24. Lunch and shopping

Andy went to the most luxurious restaurant in the city to dine and got a table after 15 min wait.

As Andy was going through the menu, a waiter came and asked

"What would you like to order sir?"

"Yes, can you please-" But then Andy remembered hearing that voice before and looked up to see waiter's face.

Surprisingly the waiter was Miles, his only true friend, he was wearing a waiter uniform and had a notepad in his hand.

"Miles!? What are you doing here?"

"Haah... still slow in the brain department I see"

[Host if I may suggest-]

'Don't even think about it! I will buy some INT from shop soon! Happy?!' raged Andy

"Ah I mean when did you became the waiter at this restaurant? This job is highly sought after as the pay is good"

"Yes but not as much as Wright family's butler job" said Miles with a smile and continued

"By the way what are you doing here, aren't you supposed to be in Wright mansion right now?"

"Haah they fired me today"

"What!? How!?" shouted Miles but then shut his mouth feeling the gaze of his manager on him.

"I have no clue, I took really good care of everyone, especially lady Baroness and lord baron, still I got fired. But at least they gave me a decent gratuity, thats why I can afford to dine here"

"That is too bad, Wright family offers the most generous pay in the entire town. So what are you going to do next"

"Order some food at the most expensive restaurant in town and enjoy maybe?"

"Hehehe, just tell me what you want to eat, I will get you a 20% discount!"

"Nice you are the best as always! By the way how are your parents and elder brother? I haven't seen them in ages"

"Everyone is fine, how about you? Is your mother and sister doing fine? Have you finally changed your mind and want to set me up with your sister now that I have a good job?" asked Miles in a joking manner. He always had a crush for Andy's sister and didn't try to hide it. Although he said it in a joking manner, he worked really hard to get this job just so he could impress Emily.

"Hmph, In your dreams!" said Andy

"Hahaha! by the way I've heard you got beaten up pretty bad by that guy Frank. Are you doing fine now?"

"Yes, uncle gave me a health potion which healed my injuries"

"Thats good but why would that uncle of yours help you..? Anyway are you ready to order?"

....

After waiting for around 20 minutes, Andy's order came. Food was as good as what he ate in last 2 days in Wright family. It will be difficult for him to move to regular commoner diet later on.

After enjoying his lunch, he left a generous tip and got up and was about to leave when Miles came back and said

"Lets catch up some more next time, How about you come to my house next weekend?"

"Sounds like a plan, see you later Miles" said Andy and left.

When he reached the market, he asked Freya

'Hello Freya, did your daughter already left for her date with Derek?'

'Ah! You scared me! Yes master she left 15 minutes ago, why?'

'Where can I find her?'

'She should have went to ornaments shop first... why?' Freya was getting worried.

'I am going to have a bit of revenge, hehehe'

'Ah please master, please forgive my children, I will take their share of punishment as well. Everything was my fault anyway' begged Freya

'Hmph! not gonna happen. I am going to make your daughter my slave one day same as you, so she can't marry Derek!'

'Oh! Then it should be fine~ Please take care of both us master~' said Freya happily

Andy ended the connection and shook his head thinking 'I really broke her'

Andy then moved towards the famous ornament store in town and used 'invisible man' barrier to enter.

There were only rich families present here, Andy looked around for a bit and found the lovely couple.

"Here why don't you try this?" asked Derek lovingly

"I don't know, I don't think it will look good on me" said Tamara

"Hmm, let's see... how about this one?"

"This colour will probably not go well with my hairs"

Yup, she was acting like a normal girlfriend alright.

When Derek is busy looking for something new, Tamara steals glances at him with a red face and when he picks up a new jewellery for her she again start acting like a typical girlfriend.

"How about this one, this will go well with your hairs"

"Yes, but it will look too flashy"

"No it won't, here let me show you" Derek stood up and went towards her back. Tamara's face was completely red in anticipation. She pulled up her hairs so Derek could put it on her neck for her.

But instead of that she felt that he groped her left breast, she reflexively turned around and slapped Derek in the face. A crisp sound resounded in the entire store and everyone started at the palm print on Derek's face.

"Why did you do that!?" asked Derek angrily

"I should be the one asking that question! Why did you grope my b-breast?"

"What!? I did not do that! I was about to put on this necklace on your neck and you turned around and slapped me out of nowhere! You can ask this lady who works here!"

Tamara then turned to look at that employee and asked "Is that true?"

"Ah miss, sorry I wan't looking at you at the time when I heard the s-slap" replied the lady nervously

"Why you-" raged Derek, then took a deep breadth and said

"Tamara, I did not grope you I swear. You are going to be my wife in a few years, why would I do that to you? Lets not make an even bigger scene, please"

"Ok, fine. I don't want any necklace, let go at inscription store"

...

After coming out of inscription store without buying anything, Derek's face had symmetrical palm prints on both side of his face. He was fuming with anger at this point.

"T-Tamara please listen to me I-"

Even though he didn't do anything wrong he was ready to apologise to his girl... which was a good life lesson for him... but Tamara didn't let him finish

"I am going back to my home now. Next time we meet you better behave, otherwise I will tell my father..."

"Ah please don't tell your father, he will skin me alive, he hates me in the first place" said Derek with a sad and afraid tone

Tamara expression softened a bit and thought 'Maybe I went a little too far? But who gave him the permission to take advantage of me like that! Well mother told me this morning that guys have their n-needs, so a little bit should be ok, right?'

"I won't tell father alright, but please don't do anything like that again in future... without asking for permission first" Tamara blushed and ran away.

"Sigh what did I got myself into?" Derek thought out loud and went back. He was thinking of spending all evening with his fiancee but alas the girl he fell in love with was a bit... strange?
