Memories & Family?

Present

"Hello, mother." Ambrose said in a hoarse voice from atop the corpses.

"Ambrose are you okay?" Lauren asked worriedly as she looked at her youngest child covered in blood.

Ambrose was silent for a few moments as if he was thinking about something, but actually he was still recovering from the wound Edward gave him on the chest; "I'm fine… I just can't move right now."

Lauren punched John on the arm and berated him; "Why are you still standing there?! Go carry Ambrose back to the house! The children and I will take care of things here."

John was speechless as he got scolded like a child, but he complied with his wife's wishes and picked Ambrose up from atop the pile of corpses and placed him on his shoulder.

"Let's go home Ambrose." John said as he quickly left with a bloodied Ambrose.

Lauren wasted no time and used her Power Over Fire on the corpse pile. Her flame was so hot that the pile was incinerated in 5 seconds and there was barely any smell.

"You guys should burn any remnants of the battle." Lauren turned to look at her children and said.

"Yes mom!" They both said at the same time.

The Next Day

For the first time in a long time, Ambrose woke up sore. His body was screaming at him to rest. Still, he tried to stand up and the moment he got on his feet he fell down on the floor.

THUMP!

"Ugh!"

"Is this what rock bottom feels like?" Ambrose muttered to himself.

Ambrose struggled until he finally got himself back on his bed. He tucked himself back in and his eyelids slowly started drooping.

'This isn't so bad I guess.' Ambrose had one last thought before he went into dream land.

Ambrose found himself in a dark space where he couldn't move one bit. He could hear the sound of people talking but he couldn't hear enough to make out words.

Suddenly, light shined through and Ambrose could see something. What he saw left him completely shocked. Ambrose saw a woman looking down at him with loving eyes, but she was no ordinary woman. She had divine beauty, pure white hair that fell down past her shoulders, and an absolutely stunning face and deep blue eyes.

But Ambrose wasn't shocked by the beauty of this woman, but by the the similarities he shared with her. From one look alone, he could see that he had her eyebrows and her eyes.

'Is this… my mother?' Ambrose wondered.

"Madam, I have to take him now." Another voice could be heard.

"Just give me a few more minutes with my child!" The woman raised her voice.

The woman looked at him with tears in her eyes; "I'm sorry Ambrose… I wish it didn't have to be this way. But there was no reaction when you were near the moonstone. It's better if you can live a normal life as a human.

'Moonstone?' Astar had never mentioned something like that.

"I wish you and your sister could grow up together… maybe we will meet one day… my child." The woman said in a choked voice as she handed him off to another person.

'My sister?!' Ambrose was bewildered but before he could finish his thoughts the darkness swallowed up his vision.

Ambrose woke up in a cold sweat and was panting. He held his head in his hands and tried to digest the information in his dream. There was a possibility that it could have just been a dream, but Ambrose's intuition was telling him that it was an early memory, not long after his birth.

Ambrose was filled with complicated emotions, at first he felt happiness that he had a mother that cared about him but that happiness soon turned into a burning anger when he remembered how his own pack abandoned him.

'They will all pay.' Ambrose thought as he clenched his fist so hard that the air started vibrating and his bloodlust spilled out.

"Yes mother, we will meet again… we will meet on opposite sides of the battlefield one day." Ambrose said as he quickly threw on some clothes and jumped out the window.

Not even a second later Lauren came bursting into the room after she had felt his bloodlust.

'Where did he go?' Lauren thought to herself as she looked out the window.

Dark Moon Realm

In a certain territory in the Dark Moon Realm, there were many majestic palaces built with designs and materials that have never been seen. In one of those palaces, a group of people were eating at a long table. At the ends of the table were a white haired woman, the one that was in Ambrose's dream and a tall black haired man who shared some features with Ambrose. There were 4 others sitting at the table as well, two boys and two girls. If one looked closely, you would see that they all share features with one another.

It was a normal dinner until something unexpected happened. The two people at the ends of the table suddenly stood up and both looked in the same direction.

The youngest present also stood up and looked at the two worriedly; "Mother, Father, what's wrong?!"

The others also looked at them with confusion in their eyes.

The white haired woman looked at her children with tears eyes and said; "It's your younger brother… his Werewolf side has awoken and… I've never felt a presence like his… it's like a still lake on the outside but a terrifying storm on the inside…"

The black haired man looked at his wife with serious eyes and said; "Ava, we have to report this to the True Alpha immediately."

"You're right, let's go." Ava wiped her tears a d quickly disappeared with her husband.

The 4 children were left dumbfounded because of the events that just transpired. Soon, the boys left leaving the two girls by themselves.

"Amelia, we have to go." The more mature looking woman called out to the youngest child.

"Yes sister." Amelia snapped out of her shock as she quickly followed her older sister.

If Ambrose had seen Amelia's face he would have been shocked because of how similar they are. The only big difference would be Amelia's hair, it was a mix of black and white, making her very impressionable.
