and bright blue eyes.
Victoria entered her massive room and sat on her bed gloomily as she began to meditate, blue and red elemental particles began to form and enter her body.
'I'll Get stronger, that way no one will be able to tell me what to do, and I will be finally be able to look for you, brother.' That was her thought before she fully entered a meditative state.

Gideon stood in a massive dark room that was the size of three football fields. Green torches lined the aged black walls that gave off an extremely gloomily feeling. It was the final floor of the undead dungeon.
Gideon looked forward at the figure in the middle of the room and for the first time in a while, his expression was one of rage as killing intents rolled out of his body.
His reason for his rage? Well, it is because the figure in the middle of the room was a skeletal figure clad in a black robe. It was a lich, but not just any lich, it was instead the lich that had attacked the armored train that Gideon was in and almost killed him.
You may be asking how the lich managed to leave the dungeon. If so, the n it turns out that when a dungeon monster reaches a very amount of strength, it is able to leave the dungeon for short amounts of time, and in the lich's case, it sensed the abundance of life energy on the train that happened to be nearby, so it left the dungeon so that it could convert it to death energy in order to grow stronger. In other words, it went there the kill.
Hades and Frey appeared in his hands simultaneously as he walked towards the lich slowly.
The lich rose its head slowly and looked at Gideon's approaching figure before raising it's hand and a black ball condensed in front of its hand and fired towards Gideon at astonishing speeds, but Gideon saw the attack coming and deflected it into the ceiling with Hades.
*BOOM*
Black energy remnants scattered before dispersing, but Gideon payed it no heed as he activated two skills at this moment.
Poison overdrive
Poison aura
Gideon's eyes turned bright green and a dense green aura of poison radiated from his body while his daggers gave off a terrifying pressure along with his body.
The lich's robe fluttered as it was hit by Gideon's aura full force.
Gideon turned into a streak of green light as his body appeared in front of the lich instantly and slashed with both of his daggers towards its head from the sides.
But as the were about to hit, a dense green fog appeared from the lich's body and when Gideon's daggers touched it, it felt as if he had slashed into a ball of cotton as his attack was slowed down greatly.
The lich then jumped backwards and floated into the air and rose its hand and countless black spears formed at it's back and started firing towards Gideon.
Poison break.
Gideon slashed his daggers countless times before a second had even passed and green crescents flew towards the black spears causing numerous explosions.
Gideon Jumped through the explosions as a faint green barrier covered his body protecting him.
Immediately, he appeared in front of the lich and his daggers turned into blurs and slashed towards the lich.
The lich didn't stand on ceremony as a black sword appeared in its hands and it met Gideon's strike with it's own.
*CLANG*
A crisp noise sounded in the room which was followed by a massive shockwave that swept through the room.
Unsurprisingly, the lich lost the clash and was sent reeling backwards.
Poison flight.
A green mist covered Gideon's body as he flew towards the reeling figure of the lich and quickly appeared above it.
Poison inferno.
Gideon thrusted forward with both daggers which unleashed a terrifying spiral of dense green flames that instantly engulfed the lich and turned the ground below it into a sea of green flames.
Gideon looked at this with narrowed eyes. He had not received a notification, so the lich wasn't dead.
All of a sudden, a feeling of immense danger washed over Gideon as he swiftly flew backwards as he created a poison barrier around himself.
His instincts were on point as the tip of a massive black spears stabbed through the barrier with ease but stopped a few inches away from his chest.
Gideon then retreated the the edge of the room while cold sweat covered his face. That was too close.
A massive figure emerged from the sea of green flames that had begun to subside. It was a massive semi transparent skeletal figure that was over 30 meters tall and it held a black spear. The lich could be seen in side the skull of the massive skeleton, it's green soul flames burning fiercely in it eye sockets. It didn't take a genius to realize that it was pissed.
'Summoning your elemental avatar huh? Then I guess I won't stand on ceremony.' Gideon thought as his body was encompassed in a green energy that slowly grew outwards and started to take the shape of a humanoid.
Despite all the description, this process wasn't actually longer than two seconds as a massive green humanoid welding two daggers was created and Gideon was in its head.
It was his most powerful skill as of current. Poison avatar.
"I'm ending this." He mumbled as he dashed towards to the lich who also charged towards him at the same time.
Gideon poured all of his astral power into his daggers whereas the lich's spear tip was surging with black mist that threatened to devour all life.

Poison break
All these skills were cast simultaneously and St the right time as well, because the two clashed.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
A massive explosion erupted and just the sound was enough to shatter people's eardrums.
Green and black light mixed as the explosion caused the unbelievably sturdy dungeon to tremble.
Meanwhile, at the core of the blast,both the elemental avatars were covered in cracks that grew continuously.
Gideon released a deep shout as he pushed forward with his remaining strength and his daggers shattered the spear of the lich and cut through its head, directly destroying the lich.

The explosion ended and Gideon's elemental avatar scattered into wisps of green light.
His body fell into the ground and his vision started to darken.
'Got you, motherf**cker.' was his last thought before he passed out.
